I am new to the X3:TC game (actually, new to the whole X-Universe!). I started out as a Terran Defender, but I'd like to do a few taxi missions early on. I can't seem to find any place around Uranus, Jupiter, Neptune, or Saturn where I can buy a Cargo Life Support system. Can someone tell me where to buy one of these? I can't carry passengers without it. Sad

I'd suggest that you buy a TP class ship instead. TP ships come equipped with CLS and have an advantage over other CLS-equipped ships in that some wealthy individuals might refuse to be transported in a "cargo bay". They would accept a pickup only if you arrive in a TP.

true, with the exception of that boron "Angel" - I'm wondering every time I buy one of those, why the heck it does not have the CLS equipped Evil or Very Mad

I don't normally do the taxi missions, but I do enjoy a good high paying transport mission. For those I like to use the X-Shuttle, which gives it a use for me I guess.

I love it when a good complex comes together. Actually putting it together however, is a big pain in the butt.

Its life support, so it might not just give air, but water too depending on the setting Smile

The Terran Scabbard is better anyway. More shielding faster and it has better weapons and missiles than any other TP. And it comes equipped with the CLS. If you buy it at The Moon you can save some time too getting it a jump drive and some energy by running it to the Torus. If you haven't attained earth access then buy it at the shipyards and run it to the asteroid belt where you can use a TM to transfer it a jump drive from Legend's Home (which you can access prior to completing the terran plot.)
