well...
the problem is...i ve never put ships ingame... the only thing i can do atm is creating the models and use the script editor...and lord simpson seems to be working for his bachelor or master...so it is only me who is working,what makes it quiet hard...so if anyone is interested in helping....PLEASE send me a mail or a pm...

to add the ships at a shipyard you need to use a script to do that... scripters say that is easy, but i dunno. look at Amurph0 shipyards scripts, if you are lucky you just need to change the target station and the target ships.

to make the AI use them you need to modify the Jobs.pck

btw... what "race" are them?


for the missile turret... to work as missile turret it needs to be set on DEFAULT cockpit and obviously the ship cannot have main guns. You can put all its guns in turrets though.

this mod is still a newborn but can become a pretty cool one. Very Happy Keep up the good work!

not only the link...cause i am the only one working,and sad of being alone...the whole mod is dead...i ll keep my models and stuff and use them for something else...

or if someone whants to create a halo mod hisself...just tell me... i ll be glad to help you...but i m not going to wark on alone

im not making any promises but i may be able to get you a model donation. i used to work for sins of the prophets on sins of a solar empire until i lost all of my work in a computer reformat. i might be able to get a few models for you including a cov assualt carrier, unsc- frigate, destroyer, spirit of fire, and a marathon cruiser.

thanks,i created all the ships Smile ...and thanks for the offering,but i already have a halcyon marathon and phoenix class and a shortsword...and a frigate and i have the model for a mac gun...the models are no problem...to put them ingame is the problem...cause i have absolutely no experience on puting ships ingame... i would need 1 or 2 persons to help me with that and with the whole mod...but noone seems to care...and anubitus...if you send me your e-mail adress via pm,i ll send you the last file (0.04)

and i thought about creating models and offering them to sins of the prophets myself^^ i know the mod and i am waiting for it Smile

i can try with putting models ingame when i get time but there are some things that take precedent. but i would be glad to join you because at least this game doesnt require as much txt editing which is my specialty.

Any chance you could get a link working so I could download the mod ?
Also I am starting to do some 3D Modeling and Texturing so if your still interested in help then once I get a bit better at it then I can give you a hand to model a few ships, ive also got a few more ideas on how the mod could expand if you still want to develop it.
But it still doesnt help you with getting the ships ingame becuase ive also got no idea on how to do it Razz

Maby the Longsword as an M8?

the Vulture should be a Light M6 due to its (slow) speed and firepower.

EDIT: just read the rest of the thread, turns out the mod's dead... anyway if anyone re-starts this then you can use my advice...

yeah its a shame that this died i'd love to fly a vulture and the spirit of fire ship in the cutscenes of halo wars its so sweet

however if any one can make me the spirit of fire i'd be happy to place it in x3, model must be in 3ds or .max file i use 3dsmax 2009 myself
