Terran Plot: Espionage Mis: Terran TP do not board

IN my DiD game, after Eyes and Ears, I was asked to escort 3 TP ships during boarding operation, but the 3 ships just sit there not moving. In the mean time, the Terran ships were pounding on the Invincible TL. I have eliminate all Split ships, except the TL.

I can't board the TL either, as it is invincible!!!

Looks like I am stuck, and as this is a DiD game, I have no save game to revert to!!! Start over time :-(

Most times if you just sit on SETA the mission times out and it completes. There are rare times when you can wait an hour and nothing happens.

Ive never actually seen the CPU Ship boarded in the 10 times Ive completed the Terran Plot.

Other things you could try are leaving the sector - not sure if there's a fail for this - but being OOS sometimes gets ships moving again.

The other thing is to destroy the TP's, they're not invincible, and if too few exist new ones should be created and their move position command reissued.

Tried that. The new ones just sit there, they do nothing.

I have started a new game.

Too late now if you've started a new game, but one more thought just came to mind... Tractor beam, and tow the TL to the TPs :P

Might work, as the mission checks the distance between TP ad TL to trigger next step, if it could be towed close enough....
