EMP and poltergeist - where to buy?

I love and hate being a noob-

So I have this Terran Sabre (seems pretty good) but I cant find missiles or additional weapons (another EMP cannon would be nice).

Maybe I should dump this ship but it seems pretty capable
I have about 500,000 credits mostly from salvaging :) bu ti can take on most of what the beginning game has thrown at me so far. I cant get them dammed pirates to eject and give me a better ship (bastards ;)

Any help or chatter on the subject is appreciated, thanks

Missiles..I don't know. There are Terran missile fabs here and there, but I never bothered with them.

Lasers, just about any Orbital base will have them. In my game the only EMP Fab I found is way off Saturn, and is always empty. It's much easier just to buy them from the patrol bases.


That said, I'd recommend going with a Nova Raider over the Terran Saber. It's just a more flexible design.

As for capping...Might be a bit tough with EMP weapons. They do heavy hull damage, so the time between 'shields down' and 'ship dead' is pretty slim. Might be a better idea, if you're comfortable with combat, to start taking missions and earn money to buy a new ship.

You can buy EMP cannon here .

You can buy missiles for Terran Sabre here.

Dang! not enough status to buy another EMP cannon.

I assume I just have to do missions?

Gothsheep suggested a Nova Raider but I cant find a place to buy pirate ships (it is a pirate ship , right?)

Yes. Here you can find how Gain Terran Reputation (Terran Conflict spoilers forum).
