Hello all.
Last night I put together a trailer I made for the game. I hope you enjoy it.
The video contains new and old clips from my previous videos.

It's again an improvement to your latest trailers.
I like it very much.

Positive:

- Music matches scenes/pictures
- very nice sectors (+backgrounds), ships, closeup's / flyby's, formations
- you get the nice feeling of a big war between two big sides
each of them having a very large amount of ships
- I like your ending very much. It's perfect, huge explosion, the logo comes out Smile

Negative:

- cross hair visible (disable ui?)
- needs a real intro for the beginning (first 5-10 secs) maybe introduction to your name, game etc., then start follow up with the rest of the video like now
- a few boring flyby's, needs some more "faster" scenes

Suggestions:

- I like your camera style, you using the goggles a lot, maybe a bit more something like the Battlestar Galactica realistic cam (shaking around all the time) would be nice Very Happy
- some longer, faster flyby's with huge ships
- an overview over the two big sides (and their ships) and to see how they fly to each other ---> X <----, zooming into each ships, shaking cam, big fight, huge explosion

Hi Iveco.

thank you for the input .

heres my reply to the negative's.

1. I tried everything to remove the crosshair even using classic flight mode, but its just to jerky to even consider using.
2. I did think of putting an intro in, but after hours of editing I just completely forgot tbh Smile

3. I agree , some of the shot's are a tad boring and maybe unnecessary,I think all artists/directors/people who create stuff always look back and say " yeah I could have changed that or replaced that etc" so your right there.

Suggestions:

1. I have thought about this style of camera, but until I find away of getting rid of the crosshair I doubt i'll implement it. Reason being the crosshair will be eraticly moving all over the screen thus drawing more attention to itself Sad .
2. Your absolutely right there, I was thinking this the other day, I'm working to see how I can implement this.

3. please if you have time, explain this to me alittle deeper, I think I understand where your coming from but need alittle more depth Smile

overall thank you for your input its greatly appreciated Smile

Not sure the posting dates here but I don't think I am late to respond?

I was curious, all the videos you make have a weird aspect ratio when it comes to the HD.

Are you recording in windowed mode? Or in full screen mode. When I tried recording the game I found I can take full advantage of You Tubes HD frame size when I record in full screen. Especially when I play at either 1280 by 720, or 1920 by 1080 (1280 by 720 being youtubes standard HD frame size).

It also might be good to look into the video editing program you use, the aspect ratio shouldn't be played at 4:6 or whatever the standard frame is.

16:9 I believe is the correct wide screen aspect ratio when exporting the videos in either .mov, .mpeg, or.wmv.

You Tube is incredibly picky when it comes to HD.

Hi there.
I use the slightly smaller window to save on time uploading as my upload speeds are very poor as it makes a big difference in the file size to me.

I should really render them for full use on youtube HD tbh your right.

My recording ingame is full screen btw.

Yeah youtube is picky when it comes to HD and not very user friendly unless you know what your doing.

Really good stuff. Great music (reminds me of Battlestar Galactica for some reason), nice scenes, fleet of Agamemnons is awesome, so are Tokyo scenes.

It was great and I can only say: make more please.

Not bad, though instead of using footage from your other movies, I would have kept it all brand new. Smile

I REALLY, REALLY loved the opening shot. I'm curious to know if you're interested in being a cinematographer in real life. You have been showing off some of the best camera angles I have every seen in a machinema movie.

Good work metalvenom.
