New Start 30 Frigate

James woke at 5:00 felling like a kid on charismas morning with the anticipation of getting toys, His thoughts turned to the new ship he was getting a frigate with its fire power he could take the battles to the pirates, He so envisioned a time where the traders could travel space with out the fear of being attacked or taken prisoner and then sold into slavery.
But could he do it?, no he thought but start the changes that he could do. James went to get ready for the day and wondering if Thresica had gotten enough personnel to crew the ship, well if not they could still bring it back to the HQ and start the training. He brushed his teeth and shaved, put on his flight suit, then went to get his socks and boots on, he grabbed his jacket and flight bag as he departed the suite,

James walked to the lift and road it down to the cafeteria, as he walked in he saw Jeff sitting and drinking coffee, walked over and sit down,

Jeff: morning James did you sleep well?

James: morning, yes I did for a change,

The waiter walked up with a cup and filled it for James, then asked if he would like some breakfast,

James: told him what he wanted, and the waiter left

James: I hope today will start us on the road of successful raids against the pirates.

Jeff: I believe it will.

The waiter delivered Jeff’s breakfast, and departed.

James sipped on his coffee while Jeff started in on his meal.

James: we’ll escort a transport to AP and pick up the personnel there and then come back and link up with the Phoenix 3 then to KE to get the ship, then back here, hopefully before lunch.

Jeff: sounds good to me, Tracy told me she was ready and has the transport standing by, I saw Chris and Thresica leaving as I arrived they were headed to the office to meet the personnel arriving this morning.

The waiter arrived with James’ meal and placed it before him.

James: looks good thank you and the waiter left, James eat while Jeff finished his breakfast and pored more coffee for both of them,

Jeff: how’s our accounts holding up?

James: the ships have taken a large chunk out of them but the new stations in Aladna Hill are rapidly filling it back up, and the others are doing exceptionally well, Howard has acquired several contracts to place stations, and as soon as the Phoenix 2 is ready to go it has two contracts waiting, I think they will be busy for at least a Mazura.

Jeff: that is good news, Susan sent me a message that the new transports were already in use and her business has tripled.

James: from what I have seen the new ships cost will be recovered in two Mazuras or less.

Jeff: I was worried that we were moving too fast, but I guess not.

James: I worried that Mike will want to stay on the Condor and command it him self.

Jeff smiled ; You know how he likes to tinker with ships and with Sam with him they will probably find a way to make the Frigate perform as a fighter.

James just look at him and finished his meal and coffee: well lets go will see what mischief Mike and Sam have been up to.

They left the cafeteria and headed to the docking area, they were meet by Robert Gunn

Robert: morning sir I have the transport ready to go when you are.

James: we’ll be leaving in 5 Mizura, ok

Robert: yes sir will you be escorting or riding with me?

James: Escorting

Robert: very well, then headed to the transport.

Jeff was entering his ship,

James turned and headed to his, walked in: Jake prepare to undock, and he climbed into his seat.

Jake: roger, hatch secured, departure granted, undocking,

James: put on his helmet an checked the time 05:50, then checked the ship status,

Jake: departing station,

James watched as the ship left the station and headed to the jump point,

Jake: awaiting further orders.

James: prepare to jump to AP,

Jake: roger, gate notified,

James watched as the Jeff and Robert arrived, : prepare to jump on my order

Jake: roger Jump drive ready,

James: 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, Jump

The three ships disappeared and reappeared in AP,

Jake: entering sector Argon Prime, course laid in to trading station.

James: roger proceed and dock.

Jake: wilco

James checked the time 06:05 he was early but that was ok, he hoped that he would be out of here before 07:00

Jake: docking, Hatch open

James unbuckled and departed the ship, as he exited he saw at least 20 people standing on the dock, as he walked toward the group he noted that Jeff was landed and following him.

James; I am James Hawk of Hawk’s security, James saw a man heading toward him,

Andrew: Mr. Hawk I’m Andrew King, I didn’t expect the boss to meet me.

