[SCRIPT] Move and Rotate Objects

This is a port of the script I wrote for X3TC. A very powerful little tool that allows you to move (and rotate) pretty much any object in the game.

:arrow: Move Jump gates.
:arrow: Align mines in an "up" position.
:arrow: Move and rotate ANY object (Ships, asteroids, stations, gates, etc.).

:!: Works on your ship's current target.

You can have your new stations dropped off anywhere in the sector. No need to worry about placement. Then use these hotkeys to position it exactly where you want it. You can even move/rotate stations that are already part of a complex. I strongly suggest reading the enclosed Readme.txt file.

Also includes a hotkey for changing how much the object moves/rotates per key press. Default is a very small move. Press the key you have assigned and you will hear a voice say "1,000", "5,000", "10,000" etc and then it will cycle back again.

Yes, playing X3:R in 2012 :wink:

This is great! A bit cheat-y, but I play for fun and even with some of the great space tractor / advanced tractor beam scripts out there, moving asteroids remains a giant pain in the ass. This script simplifies it tremendously.

One note--less for the author and more for those like me picking up this great script years down the line--is that moving stations within complexes does NOT move the tubing as is claimed in the read-me. The station is moved but the tubes remain in place. I'm not sure if it breaks the complex as I hate the look of it and never bothered to find out before reloading. Note I am running X3:R 2.5 with several other scripts so it may just be me.

At any rate, a huge thanks to the script author.

Nice work Graxter...A question though, Is it compatible with XTM mod? coz i installed the SPK ,the moving and the rotation works but to
The connecting tubes will act like rubber bands and adapt to whatever position you choose.
this i never managed or seen...Does anybody tried that and figured out how to move/rotate the station with the tubes too?...Still,great job..i love that we get to move/rotate everything:)
