The Shadowtech Super Carrier: Now Available for Download

The Shadowtech Super Carrier is now avalible at both:
XScripting in Mod/Ships area
Commander Jamieson's Site (Thanks man)
Look in Downloads/X2 Editor Scripts/X2 Editor Scripts under Ship Scripts.

From the readme:

Shadowtechs Super Carrier Ver 1.0:

18 Guns
Docks 130 Ships (M3, M4, M5, Tp, and Ts's)
Can Transport Stations
Handles Like a Corvette
This ship is intended to be your Flagship :twisted:

This mod adds the Shadowtech Super Carrier to the game.
There are 3 versons of the super carrier:

1. HQ Mod- This verson adds the Shadowtech Super carrier combined with the HQ Mod by OlisJ

2. Stand alone Super Carrier- This adds the super Carrier Only

3. HQ Mod and Shield Mod Version: The BEST version :) This adds the shadowtech super Carrier AND the HQ Mod AND My Improved shields Mod. Also It makes the HQ "Look" like a Xenon Shipyard in apperance. :xenon: Also:

Adds:
5 MW shield
25 MW Shield
50 MW Shield
75 MW Shield
150 MW Shield

It is HIGHLY Recommended to start a new game if useing the third choice though not nessesary.

ALL VERSONS CONTAIN THE FOLLOWING:

Xenon J fix- Fixes the Xenon Carrier so it is not a "ghost"

My Improved Lasers- Adds improved Capital weapons (PPC's) as well as modified PSG's, also increases the speed of all weapons, IF YOU DO NOT WANT THIS CHANGE Do not add TLasers and TBullets.

A Script to add the Shadowtech Super Carrier to the game. (modified someone elses script, if its yours let me know and Ill give you the credit)

A Tutorial on how to unpack your game.

Ship in game is called the Shadowtech Super Carrier with description, however the game will still audibly call it the "Xenon I". All in game text is changed to reflect all changes.

PPSS..Guess I should mention that this version of the the Super Carrier looks like the Argon Colossus (The coolest looking carrier IMO)

***UPDATE***

There will be a Add-on comeing for those of you who prefer the Split Raptor to the Argon Colossus.

Add Raptor Preference

Add Homebase Headquarters Sector for Player (Currently called Shadowtechs Realm :P ) I may re-name it to "Your Home Sector" or something like that.

Will change name from "Shadowtechs Super Carrier" to "Shadowtechs Flagship"

Will remove script to add ship to game and have Ship sold at a Shipyard, to make ship "Fair" so obviously will sell for allot of money since it has the power of a Destroyer, the carrying capacity of a carrier and the Power of a TL.

Most everything is done already, just need to throw it all together and add the ship to a shipyard.

Well at least the stats look awesome...

I can't get it to work however, as I would need to "fix" the Xenon J. And for this you say to copy the original v1.0 files off the game CD...

trouble is, i'm in England and the Europe version of the game shipped as v1.2 :/

Well looks like I have to make do with my 17 gun Raptor fitted with Khaak Ion Beams then :) Shame as i would really like to see the Xenon J ship, it sounds superb.

The Xenon J "fix" is included with the mod, so theres no need to fix anything, ALL versions of the mod have this fix included. :wink:

Also this version looks like the Argon Colossus, Though if you prefer the Raptor, I could make a Raptor Add-on...

That's where I looked for it, but all I see at the bottom of Ship Scripts is "Pirate M6 Spawner V1 by Trilon"

Its right below that ship. Try refreashing the page or deleteing your Internet cashe if its not showing up.

Its called:
Shadowtech's Super Carrier including HQ mod, Xenon J fix and Shield mod. 1.6MBs

Hmm I dont know what I may be doing wrong, but when I add in the Xenon I, it just looks exactly the same as an Argon Collossus. is this how its meant to be?

Yes It uses the Argon Colossus, The Xenon J is a bad ship to use because though it is fixed, if you use it you cannot undock if you transfer to a landed ship, the doors dont open, you would have to launch the ship then transport over. So I used the Argon Colossus sinse IMO its the coolest looking Carrier though the Split Raptor is a close second.
