3 Fan art Fighters.

Here are three pieces of fan art for your enjoyment. 3 redesigns based on the XTension game. The idea was to redesign the ships with modern design in mind. Update the ships byt keeping the same pattern. Ive had these on my HD for ages, but never put them on the forum until now.

1st: Pirate Mandalay redesign.

Impressive! The Bayamon and the L are really stunning work and the L has a mean shape, definitely appropriate for that ship.

The heart at the Mandalay is quite... unique.

Can you build these ships also in 3D, means making modells of them?

Sadly im a 2d artist rather than 3d, however i am open to anyone who wants a crack at it.

Could you please tell what software did you use for the Bayamon?

I'm a fan of the L! it just gives a xenon-feeling

with some minor changes the bayamon might look like a good kha'ak-ship - at least it reminds me somehow of those we're using for Pandora

have you got more ideas?

Easy, Photoshop Elements 6, airbrush at various sizes and opacity levels.
