Can a TL (accidentally said TP, sorry!) also carry a bunch of my ships if I want to move / buy a factory and carry over the ships as well?

Also... I've forgotten how to use Advanced Sattelites. I thought they had "video" capabilities. But if I select them when I'm in a different sector, I don't see anything through my monitors. What did I forget? :)

I'm not sure what you mean by "a TP carry a bunch of my ships...". if you meant a TL, then yes the TL can dock TP, TS, and all fighter classes, in addition to carrying facories and commodities.

The advanced satellites don't really have that kind of video capability. When you're in sector with an advanced satellite also in that sector and you pull up the sector map, then you can press k to toggle the standard sector map with the "video" ability to see where the nebulae are in that sector.

how do I get my ships to "dock" or "load" onto the TL?

TL can carry a limited number of fighters (how much depends on the TL) in their hangar, that is all.

How do I load them into the TL?

No, you couldn't. Tolwyn, if you'd specified this TL was a hired one to start with there would have been less confusion--sorry, you can't do what you want to do with a hired TL, you'll need to get to the point where you've bought your own for that.
