[X3AP] Rise of the Templar Empire [Lost the save, will not be active]

So for a long time now ive wanted to write down the events of a game as a story for you guys to enjoy and ive finally decided to go ahead with it now that I have Albion Prelude. I'll be honest and say I'm not all that great at it but I will try my best and hope you guys find it entertaining to read.

-Game Information-

For this little section I will update whenever I update this topic which will consist of any information about this game I feel relevant to the story that will also benefit the reader knowing.

-Prelude-

Balkor Wolf was a mercenary hired by the Argon Federation and currently deployed in Argon Sector M148 when he got a call from his sister, telling him that their father was killed during a Yaki raid. Almost immediately he set back for his home system of Herron's Nebula where his family and himself gathered for the funeral and reading of the will.

It was a very emotional time for the young pilot, during the reading they played a pre-recorded tape, it seemed as if his father knew this was going to happen and had everything prepared for when it finally did. He left the reading as a richer man, inheritance consisting of a Discoverer and a Mercury Hauler but it had cost him his father's life.

While laying wide awake in his bed that night he had a few questions... Why? Why did the Yaki attack that sector? Why didn't his father have an escort when transporting weapons? It was on this night that Balkor swore revenge, he would take his inheritance and build an empire, using it to destroy the Yaki Pirates and anyone associated with them.

-New Dawn, New Hope-

Balkor left the station in a bit of a hurry this morning, piloting his new freighter and with his Discoverer following behind he set a course to Argon Prime. He knew that if he was going to create an Empire strong enough to destroy the most feared pirate group to have ever existed then he was going to need money, a lot of it. With this in mind his first task of the day was to dock up at an Argon Shipyard and sell his father's freighter, using most of the money he made from it to upgrade and improve his Discoverer.

With a fast ship and some credits to spare he went to the one place he knew fortune could be found, Seizewell. While on his first trip to Teladi space he began writing up a list of tasks he would need to complete to ensure his campaign against the Yaki was successful. First on the list was of course to destroy all Yaki vessels, you of course can't be a pirate if you don't have a space ship. Next came up thoughts of security in his Argon Home, due to the war with the Terrans most of the Argon fleet was occupied which meant everywhere else was left with minimum defences, to ensure any empire he creates can survive he would need his own fleet patrolling to keep pirates at bay. Speaking of Industry, again due to the war it was almost impossible to get a hold of military supplies such as shields, weapons and missiles. He knew he would need a large amount of all these in order to destroy the Yaki so setting up a supply infrastructure was added to the list.

In no time all Balkor arrived in Seizewell and immediately his attentions turned to the recently developed Stock Exchange. He had heard many tales of people both finding and losing their fortunes here, now it was his turn to find out for himself. Docking up in the station he found it quite an annoyance he had to pay ten thousand credits just for the right to trade here, he wasn't happy about it but as they say, you need to spend money to earn money. In just a couple of hours time though the thirty thousand credits he started with turned to two million, a good start indeed he thought but he was going to need much more than that to become a threat to the Yaki.

A Couple of days later and he was sitting on a bank balance of fifty million credits, five times as much as what his dad had earned during his whole lifetime. On his way back to Argon Prime a new bulletin came up on the radio stating that a Magnitude 2 Kha'ak fleet is attacking Ringo Moon, Balkor immediately replotted his course to help out in any way he could.

Upon arriving at Ringo Moon via the North gate he almost ploughed into the back of a Kha'ak Destroyer, he took immediate evasive action and skimmed past the Destroyer only a couple of meters away from it, thankfully though the Alien's weapons were focused on an Argon Titan. When he got past the Destroyer all he saw in the distance was destruction, missiles and gunfire of two capital fleets engaging each other. He knew his small guns would be useless against such large ships and one hit of their beams would send him to oblivion so he set his own task of protecting any evacuating civilians against the smaller Kha'ak attack craft.

For hours the tiny Discoverer dodged missiles and lasers from the enemy ships until eventually the final Destroyed exploded with a bright blue light, leaving only a Kha'ak station and the four Argon Titans heading in its direction. The Argon fleet commanded opened comms with the ex mercenary, in gratitude of his service in protecting innocent he assigned him the position of Argon Trusted Ally, giving him a lot of access to Argon produce.

Once he arrived in Argon Prime he set a course for the shipyard to buy an Argon Mammoth, this would be his command ship for the Argon Defence fleet and named the vessel New Hope. While at the shipyard he also bought a Mosquito missile factory and some Mercury freighters, setting up the first factory of his soon to be Missile Complex.
