You have to start over, but are tired of playing through the plots? Well this one solves your problems, you get a Cutlass as Start ships and all pre 2.0 Plots complete.
This time though your aunt wants you to make sure you are up to it so there are a few simple tasks to do before you get you inheritance.
Installation:
1. Extract rar into X3TC mods folder
2. In splash screen select mod LuckyHeir_2.0_EN (Or whatever localisation ending you have)
3. Start game and select Start "Lucky Heir"
Note: you can also use as fake patch, rename and move accordingly.
Modifications:
mdfiles.xml
start.xml
gamestarts.xml
3.02 Plot Missions.xml
9130-L0*.xml (depending on Localisation)

This is brilliant. Thanks for putting it together.
The first documented attempt in human history to use a rocket for spaceflight
was made in the 16th century by a Chinese Ming dynasty official named Wan Hu.
The resultant explosion presumably killed him.
After many data loses, reinstalls and OS re-formats I'm really tired of doing the same old Terran plot over and over; oh how I hate the last mission in Aldrin, when your Vidar decides to jump right at the opposite side of the asteroid and you have to cruise a ridiculously huge, dull and laggy sector to continue the mission... Now I understand why they decided to put the SATA in the game.
Yeah well a custom t-file would have required a script for loading it, since I suck at scripting I skipped that.
Anywho I might change that in future updates, there are also some minor stuff that I want to do differently, mosty related to how ES plots trigger, but that in next update.
Excellent, might try this out once I do the HUB plot (read: cheat my way past that ridiculous excuse for a time-sink) and start anew with lots of new scripts.
A suggestion though: when including cat/dat files in an archive, name them something like "rename to next highest number.cat/dat" It just saves some small but annoying time unzipping and copy-pasting things.
I've downloaded your "Lucky Start"" file placed the 10.cat folders in the X3TC directory (I had changed to higher number) as instructed on your download/Install post.
As you said in the instructions start the game select lucky start and play well for some reason ether i'm missing it or its not showing where is the Lucky Start on my game start and no it not in the custom game part ether.
If you installed any in 'unpacked' mode, then youll have to check the x3 folder and manually remove them (unless the plugin manager does that.... hell, i havent played x3 in too long)
Heya. If you take this start, do you get a modified tag ?
I'm going to prepare to play a DID completely unmodified game (not even MARS *sniff*) and this seems like a reasonable start. I do hate all those plots after you've done them a dozen times (Aside of the HUB, I only got that one done once )
Else I will just pick up the "Humble Merchant" start again
Edit: Just installed it and it does give a ***Modified*** tag, for those that want to know.
Maybe. Depends how much experience you have with that kind of stuff.
I personally wouldnt mind it not done; I like having random khaak places... but then again, there is a script command 'change khaak aggression level', perhaps ill just figure out what that does
