This mod has been motivated by the desire for novelty for the HUD (Head-Up Display) interface that remained unchanged since X3-Reunion.
The interface integrates, obviously, the transparent sidebar of my fellow Azz!
The aim is not to change just for making a change. I used to make it more "readable", to improve as much as possible the visibility (transparency) and to add a piece of functionality.

* Suppression of the sidebar and menu's icons made transparent, less flashy color highlight, custom colors for the Undocking, Message, and Game menu icons.
* New Targets Markers with better identification of object or station
* Size reduction of the reticle in Manual steering and Autopilot modes
* Gravidar Display designed for more “military” appearance, display of range, turrets firing arcs and front field of view

The Gravidar is divided into 4 quadrants: Front, Rear, Right and Left.
When an icon is located in one of the quadrant it is in the firing-arc of the corresponding turret (if you have turrets in these directions)
Moreover, the front Quadrant also display the angle of vision (if set at 90 °)
I have optimized it for combat (Gravidar set at 10km)
The orange and red areas are shooting range! :
Red Zone (central) fighters, 1st circle 5km.
Orange Zone, Capital ship, 2nd circle 10km.
On this screenshot with the Gravidar mode set to 10km, the civilian ship (small blue dot) is at 7km and the M4 just behind at 12 km.
Warning: These ranges are valid only forward (when more accuracy is needed) on the sides, ranges are crushed and backward doubled (1st circle 10km).
A fixed point and a rotation of 360 ° will show the "tear drop" effect of the Gravidar!
I try to do my best to make it truly functional, but the accuracy of Gravidar itself is really rough! moreover, no way of knowing which Gravidar mode you are other than through the menu.

* plus lots of other little goodies that you will find in game...

Installation:
SPK version requires the Cycrow Plugin Manager / Installer.

RAR version: unpack the archive in the X3 Terran Conflict folder, you will find a new folder named “dds” containing the files:

* gui_master.dds
* interface_template_blackpearl_diff.dds
* interface_framework_XT_diff.dds

Uninstall:
Use the Plugin Manager to the SPK, or delete the dds folder or files listed above for RAR version.

Hi mate, i tried this last night and it's really-really good, exellent job! :thumb_up: :thumb_up:

Edit: Maybe versions were the hud colours are changed, i.e green, orange, yellow etc. or mixture, green for reticle, blue for radar, and so-on. :)

I used the military hud from Cmod and thought I'd give this one a try.
I'll be looking through this hud a lot longer.

One small omission.

The SETA icon next to your own ship details on the main screen is missing :oops: . However, if you hover over the area it can still be used :D , just not visible.

Otherwise, fantastic work I will definately be using this from now on.

I have to say, i really like this hud alot. Im really glad i went back a few months and saw this. I love the radar here. Pretty much what i wanted to know for arcs.
The mongrels will never get over THIS wall.

Took me a minute to find this thread. Excellent HUD, and much appreciate the effort put into it!!

Missing one thing when installed in 2.5 though. I dont have the button for using the NavSat camera while in sector. Can hover over it's place and click anyway, but icon is not there. Small thing, but the devil is in the details... :twisted:
