I just bought X3 TC and have played it for a month. It was very tough at first but I stuck with it and now love it. My question is have I missed a lot of the story from Reunion?
Also I have a disk for the Bala gi missions. Can I load that without losing my current game?

Not really. You may want to have a look at the The Ultimate X resource and guides list for a walkthrough of the X3:R plot, which will give you an overview about what happens there.

Bala Gi Missions are only available in X3: Reunion, not in X3TC.
By the way, this is the X2 Scripts and Modding Forum. You should try the X-Universe Forum next time, if you have general questions regarding X3R and X3TC.
