Welcome to the x1: past and future mod, this mod tries to bring new life to the game by new visually brighter colours, effects and ships. This mod also brings back ships from the previous x series, and brings in future type ships. This mod is not being created by a team of people, its just me, but any suggestions, things and comments are really helpful.

I started this mod about 2 years ago because I wanted to make a total conversion type mod however I lost interest in the xgames so I left it, now i'm back ... again. I also have a modular mod in which I create, test and experiment with ideas here: http://forum.egosoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=255791


Some key features to the mod:
- First x3tc mod to have lens flares on the engines :) {19/03/09} .
- To my knowledge the first 'x2 style' start menu.
- To my knowledge the mod is slightly built differently to any other, x2 style.

I have decided for the beta 3.0 I'm redoing the future type ships, the ones I have done are ok but the look completely different to each other or don't fit the race. I will be releasing the old ones seperatly.

Here is some concepts of the argon fighters:

I know they look very similar, but that's what I planed. This is to give the impression they are built by the same race and it makes my job a lot easier to produce high quality models quickly.

nope the last to posts are my own designs, i'm just trying to incorparate the designs styles through out the x series. There's no point showing the x2 or other ships as renders ;)

While all is fine and dandy, I think that even in X2/X-BTF the M5s were smaller than the M3s.. Your ships look the same size (Split ones at least), perhaps f you'd increase the size of the fins, the difference would bee more noticeable.

Man, I can't even remember what the X2 ships look like without looking at pictures... excepting the Centaur, the Bayomon and the Titan.

this mod is very interesting ... I "follow" your work since the first screenshots ( exactly half a year ago ) . Atm I work on the next release of Transcend II but I ask your permission for a future Italian Translation when I'll be free

Yeah, i will have a ook at how much smaller the m5 is to a m3 and see about scaling mine.

Yep you can do when you get any free time, the x1pf beta 2.0 doesn't have much to translate except a Mission Director start up message. In beta 3.0 there will be more text changes.