James: Andrew its good to meet you, And I wouldn’t send someone on a job I wouldn’t do my self, and I told you last night that I would see you in the morning.

Andrew: yes you did, and a man of your word.

James: looked out at the group, if your looking for a job you have come to the right place, please board the transport and we’ll go to PC where you can View the Positions and contracts.

James watched as the group boarded and Robert greeted them and showed then into the transport.

James: checked his watch 6:40,

Jeff: how much longer do you want to wait?

James: 5 Mizuras, then we undock,

Jeff: I’ll tell Robert then board my ship.

James: ok he waited 4 Mizuras then walked to his ship and boarded, : Jake lets go to PC

Jake: roger hatch secure,

James climbed into his seat and put on his helmet,

Jake: undocking, departing station,

James watched as the ship left the station, and checked the scanner for the other ships, as they were approaching the jump point James saw the Phoenix 4 appear on his scope a mere 30 KM s off to his starboard side, the cloaking shield does work he thought,

Jake: jumping in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, jumping

The three ships disappeared and reappeared in PC,

Jake; entering Power Circle, course laid in,

James watch the ship turn and head toward the HQ, then he saw the security patrols heading toward him, then turned to continue there patrol. The HQ loomed in the distance, and grew in size as he approached. The ship entered the station and landed

Jake: landing complete, hatch open.

James unstrapped and took off his helmet placed it in the copilot’s seat and exited the ship.

There standing to greet him was Thresica, Chris, and Tracy.

James: what’s up?

Thresica: were just waiting to see the new personnel.

James: well the transport is docking, they should be debarking soon.

Chris: good

Jeff arrived and joined the group: good morning

The personnel were departing the transport and James waved for them to line up , and they did as Chris, Tracy and Thresica walked down the line greeting them,

Thresica: when James release you report to the HQ and I’ll go over your contracts with you and finish up our paper work, glade to have you aboard,

James: read off a list of personnel and sent some of them to the Phoenix 3 with Tracy the rest went with Chris and Thresica to the HQ,

James turned to Jeff and Robert: we’ll dock with the Phoenix 3 once she undocks, they both nodded and headed to there ships,

James entered the ship, Jake prepare to undock and land on the Phoenix3

Jake: roger,

James took his seat and called Tracy

Tracy: yes sir

James: undock and we’ll land then jump to KE

Tracy: roger

Jake: hatch secure, undocking, departing station.

James watch as his ship left the station and headed to a location well away from the station, James watch as the Phoenix eased away from the station and turned toward the jump point,

Jake: approaching the Phoenix,

James saw the docking doors open and his ship slide thru them and land.

Jake: docking, hatch open.

James departed the ship and waited as Jeff and Rodger landed then joined him,

James: Jeff let’s go to the bridge.

Rodger: if you don’t need me sir I’ll return to duty.

James: ok, thank you.

Rodger: no problem, and turned and walked away

James turned and headed to the bridge.

As they entered the bridge James heard Tracy give the order to jump, he looked around the bridge every one was composed and tending there post, then herd the navigator report that they were entering Kingdoms End, and on course to the ship yard.

James: good jump Tracy,

Tracy turned and smiled at him: always sir,

James watched the screen as the station came into view, and grew as the ship approached it.

James opened his communications and called Mike,


Mike answered : Hi James I see you made it an early arrival,

James: yes we did and I have a crew for you, are you ready to depart the station?

Mike: yes we are and I’m looking forward to it, the food here is not to my liking,

James laugh: well you brought it onto your self,

Mike: I know, but I was hoping to get the replicator online but it needs to be programmed.

James: I see, well maybe your crew can handle that, we should be docking shortly see you then.

Tracy: Sir we are entering the docking flight path, we be docking in a few Mizuras.

James: good I’ll be in the docking bay. James turned and left the bridge taking the lift to the docking area, with Jeff following.

Jeff: if Mike didn’t like the food poor Sam will be starved, Should I get a sack meal for them?

James: yes that’s a good ideal, I’ll wait for you.

Jeff: ok, be right back and he took of toward the mess hall.

