Awesome! Thanks! Is there something I need to do to make it compatible with AP? I'm using 1.46 and installed the ship, but I don't see it listed in the ship menu using the cheat plugin.

Use the create ship menu & set the filter to M2, you should see it near the top of the list.

That's what I expected, but this is the list I see in-game.
Is it supposed to be called Federation Sovereign or something like that?

A lot of ships don't show up in AP... I don't know why. They mostly/all show up in TC

Yes it shows up as "Federation Soveren Class"
Try opening the addon/types/tships.pck file with X3 Editor 2 & see if the ship has been added to the end of the list.

I've had similar problems, as well as ongoing (but different).
Some ships don't show up in the list (through the Cheat mod by Cycrow).
Others show up, but are invisible when they're in-game.
I've had some conflicting with others, and a few don't work for AP period. It's frustrating as crud. I wish someone would make some kind of program that you can put all the ships in at once, and it'd say which ones are compatible or not. Oh well though. I don't have the ability to, so I won't nag about anything.
My persisting problem is with the Xtra mod pack for Albion Prelude. I got a fresh Albion Prelude install, I follow the instructions (copy the "Addon" folder into the main directory) and merge. I then launch the game. When I get in, I bring up Cycrow's cheat mod like normal. No ships, nothing new. I'm using the Albion Prelude Ships-Only version. TC Ships-Only works fine (Using that for now).

Not sure, but I think that might be not a problem of the Plugin Manager but of how AP handles the files included in the xsp files. I personally extract the xsps and create fake patches from those files and I realized that ships that are made of more than 1 part often cause problems. So for example I imported the Delta Flyer (1 part) and the Intrepid Class (~5 or 6 parts). Same directories for the all the files and everything was thesame. But DF was imported correctly, Intrepid won't show up

Do you have issues with the weapon loadout changing randomly?
I equip all the turrets manually, but during battle the weapons tend to change randomly even as I have the weapons menu open I can see it change.
It seems to move stuff around and unequip things without rhyme or reason. Sometimes I'll open the weapons loadout and see several turrets with only one laser equipped.

Sorry, no idea. But since the turrets are originally made for Reunion I don't know whether the Plugin Manager can change that to TC/AP turrets. Personally I only use Star Trek ships and I always change the turrets to my own phaser turret or to standard khaak turret befor importing the ships.
Same might be with misplaced cockpit positions. Some ships use their own cockpits, but not all of them have a components file included (that seems to be the problem with the Premonition I think).

Very nice list here, added a few to my AP custom mod Im playing...but....a BSG Defender capable of 9gig in shied and 30 fighters.....for 13 mi? Thats the same price as a corvete, too easy, had to remove it too temping to cheat make it 53mil, then its closer to other ships

Then change the price or stats to what you want. It is beyond easy to modify the properties of the ship (when it is in the nice .xsp format as in this list), including whatever price you would like, before you insert it into the game.

when there was a separate ship creator I Had a lot of fun with it, since some ships got the raw end I thought, but with the new manager its supposedly all built in and I have never done a single ships since, some of us are just not computer people I guess. So I haven't a clue how the ship editor works, since my version is 1.45 I think and its not listed anywhere I could find.

Download the latest version of the plugin manager.

Open the .xsp ship in the Package Creator. Click on the "ship data" tab. Click the "customize ship" button. Change what you want. Save the file. Insert it into the game.

The creator works the same as the old version.
the differences is that theres no longer seperate programs for creating script packages and ship packages.
but loading a ship into the ship creator u'll find the inteferace is the same (or at least close enough)
