Game Stutter & Keyboard Fails

Hello,

I am running patch 3.1 (the latest one) and I have set the graphics to medium and turned off all the fancy stuff. The game runs fine but after 10 minutes or so it suddenly stutters and the keyboard stops working (apart from the directional buttons). I can still use the mouse but the game becomes unplayable. I have no additional scripts installed. My report is as follows -

Try updating your graphic and sound drivers, they're a bit old.

Well I have updated drivers now but still have the fault. This seems to be triggered by something as it happens at different times into a game. I played 2hrs yesterday fine, no problems...20 minutes today and it started playing up. It seems to happen when I use the keyboard. The game just stutters and most of my keyboard stops working apart from my directional keys. I just dock using the joystick, save game, exit and open it up again where it will work fine again for x amount of time.

Have you tried plugging in a different keyboard and if so, are the results the same?

Did you try getting the latest drivers for the Cyborg X joystick? Not sure if there are recent ones as the website doesn't say.

Have you tried playing the game for a while with the joystick unplugged?
Come watch me on Twitch where I occasionally play several of the X games