James felt the docking clamps catching the ship , then the access hatch open, he turned and saw Jeff harrying to catch up to him carrying the sack meals for Mike and Sam

James: lets go and walked thru the hatch, on the landing was Salas waiting with 4 transport to ferry the crews to the Frigate,


Salas: morning to you,

James: morning, I see you are ready to carry the crew to the Frigate,

Salas: yes, I have transports for them.

James: we have decided to call the frigate Condor,

Salas: I think that is a big bird, yes

James: that it is and a fast one too.

Jeff directed the personnel to the transports, when everyone was loaded he climbed in with James: were ready to go.

James: good, then let us be off.

Salas started the transport and headed down the corridor.

James: Salas I need twenty fighters with the cloaking shields.

Salas: that will be hard the ship does not have the room for the shield in the cargo hold,

James: what if we remove the cabin?

Salas: that might give us the room, I will check.

James: ok, but I need them as soon as possible,

Salas: if it will work I will have them ready in three Tazuras along with the second frigate,

James: the second frigate will be ready in three Tazuras?

Salas smiled: yes in three Tazuras and the other two in a Wozuras and a half.

James: wonderful, but Thresica will be upset that she has to find crews for them.

Salas had a confused look on his face,

James: Thresica is my office manager and is in charge of finding crews and hiring them, It is hard finding the best personnel but she does,

Salas: yes good people are hard to find.

James saw that the security doors were open and Salas drove right thru and up to the Condor,

Jeff jumped out and started directing the people to the ship, and went up the ramp,

James turned to Salas: thank you, I’ll see you in three Tazuras.

Salas: I look forward to it, then drove off with the other transports following him.

James walked up the ramp and was greeted by Mike, eating a sandwich that Jeff had given him,

Mike: thanks for the food, then led James to the bridge,

On the bridge Sam was directing people to there stations, and getting reports.

Mike: looks like Sam has gotten things under control, lets go to the briefing room and Ill explain what we did last night.

James followed him back into the corridor and down to the briefing room, took a seat along with Jeff.

Mike: sat down his meal and turned on the viewer, It showed the ship, We loaded the AI and instructed it to look for ways on improving the ships performance, We were surprised at what it found, it improved the turning ratio by 40% and the steering by 60% the speed was already maxed out, this ship has the fire power of a destroyer but three times faster, with the four fighters loaded it can hold its own against an attack, It can use any known weapon system and fire any Missile or torpedo in use at this time, it has 3gj shields and a cloaking shield. That will allow us to jump into a sector relatively unseen.

James: How long before you are ready to leave the dock?

Mike: probably an Stazura.

James: good, finish your meal and join us on the bridge,

Mike: ok

James and Jeff left the briefing room and went back to the bridge were Sam was sitting in the command seat enjoying his sandwich and coffee.

James: is all going well?

Sam nodded,

James: head down to the briefing room,

Sam rose and took his meal with him,

James took the command seat and looked thru the ship status screen, all showed green, he watched as the crew worked,

The Communication Officer; Sir we have 2 transports waiting outside the station, carrying the supplies for the ship.

James: tell them we will be undocking shortly to stand by, then have the transport pilot report the his ship and get ready to undock once we are clear of the station.

Communication Officer: yes sir

Mike walked onto the bridge and up to James, :are we ready

James showed him the screens,

Mike: it look good, : ok People lets take her out, a lot of Rogers were heard and then the communications officer reported

Communication Officer: departure granted,

Mike: roger undock.

James felt the docking clamps release and the engine rumpling, as the ship started forward toward the docking doors that were opening rapidly.

James watched the screen showing space and the ships beyond, there were no ships other then his own in the area.

Tracy: Condor looking good, take up wing position,

Mike: roger,

Coms: transport released, and supply ships lining up to dock.

Mike: roger, let me know when the goods are transferred,

Coms: roger

James watched as the Phoenix 3 came in to view, and saw that the security patrols were keeping regular traffic away from the ships, He smiled the pilots were doing a good job of it, no ship got within 50km of the two ships.

