[X3 R] Rank points
Okay, there are plenty of posts & help documents to say you need so many paoints for such a rank.
So my question is, what exactly constitutes a race point.
I know that trading, doing missions & killing enemies increase rank, but by how much?

The points awarded are consistent irrespective of what rank you are at. The percentage change this amounts to changes as the number of points required to progress to the next rank increases each time, same as most games that involve levelling (I think the top rank starts at 300 odd thousand and goes to a million - so a few percentage change at top rank would be the equivalent of several early ranks!!).
There was a table from X3R somewhere, but I'm not sure if there's one for X3TC. Probably similar anyway. I'll have a look and if I find it, post it in here...

Thanks for the help.
I was typinig about X3 Reunion
I have seen the rank tables where the ranks are listed, for example
Rank 1 - 333,333 - 1,000,000
Rank 10 - 10 - 33
Rank 15 - -1,000 - -33,333
[The points in this are just for illustration purposes only]
My question sort of equates to
If I sell 1,000 silicon wafers, how many points is that?
If if kill an Xenon m, how many points is that?
If I complete a "take me from here to there, careful of the xenon" mission, how many points is that?
Which sort of things increase the rank points the most.
Hope this clarifies the question. Thanks

I was referring to a list of rank points for each ship (ie an M2 enemy ship gives you this many, an M6 this many, etc).
Not idea about the mission rewards tho...

That's the table I'm refering to, but I was asking how the game allocates the 'points' for each rank and race.
I have only just restarted after scrounging many better parts for my system, so humble trader, in for about 3 game hours with about 200k crs, and a purchased dolpin, so at the moment can't afford the donation route.
But if theres a certain random factor, and is also adjusted dependant on current rank, then I understand that the question has no definitive answer.
Thanks for the explaination folks.
