Hey Cadius, would it be possible to make the Longsword MK2 (AKA Normandy SR-2) able to dock at stations by using the spots for large ships (like what super freighters use)?

It's annoying having to undock my N to dock at most stations and leaving the Longsword sitting in space.

Well you could do the same thing to Atlas/Otas models that you did to Saitama and other Nexus ships. You know Mig-15 was quite similar to USA Sabre but still a diffrent design Wink

I have a small request, since we have very nice remodelled fighter drones how about remodelling that old Lastertower or at least giving proper textures instead of ugly ones from X2 ?

Oh and also, how about giving the Longsword MK2 more compatible weapons. The fusion beam is nice but it can be a bit unwieldy.

Besides - "The Space Cucumber" looks more like Homeworld 2 Vaygr design than the ship from Conceptart.

That would require dropping of it's class from M7 to an M6 and shrinking of the ship so it doesn't collide with the stations when docking, also it needs to be small enough to fit in internal M6 docks. Meaning the size needs to be around the Naginata at the most. Couldn't you just use the Mk1 instead? That's gotta be a drawback to using the stronger ship (and bigger) ship.

Rip cucumber. Lol

I was looking forward to collecting fruit ships. Cucumber vs pinapple of doom.

Anyway thanks again for all your work. Question for tou cad, kvasir is an amazing model, is it one of yours? If so what was your inspiration?

Yes the Kvasir is mine. It was inspired by a ship mod for Freespace 2, the ship was called the Amaterasu I think. It inspired the idea for those solar panel fins under the ship.

EDIT: correction, the ship was called the Typhoon.

Also, I finished FS1 & 2 again after marathoning over the weekend. It gave me some ideas. The Khaak TL can be based on the design of the SG Rahu, and a new Hive Queen could take a similar shape of the SF Mara. Also, I'll be making some new OTAS fighters based on my favorite FS ships.
