The coordinate system in the X games comprises 3 axes. These consist of X, Y and Z.

These coordinates are displayed in the lower right corner of the sector map. All coordinate locations are displayed in meters from the centre of the system. With X = 0, Y = 0 and Z = 0 being the exact centre of the system.

When first opening the Sector Map, the default view is from above.

When using the coordinate system in the default view, the following would apply

X = West / East
Y = Up/ Down
Z = North / South

When using the coordinate system in the Rotated view (default being the ‘insert’ key), the same axes would apply, only the view perspective changes. Consider yourself at the South end of the sector looking North.

The coordinates for any object or position in the sector can be found using the orientation keys (default keys are num pad arrow keys) or Up / Down arrow keys for quick Station / Ship selection.

For those who might be confused, there are 2 systems of co-ordinates.

X - Y are a flat plane, with Z being Up/Down from that plane.

X - Z are a flat plane, with Y being Up/Down from that plane.

Egosoft chose to use the latter, although the former is probably more widely understood and accepted.

There is no Why to this. Its just the way it is in the game and cannot be changed.

Das Koordinatensystem in den X-Spielen umfasst drei Achsen. Dies sind die X-, Y- und Z-Achse.

Die Koordinaten werden in der rechten unteren Ecke der Sektorkarte in Metern (m) ausgehend vom Mittelpunkt des Sektors angezeigt. Der genaue Mittelpunkt des Sektors ist X = 0, Y = 0 und Z = 0.

Wenn die Sektorkarte geöffnet wird, ist die Standardansicht von oben.
In der Standardansicht des Koordinatensystem trifft das folgende zu

X = West / Ost
Y = Hoch/ Runter
Z = Nord / Süd

Wenn das Koordinatensystem in der rotierten Sicht genutzt wird (standardmäßig umschaltbar über die "Einfg"-Taste), sind die Achsen immer noch die gleichen, nur die Perspektive ändert sich. Stelle dir vor, du würdest dich am südlichen Ende des Sektors nach Norden blickend befinden.

Die Koordinaten jedes Objekts oder jeder Position im Sektor können über die Nummernfeldtasten oder über die Pfeiltasten Hoch / Runter, zur schnellen Stations- / Schiffsauswahl, herausgefunden werden.

Für diejenigen die jetzt verwirrt sind, es gibt zwei Koordinatensysteme.

X - Y ist eine flache Ebene, Z beschreibt die Richtung Hoch/Runter ausgehend von dieser Ebene.

X - Z ist eine flache Ebene, Y beschreibt die Richtung Hoch/Runter ausgehend von dieser Ebene.

Egosoft entschied sich letzteres zu verwenden, obwohl ersteres wahrscheinlich öfter genutzt wird. Es gibt keine Begründung, warum sich Egosoft so entschieden hat. Es ist einfach die Art, wie es im Spiel ist und kann nicht geändert werden.

Il sistema di coordinate nei giochi di X comprende 3 assi: X, Y e Z.

Queste coordinate sono mostrate nell'angolo in basso a destra della mappa del settore. Tutte le coordinate sono espresse in metri dal centro del sistema. Dunque X = 0, Y = 0 e Z = 0 sono l'esatto centro del sistema.

Inizialmente, all'apertura della Mappa del Settore, la visuale di default è dall'alto.

Quando si usa il sistema di coordinate nella visuale di default, vale il seguente:

X = Ovest / Est
Y = Su / Giù
Z = Nord / Sud

Vista del settore dall'alto verso il basso:


Quando si usa il sistema di coordinate con la visuale rotata (il tasto di default è "Insert"), valgono gli stessi assi, solo che la prospettiva cambia. Considerati come se fossi al Sud del settore guardando verso Nord.

Le coordinate per ogni oggetto o posizione nel settore possono essere trovate usando i tasti per l'orientazione (i tasti di default sono le frecce del tastierino numerico) o i tasti Su / Giù per selezionare rapidamente una Nave o una Stazione.

Per coloro che potrebbero essere confusi, ci sono 2 sistemi di coordinate.

X - Y sono un piano, mentre Z rappresenta la direzione Su / Giù rispetto a quel piano.

X - Z sono un piano, mentre Y rappresenta la direzione Su / Giù rispetto a quel piano.

La Egosoft ha scelto di usare quest'ultimo, sebbene il primo sia probabilmente compreso e accettato maggiormente.

Non c'è un motivo preciso. È semplicemente il sistema usato nel gioco e non può essere cambiato.
