X3R & X3TC (not sure about X2)
If by upgrade you mean the rate it speeds up time - you don't.
Instead the SETA speed is an option under the game settings.
WARNING:
Using the Auto-pillock while on SETA x10 can be hazardous to your health.
The higher the speed, the more the autopilot becomes likely to slam you into another object; especially in built up systems

no worries - I personally have only had it happen to me twice in many hours of play; and both those times I was in small fast ships; but since then I never trust SETA & Autopilot for such systems as OreBelt (where I became a small spot on a large roid in a kestral) or Home of Light (where I become a disco-bug on the windshield of an Argon M1)
I always use SETA x10, I just don't use the auto-pillok. Even in Ore belt SETA x10 is relatively safe if you point your ship in the general direction you want to go, making sure there's clear space between roids, then hit SETA until you're closer to your goal. Then just pop out of SETA, re-orient to point the nose next to, but not directly at the station or gate you want, then hit SETA again until you're next to your destination.
I haven't run into anything in the X Universe in years since I started using this method.

Go to options menu, game, Seta x6, then increase it to x10 (the max). It may even be in your pilot menu or the controls. But scout through and you'll find it in one of the menu's. You can set it lower or higher.Bluewulf wrote:So How do I upgrage my SETA past the 600 that you start with???
