Hi everyone.

I heard much of the program Magix Music Maker and wanted to try it, so I downloaded the demo of version 12. I played a bit with my creativity and arranged a song, so I bought the full version and continued my work. The final outcome was a song that totally impressed me and so I decided to release it for everyone to listen. The song first was called "All Battle's End", but I was told that song's melody is getting stronger and some sort of a big boom is expected, so the name doesn't fit and therefore I decided to rename it to "Where Hope Dies" which fits better.

Here the song: Belisarius - Where Hope Dies

I don't know really in which genre I can put this, so I'd say it's some sort of epic symphony. Feel free to comment it, so I can read your opinion about it.

I'm currently working on a second song using more violins to make it sound more Irish that I like so much. Now some infos about the track's length and so on:

Length: 4:48 minutes
Filesize: 6,59
Bitrate: 192 kBit/s

Are we supposed to evaluate its merit as a free standing musical piece or as something that might play as a X-universe's in sector ambiance?

music maker is a real good tool imo. easy to use and you get good results quick

try hooking in a keyboard and let your talent fly

Nice song, Belisarius. Very good. I tried using MAGIX Music Maker quite a bit, but only really tried the demos. I've got a very old version of it and was looking at buying the new one, but you've quite honestly made something much better than I could ever possibly try.

It's nice music and I think it's fits the X-theme quite well...

, really... but try to record the music not too loud... i've detectec massive clipping in the track (tip: mp3 gain will help).
