i heard that finishing the x3 story campaign will grant access to earth sector in reunion, is this true?

No, finishing the Terran plot in Terran Conflict will grant you access to Earth. The final mission in Reunion sees the X universe and the Terrans reconnected, with the Terrans telling the Commonwealth in no uncertain terms they are not welcome in Terran space

You do get to go to earth one time during the plot though, but it's basically a cutscene.

However, that does not prevent the player from showing the Terrans -- in very certain terms -- who is the boss.


Some X3R mod probably adds a sector called "Earth", but that is a S&M topic.

I believe the Xtended mod added some Terran sectors. As jlehtone said, that's a question to ask in the S&M forum.

Actually, there is no earth sector in vanilla X3:Reunion. The gate in Heritics End is just a prop and all the other stuff you see is just cut scene movies.

The Terran ships in Heritics End are a very fast way of getting X-TREME fight rank.

Spoilers for Reunion don't matter anymore I don't think. They've deleted the spoiler forum for Reunion, though the TC one remains.

It doesn't make a whole helluva lot of difference though since if you've played TC then you know that the terrans are now reconnected to the commonwealth and so anyone who will play reunion for the first time on the superbox will know how it ends anyway.
