So it's getting ever closer. Will there be an updated manual for it? And will that be available for d/l.

Nice to get further insight into the the dev team, especially Owen, who seems to carry such zeal for X
- gives me confidence in future ES endevours (as well as the current ones).

Makes me feel like I might actually start playing X3:TC fro real myself soon :)

Don't gimme vague, gimme details!!!! :P

Anyway, whatever it is, you can be sure I'll end up buying it (and a better PC just to be abke to run it)...

More encouraging news.

So heres a theoretical:

What if this new aldrin release gains unexpected popularity in the states? What if it outsells other games? Would egosoft then go back on the "last game in the series" thing? It would be sheer madness not to.

(this is after the staff at egosoft finish their happy dance)

I believe the proper quote was something like "the last game in the X-Trilogy". Now that could mean no more X-Universe games, or it could mean a totally different storyline in a slightly different X-Universe, or something in between. We, the gamers, have no way of knowing at this point. All we really know is that they're working on something. And I'd highly doubt they'd drop whatever it is they're working on just because "this new aldrin release gains unexpected popularity in the states". :)
Have a great idea for the current or a future game? You can post it in the [L3+] Ideas forum.

X4 is a journey, not a destination. Have fun on your travels.

BurnIt! would cry if the forum would get closed. He made so many things for it, so you can be sure that forum won't get closed just because of the conclusion of a trilogy. The ideas forum will also kept open, because there are many ideas that can find a way in a new project of egosoft, whatever this may be. And Bernd once said that the long term of egosoft is an Online version of X.
