Collision Library
Installation:
Simply install it as fakepatch. If you don't know how to install it as fakepatch, check out the tutorial sticky in the Egosoft X3TC Script&Modding forum
The spreadsheet is not important if you dont plan to mod, ignore/delete it.
Usage for Modders:
See Collision Avoidance Tutorial.
The spreadsheet shows the (shortened) name of the shipmodel (not the shipname) and the collisionbox it uses, as further reference for you.
The ships that are not in vanilla refere to XTC models (V1.1).
You do not have to download the mod to use them obviously, they are just to give you some additional reference if you have the mod.

You are free to use the modlibrary with the collision boxes in your mod (by either using it as external library or by modifying it for your purpose), as long as credit is given.

Collision Avoidance Tutorial
During XTC development we had big problems with this stuff. After long trial&error&head-on-keyboard we finally figured out a way to solve it by using the system that Egosoft made for it.
Requirements for understanding the tutorial:
-How to modify/create scenes
-How to modify/build X3 ships with gmax/3dsmax
-Basic understanding of the .bod file-structure
