ok it took me 15 game days to make my first billion. And now I can make a billion in less than a day. I want to know how long it took you to become a billionaire as a way to see how well I have done. Currently I have 1.3 billion and am planning a massive building program to finish squashing the boron. Appropriate material for this thread does consist of bragging as long as you really do have over a billion credits without using money cheats you can post here. Billionairs who scripted in thier cash will not be recognized as "legitimante billionairs"

I started as the bankrupt assassin and now i could buy whatever I want... but then i wouldn't have my billion!! And i would have to "work." ... go capping arrg!!

I've been flying for 37 G-days, but I don't remember when I broke my first $bil. I don't really have much; about $20 bil stored in stations and I keep about $1 bil in pocket change. Yes, all vanilla.

About 8 game-days saw me my first billion through combat alone.

X-Treme at 11.5 game-days, only takes around 7-8 missions for each billion.

Well if you are like me and got TC when it first came out. It was very easy to make a billion very quickly, with those build station missions that net you 100 million plus for a single mission. Those early days funded my weapon, shield and missile complexes and paid for my first M7M, which I bought with some lose change.

I play the game off and on, and the missions are earning less now, especially the build missions, so ten build station jobs, could make a billion easily, before I upgraded to 2.5. Now they average an approximate 7 - 12 million. I prefer 2.5 as it seems more work is needed.

About three game days. Did it by stacking single secter patrol missions against Xenon ontop of TC's version of XI missions. Two hours of total mayhem raked in 200-300 Million. This was done under V2.0 rules.

Around Seven game days. Xtreme rank at around 11 game days.

Similar to others- many, many stacked patrol missions, with some proceds going into UT's and a few Megaplex's.

Game started in 1.4, but I never did build missions.

14 gamedays or something like this and i never reached 1bil ...
i spend it once i have enough money.
1 new panther + 20 chimera; or 3 tiger~ 100m ; weapons for free (big weapon complexes)...
doesn't make sense to me to sit on a huge pile of money if you don't use it.

probably around game day four or five for the first billion, currently approaching game day eighteen and have in excess of fourteen billion in cash at my disposal,

Less than two game days to amass my first billion, currently sitting on about 22bil ATM (game day 11). Also have spent close to 3bil on ships and megaplex's.

It pretty simple once you get the ball rolling after you build up some decent starting funds. Money just seems to snowball. starts as a trickle then speeds up quickly and before you know it your just ignoring building more becuase you don't really need the cash for anything(currently getting 50mil from factories and about double that from UTs per hour) I now only really build what I will consume myself like missiles and leave cash in my stations.

Note: Not really that high in the billionares club in this game(billion on me and another billion and half in my stations), but that mainly cuase I don't really have a need for more to be coming in. Also my start was different so I started tradin right off and built up most of what I am getting my cash from now in the first couple of game days

wow lots of responces and good info. And by legitimate billionairs I mean people who didn't script in the money. So it's nice to know others have much more money than me. 22,000,000,000 is impressive and reinghns in at the high watermark today using the honer system and of course no one would want to dishonor themselves by lying. I myself and just barely staying in this forum having spent 250 M on construction on game day 22.