Coms: the second supply transports has finished unloading and are undocking.

Mike: good as soon as our transport docks, inform Tracy that she can start the countdown for the jump,

Coms: roger

Mike checked the status of the jump drive, and smiled: this crew is doing very well he announced.

James: well you didn’t expect anything less did you,

Mike: I guess not, and went back to mentoring the status screens.

Coms: count down started.

Mike watched as the ship slipped into hyperspace, :engage cloaking shield,

Eng officer: engaging cloaking shields

Navigation: entering sector Power Circle

Then James heard over his coms, where is the Condor, It was Tracy asking her crew, then he heard they jumped with us but I don’t see them on the radar.

James looked at the radar screen the Phoenix was there and her cap was exiting the ship but the condor was not shown,

Mike: just as I expected our own ships cant pick us up, but if some had been watching the area we entered they would have seen two jump signatures, cloak off

Eng: cloak is off

Coms : sir Phoenix is asking what happened,

Mike: Tracy we were testing the cloaking shields, they work fine as you see we were always here with you.

Tracy: I see, shall we dock now?

Mike: by all means, let’s dock.

James: Good show Mike, that give us a tool to be used wisely.

Mike: yes it does: proceed to dock

Navigation: roger course laid in.

James wondered how they would keep a stray ship from plowing in to them while cloaked. He would have to bring that up during a meeting with his staff officers he thought.

Once the ship was docked and powered down, James sent the crew to see Thresica to finish there paper work and told them all to go to Marisa’s shop for flight suits and jackets, and coveralls with the Condor Emblem on them,

Mike: I like that Ill go over and get Marisa started on the Emblem,

James: ok, But I have a question, how long are you going to command the Condor?

Mike: I don’t know but as long as I can I guess.

James: I guess you can command it, what about Sam,

Mike: he can help me train the crew or what ever he wants.

James: Sam your input here would be appreciated.

Sam: I’ll help Mike till the next Condor is ready then Id like to command it.

James: I guess I can live with this, But good XO’s need to be selected

Mike: ok

Sam: will do then they both left,

Jeff: I told you that they would do that.

James I know, are you going to want one too.

Jeff: and leave you to drown in paper work, I think not.

James: thank you, but how will the crews perform knowing that the boss is commanding them.

Jeff: I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Then they both left the ship and headed to the office,

As they entered they were greeted by Anjanette,

Anjanette: Thresica is in the conference room,

James: ok, thank you, James noted that the office was full of new personnel,

James walked thru the offices to the conference room, and entered, Thresica was explaining the contracts and benefits to the new personnel. There were no seats so James just stood there waiting for Thresica to finish.

Jeff: I think I’ll go and see how Mike is doing I’ll see you at lunch,

James: Ok,

Thresica finished her briefing and check some of the paper work, and collected the signed contracts, then walked up to James,: lets go to my office I’ll let Sherry and Anjanette finish up here.

James followed her to the office Thresica told Sherry to finish the briefings and bring her the Contracts.

Thresica sat down behind the desk, I’m glad that is done, now I can work on the accounts.

James: I have some more request for you,

Thresica: lets here it.

James: the second Condor will be ready in three Tazuras and the 3rd and 4th will be ready in a 12 Tazuras, a carrier will be done by the end of the Mazura, but that one goes to replace the Phoenix 4, if Commander Danna gets the funds, I hope he gets enough to buy both of them then we get our personnel back, that will help crew the Phoenix 3 & 5.

Thresica: so you are telling me that we need three more crews?

James: yes, and I promise not to order more ships for a while,

Thresica: James we don’t have the quarters for that many people, are you going to have another HQ built?

James: do we need another one? And if so where should we put it?

Thresica: Aladna Hill has potential.

James: I guess so, let me call Rodger and see if he can do it.

Thresica: now we will need personnel for it too.

James: yes, but we can house the fighters and security People that are in Aladna Hill there, That should help some, and Marissa Sama wants to put a shop there.

Thresica: and I’ll Need an office there to handle the business that it generates,

James: I told you to get an assistant, now you will need two of them to help with the business.

