The Boron Supremacy (working title) Prologue.

I have just started to write a story that I want to share with everyone here. Have been playing X3TC for a couple weeks now, and I got inspired by some ideas. Little did I know, I wasn't the only one - finding many other great ideas here.

The Boron Supremacy I know is unoriginal, but that is the working title, until I think of something else.

Here is my prologue to whet your appetite. The main body of the story starts days before this event.

PROLOGUE:

The green tinted sun gently set over mountainous terrain, casting oblique shadows from the towering obelisks surrounding the Boron Royal Temple. Captain Enzo Lear was wishing the sunsets on his home planet of Earth would last Eight hours. Eight hours of romance and beauty that of which he thought of sunsets on any planet he has visited. Enzo gazed upon the shining jewel that was Queen Menelalus, of Boron. Of Boron – yes. He could not believe his fortune, for within a matter of days he found himself here on Boron Prime witnessing the swearing in of a Queen that would lead her people, replacing the electoral government that was in place for centuries. He wondered what would happen to their society – what their enemies would bring. Only time would tell. He gazed back to his crew – or, what was left of them. They knew it was time to leave. He could have nothing more to do with these Boron – just to keep a watch and continue his mercenary lifestyle.

“Let us return to our ship”, said Enzo; “we have a Christening to do!”


And here starts the adventure. How will this story unfold? Exciting I hope!! Expect action, suspense, and perhaps even some espionage.

Are we going to have the Boron Identity and Boron Ultimatum as well?

Oh, I thinkt he Boron home planet is called Planet Boron, not Boron Prime. But other than that, it's good.

Oh, and you do realise they live underwater?

Hey, I try to make it as good as I can relying on the in-game Encyclopedia and my imagination. I don't expect it to be fully accurate, but who will?. As for the title, I plan to rename it appropriately as I write the story.

as member of the supreme gouvernment, I'm authorised to indicate, that Borons live under water, like you were already informed by the Emperor. Hail the Emperor!
The name of the Boron home world is Nishala (see novel Farnham's Legend).
The prologue is nice written, but somehow a bit too short.

I don't expect it to be fully accurate, but who will?

I would suspect someone explaining this:

would be trying to be fully accurate.
