Question/request regarding empire organisation?....?

I was just wondering, and i know i probly wont get an official answer but will there be some some of facility in rebirth to split your assets into seperate companies, making it easier to sort out trade ships from military ships.

Its just something that has bugged me in previous x games having all my military ships mixed up with my trade ships in the property menu.

For example when i start a new campaign i usually create two different parts to my empire (in my head) one being a corporation that specialises in trade and a private military force for hire.

It would be nice if when you enter the property menu (or the rebirth equivalent) you can select different user made categories which certain ships apply too, making it easier to find and manage particular ships rather than scrolling down a huge lol lol

That is an excellent idea if we can managge to have a custom tab or more for our property. I mean. We have Windows, right? (or whatever that apple uses ;p) Right click - Send to....

When we have a lot more ship but we wanna use few with temporary duties then we can only rely on the message board which isnt so obvious. I mean we can not decide which ever gets in the message log or we can not read any choosed messages. Only step by step, so we have to close the current if we wanna see the rests....

Set "this" ship type to "custom name" tab on property menu

On screen, highlighted property
An autohide(, if that possible,) area of your screen where you can have real time feedback about any of your choosen property. I can live with some limitations about the ammount of highlights there but i really wish to see if my currently selected remote forces under attack. I don't wanna open the map and lose mouse control of the game just to see their shield/hull status and current running commands.

What I have always wanted to be able to do is create hiearchies of assets - kind of similar to your idea.

But apply it to all ships as well as stations etc.

Expand / collapse button right beside your list of property
Highlight ships in property menu
Short by .....
Resize, maximise minimise is all in "there". I mean in your desktop ;p
I will be happy even for to use the standard windows-frame.