Thresica: Yes I shall but one will be an accountant.


James smiled at her: your doing a great job keeping up with my business, I should make you a partner.

Thresica looked up at him: your serious aren’t you?

James: yes I am, I couldn’t do the work you do, and I couldn’t afford to lose you either, so Partner it is, if you’ll except.

Thresica: let me maul that one over will you.

James: ok, but we might get Susan to move to Aladna Hill and handle that part of our operation.

Thresica: no we can handle it and it will put more funds in our pockets.

James: what ever you say partner, I’ll tell the others during lunch, you ready to go

Thresica looked at her desk, : sure lets go I need a break from this anyway.

James followed Thresica out of the office and into the lift, she selected the lounge and off they went, upon departing the lift they ran into Jeff and Tracy talking in the corridor.


James: Hi want to join us for lunch?

Tracy: sure come on Jeff your buying..

Jeff: looked puzzled : how did I end up with the honors?

Tracy: because,

Jeff sighed I guess, and followed then into the dining room.

Thresica led the way to there table and sad down,

James sat down beside her, Jeff and Tracy sat down across from then,

The waiter approached and asked: what can I get you to day?

James ordered Coffee and Tea be brought and explained they would order shortly.

The waiter departed to fetch the drinks.

James: Jeff have you heard from Mike or Sam?

Jeff: not since this morning.

James opened his communicator and call Mike

Mike: hello,

James: I need you and Sam meet us in the lounge were here and waiting on you, I have some news to give you.

Mike: We’ll be there shortly.

The waiter approached, carrying a tray with coffee, Tea, and cups and Glasses on it, Pored coffee and tea, left a carafe of coffee and a Picher of tea then departed.

Mike and Sam arrived and sat down,

Mike: what’s the News

James: I have asked Thresica to become a partner with us.

Jeff: I think that is wonderful.

Mike: Good job we need someone with business skills she has.

Sam: welcome to the club, I’m sure you will benefit our adventures.

Thresica: I am Happy to join your team and I will endeavor to do the best I can, and I thank all of you for this wonderful opportunity, However I do not expect to receive a full partners share of the profits, I only expect to t receive 5% of the profits that I help bring in from this point forward.

James: but you deserve more,

Thresica: No, I’m firm on this, Your company will continue to grow and I never expected to be a Billionaire, but that is what I’ll be if you keep going the way you have been going, I will be happy to get the 5% and that’s final.

James: Ok, But I expect you to get more help and spend less time running things now that you will have two HQ’s to over see.

Mike: two HQ’s?

James: yes the next part of my news, we will open a second HQ in Aladna Hill.

Jeff: I can see the need for that, and will we put one of our new battle groups there?

James: yes as a jump off point, Jeff I need you to call Rodger and get him to order the New HQ and deploy it ASAP.

Jeff: ok, Ill do that now and pulled out his communicator.

James now lets order Lunch.

James waived to the waiter who hurried over to take orders.

Jeff: Rodger will order the HQ same configuration as this one.

James: yes that will do. Mike will you be training this after noon?

Mike: yes, Sam and me are going out to start simulations, so we will have both crews trained. We want to be ready when the Condor 2 is ready.

James: good I plan on sending you with the Phoenix 3 to Aladna Hill.

Mike: we’ll be ready.

The waiter returned with the meals and passed them out. Refilled the drinks, and left.

Jeff’s communicator buzzed,

Jeff that was Rodger AP has a HQ in stock Rodger is Jumping to AP, He will call when he’s ready to jump to Aladna Hill.

James: very good. Luck is with us to day.

Thresica was first to finish her lunch, I need to get back to the office, she stood and left the lounge,

James: I bet she doesn’t slow down.

The others laughed and said they didn’t think she would ether.

Mike and Sam left next then Tracy saying she was going to do some simulations with her crew.

Jeff: well what will we do to day?

James: lets go to AP and check with Ben and the crew of the Phoenix 4.

Jeff: Ok, and stood

James left a tip for the waiter then they left the lounge. they walked to the docking bay.

