Memia AutoScan Sector
An AL Plugin for Terran Conflict and Albion Prelude that automatically scans a sector, revealing all objects within it.

Background
When starting a new game I found it very dull to have to re-explore the universe and, particulary, explore every part of each sector, so I made this little script to make life easier.

How to Use
Ensure that the plugin is turned on (see Installation below).
When you fly into a sector the content of the sector will automatically be revealed to you.

Asteroids, stations and gates will all be revealed. Note that asteroid yields will not be revealed (you can't have it all).

The plugin only works on the Player's current ship. It may take up to 60 seconds for the sector to be revealed.

Installation
To use, simply install the SPK and then ensure the plugin is switched on in the Artificial Life plugin section (Gameplay -> Artificial Life Settings -> Memia AutoScan Sector).

Download
Download the SPK from here:

Thanks! This script is making my life much easier! Specially in some very foggy sectors where manual identification of asteroids / factories is impossible.

Have a look at the other Memia script threads. I posted a link on them as to where you can find a copy of the other scripts, so they are probably on the same page somewhere

You should that for the Memia freight scanner, you need to unpack the SPK and edit out the scan in Goner sectors freely. Otherwise when you are in Goner sectors you'll lose Goner/Argon rep very quickly. Alternatively you can eject your freight scanner before going into the sector.

The Sector/Asteroid scanners from Memia have no issues, they're great.

Quick question, is there an alternate download link for this? I get a timeout if I try to download it.

The link works, but not if you left-click it.

Nnno, it still times out. I'm guessing the whole http://x3tc.memia.biz/ site the mod is hosted on is down or something?

Hi All,
Apologies that the download links went offline. My old site got taken down by a DoS attack on the server it was hosted by.

I've got a new site online and have updated the original download links.

The new site is available at http://www.memiasx.com.

I would appreciate it if other links to my downloads are now removed (although I totally understand why people provided them).

Thanks,
M

Update to Version 1.10
Also allows disabling of the plugin through the AL plugin configuration menu.

Hi,

I'm not getting the mod to show up in Artificial Life settings, I've tried enabling the mod in the Plugin Manager for TC and AP when playing the X-tended 2.2 experimental version for AP and nothing.

EDIT:
It's showing now, go figure...