James entered his ship: Jake lets go to AP,

Jake: Rodger, hatch secured, departing station,

James buckled up and checked the ships status screens, as the ship lifted off and headed to the departure lane, James saw Jeff following him, as they departed the station

Jake: Jump drive ready, Jumping in 5,4,3,2,1, Jumping, entering sector Argon Prime.

James looked at the screens, He didn’t see the Phoenix 4 anywhere.

Jeff: I don’t see the Phoenix,

James: I guess she’s cloaked, lets go to Argon 1,

Jeff: roger, and followed James to Argon 1

James: Argon 1 this is James Hawk request permission to land.

Argon 1: Granted, docking port 2.

James: Roger, docking port 2.

James lined up on the docking port and was pulled into the ship, to a landing pad near by.

James exited the ship and was greeted by a officer,

Officer: how can I help you Mr. Hawk

James: I’d like to talk to Commander Danna if possible.

Officer: wait here and I’ll check. He turned and walked over to a com center.

Jeff walked up: is Ben here?

James: we’ll see, as they waited for the officer to return.

Officer: Commander Danna will see you follow me please, the officer turned and led the way to Commander Danna’s office, opened the door and was greeted by Ben’s assistant who dismissed the officer and led them to Ben’s office, Ben was sitting behind his desk he rose.

Ben: James come in and have a seat, Jeff good to see you, How can I help you James,

James took a seat, : Ben we came to check on the Phoenix,

Ben: A wonderful ship, I just received the funds to purchase two of them, you loaning me one has shamed the senate to pass the request for funds to purchases them, I thank you for that.

James: That is good news, I would like to take my crew off of her and I can transfer the registration over to you.

Ben: that’s fine with me, Can I keep the 20 Hawk Fighters till I get funding for them? James: ok, I’ll leave them on board, where is the Phoenix now?

Ben: She is returning from Elena’s Fortune, She should be along side shortly, Give me your data pad and I’ll transfer the funds,

James handed over hid data pad,

Ben took the pad and transferred the funds over, will you order the second ship for me?

James: yes, do you want me to deliver it here to AP?

Ben: that would be a great help, Ill have a crew ready for it, the Commander tells me the ship is well constructed and is easy to handle.

James: I know, Its been well worth the price. I will place the order hopefully the ship will be ready in 2 Wozuras.

Ben: splendid, Ben pored three drinks and passed one to James then Jeff: let’s drink to that.

James and Jeff help up the drinks toasted Ben and drunk down the Argon Whisky.

James: I plan on taking the battle to the pirates, I have been putting to gather a small battle fleet to do the job.

Ben: what kind of fleet?

James: a carrier and 2 Frigates I hope they can get in close and take out the Pirate base.

Ben: let me know how they do.

James: will do

James I’ll call for transports for the crew and order your carrier, James stood and shook hands with Ben

Ben put a arm on there shoulders: I hope all works out for you, call me if you need the marines to help.

James: thank you I will, they left the office and Ben’s assistant took them back to the docking bay.

James entered his ship: Jake lets go to the Phoenix 4

Jake: roger, hatch secured, departure granted, lifting off, then the ship fell thru the docking port and headed to the Phoenix 4 that was off to the port bow,

Phoenix 4: Hawk One your cleared to land,

James: roger, then James Called HQ

Communications center: can I help you?

James: I need Three troop Transports to link up with the Phoenix 4 in AP,

Communications center: yes sir I’ll pass that on.

James: thank you I’ll be on the Phoenix 4

Jake: landing, hatch open

Communications center: yes sir

James disconnected and departed his ship.

James was met by Andy Phoenix 3 XO,

Andy: hello Mr. Hawk

James: Andy call me James, are you ready to go back to the Phoenix 3

Andy: Yes, I have the crew and Pilots getting there belongings together, Tracy Called me and told me that there are three transports on there way,

James: good.

Jeff walked up: Hi Andy.

Andy: Hi Mr. Collins

Jeff chuckled: I cant get used to that,

Andy: Jeff then OK,

Jeff: ok

James: let’s go to the bridge.

Andy: I’ll go check on my people and bring my things to the docking bay.

James: ok see you when the transports arrive.

James and Jeff walked into the bridge and was met by Commander Johnson,

Johnson: hello Mr. Hawk,

James: Hello, how’s the ship handling?

Johnson: like a dream, I thank you for letting us use it.

James: it belongs to AP Security now, I think you will have to train more crews for the next one that should be here in a Wozura or two.

Johnson: great we need to upgrade the entire fleet with these.

James: I don’t see that happing, but one can hope.

Johnson: politics Id like to see them fly around in the older ships during war, maybe it would change there prospective.

James: yes or get them killed.

Johnson: no mourning here.

James: as soon as the transports arrive we load up and be out of your hair.

Johnson: its good to meet you, and thank you for the ship, I’ll take good care of her.

James: you do that and stay safe, Bye

James and Jeff went back to the landing bay,

James: I need to call Salas and check on the carrier status, I’ll be right back.

Jeff: OK

James headed to his ship went aboard and entered his cabin, Jake get Salas for me.

Jake: roger, Salas on line

James: Hello Salas.

Salas: Hello,

James: is my carrier on schedule?

Salas: Yes: it will be ready in 1 Wozura.

James: good, I need to put in a order for 1 more.

Salas: Ok, I’ll process the paper work, do you want fighters for it?

James: Yes 20 Fighters, no transports

Salas: very well I’ll get right on it for you.

James: ok, see you in two Tazuras.

Salas: ok, bye and disconnected

James left the ship and joined Jeff and Andy,

Jeff: the transports are on approach,

James: good, Andy I see that you are ready to go,

Andy: yes, to much brass around here,

The first shuttle landed and Andy directed his people to board,
As the third and last shuttle landed Andy and twenty of his officers boarded, the first shuttle was departing, James and Jeff went to there ships and followed the last shuttle out, the shuttles and escorts arrived at the Jump point,

James: Jake prepare to jump to PC and Jump as a group.

Jake Roger, notifying Gate, contacting ships, Jumping in 5,4,3,2,1, Jumping the 11 ships disappeared and reappeared in Power Circle.

James: Proceed to dock.
The escort leaders roger the transmission.

James: Jeff lets dock.

Jeff: after you

James: throttled up and headed to the HQ station.
Jake: dock on the HQ

Jake: roger, the ship slowed and entered the landing glide path,

Jake: landing, Hatch open,

James departed the ship. And went to his suite, to take a shower and change clothes before dinner.

When James arrived at the dining room he found Tracy, Mike, Sam Jeff and Thresica sitting at there table, he joined them: Hi, is there anything I missed?

Jeff: Howard called he’s headed to Empires Edge to deploy a trading station. And Randle has the HQ loaded he says its bigger then this one with an extra level for shops and about a hundred extra apartments.

James: is he on his way back here?

Jeff: no he wants to wait till tomorrow, he’s loading up with supplies.

James: ok. As he pours himself some coffee.

The waiter arrived and took orders, then left.

Thresica: I have hundreds of applicants for the positions we have open, and I have hired the management staff for the new HQ, and I sent fifty personnel to Chris to interview, I guess that’s why he not here.

Mike: I have a full crew now and some for the Condor 2, we will continue training, the ship performs very good.

Sam: I can’t wait to get my own, it’s the best small destroyer that I’ve seen.


James: it only be a few more Tazuras,

Sam: I know,

The waiter returned with the meal cart and passed out the orders. Refilled the drinks, and left.

James dug into his stake and fries, then eat his salad, and listened to the others talking about the ships. After the others had left : Thresica I want you to move to the suite floor, where you will be safer.

Thresica: I guess your right, I’ll have the droids move my stuff tomorrow,

James: if you need any help ask ok.

Thresica: ok I think I’ll go and pack my clothes, and get my laundry done.

James: good night, see you tomorrow.

Thresica left the lounge and James headed to his suite to get ready for tomorrow.
