The character, Kenji Nacht, was arrested and taken into custody after refusing the destroy a transport full of Boron civilians in Heretics End - He was setup as his normal wingmen were suddenly reassigned. Kenji is now an exiled Terran after escaping custody on Mars during a Xenon attack (refer to X3TC story line here
) - he manages to steal an ATF Fenrir and escape the Sol System - The Argon grant him Asylum and a cold war is ongoing between the Terrans the Argon.Basically... had the idea to have a go at creating a first person fictional story based on Kenji's journal when he went on active duty in USC on Earth Stardate 2925 (X-Universe Year 755). Go easy on me.... I'm by no means a good author like Helge or SteveMill, but I hope this will be a little bit of fictional fun in the spare time. I welcome feedback & comments

Prologue Chapter
Earth Stardate 2901
Kenji Bennett is born on Earth at the Jerusalem Infirmary to Parents Keiko & Reese Bennett. Keiko dies during labour. Kenji is the only child and begins life with no mother…
Facing an uphill struggle as a single father, Reese is granted special leave from his post as a Valkyrie Pilot in the ATF on the Moon.
Earth Stardate 2903
Reese returns to the ATF and is reassigned to ATF Operations in Tokyo, Japan on Earth. Kenji begins education at a young age in an ATF education facility attached to ATF Operations. He is the first child to ever be educated by the ATF.
Earth Stardate 2907
A violent earthquake rocks Tokyo which party destroys the ATF Operations centre. Reese Bennett is killed along with 37 other ATF personnel as well as 231 USC Personnel and hundreds of civilians. Kenji is the last of his family line left alive. The ATF continue to educate Kenji and provide for him.
Earth Stardate 2908
USC Commander Klaus Nacht, a close friend of Reese Bennett, adopts Kenji Bennett. Kenji instantly forms a good bond with Klaus. Kenji continues education with the ATF until 2910.
Earth Stardate 2910
Kenji graduates primary education with distinction.
Klaus is transferred to USC Research & Development, Dresden, Germany. Kenji signs up to secondary education and attends a USC run academy. Kenji at this stage aspires to be in the ATF like his biological father as a way of honouring his memory.
Earth Stardate 2912
Disastrous failure for Earth as test pilot Capt. Kyle William Brennan is never seen or heard from again during the maiden flight of the Xperimental shuttle. No one on Earth knew that Capt. Brennan was marooned in what would become known as the Commonwealth sectors in just over 20 years time. Major Elena Kho, is sent to rescue Capt. Kyle Brennan. She is never seen again.
Earth government prohibits any more testing of jump drives due to two pilots now MIA.
Kenji completes first his first semester of secondary education and passes out with distinction.
Earth Stardate 2914
Klaus is re-assigned to co-ordinate defence system design for Project Torus and subsequently promoted to Colonel. In order to accommodate project Torus, all other USC business in Dresden is shipped out to Hannover, Germany resulting in hundreds of personnel being reassigned.
Kenji completes his third semester of higher education with merit. He enlists in the United Space Command Cadet force (USCCF) with intentions of enlisting into the USC on his 16th Birthday. Kenji’s ambition to join the ATF is on track thus far… Klaus feels proud that Kenji aspires to enlist into the USC.
Earth Stardate 2916
Earth Torus project is made public as design blueprints are produced and contracts drawn up. Construction is expected to begin in 2918 and take at least 22 years to complete.
Kenji is promoted to flight sergeant in the USCCF and leads an expedition to Antarctica under supervision of USCCF officers. His performance was described as being outstanding. He also completes his final semester and graduates from higher education with honours.
Earth Stardate1917
Due to his education & achievements in the USCCF, Kenji Enlists at officer level in the USC. He is given the rank of Ensign and assigned to a USC officer training facility in London, England.
Mass Protests erupt in cities all over Earth over the planned construction of Earth Torus. The protesters claim the Torus will destroy the whole image of Earth and make them feel imprisoned on their own planet. The liberal Earth government is voted out and replaced with a far right wing government who continue on schedule with the Torus construction despite the protests.
Earth Stardate 2918
Construction begins on the massive Earth Torus; a space station that circles the entire planet at the equator. Mass protests grow into riots and become violent. Earth Government responds by sending in the USC. Kenji’s training is suspended as all personnel are required to attend to riots.
Kenji holds an Electro-Magnetic Plasma (EMP) rifle for the first time in his life knowing he may be ordered to kill another human.
Rioters in Dresden receive leaked data that the Torus project has been co-ordinated from the USC facility in Dresden. As a result, the rioters attempt to storm the facility but are beaten back by USC troops. 867 rioters & 131 USC personnel are killed in the attack including Col. Klaus Nacht.
Rioters stand off in a stale mate with USC troops in London.
Kenji receives word that Klaus was killed in action in Dresden.
Earth Stardate 2919
Rioters officially declare themselves as the Torus Freedom Brigade (TFB) and claim responsibility for a series of explosions on Earth Torus construction site. This pushes the Earth government to order USC Command to eliminate all TFB militants and supporters with whatever force is necessary. At the same time the ATF is pulled from regular duties of policing AGI and ordered to identify and assassinate TFB leaders.
Kenji is given a squad of 8 USC Soldiers and is ordered to disable a TFB communication station. Kenji unable to pull the trigger against another human is wounded in the attack despite knowing the same group killed his adoptive father.
Earth government begins intensive positive propaganda campaign to raise support for the Torus.
Earth Stardate 2920
Major TFB leaders have been assassinated by ATF operatives. The USC arrests thousands of TFB militants and supporters. The Earth Government publicly announces that these militants will be incarcerated in a maximum security prison on Titan – they were in fact lying. The captured militants were actually killed in mass-executions on Io. All files relating to these individuals were destroyed.
Kenji returns to the USC officer training facility in London and resumes his training. Soon afterwards, he begins his flying lessons in simulation.
Earth security is dramatically increased and becomes oppressive.
Earth Stardate 2924
Main Hub of the Torus is completed with work beginning on the ring and weapons systems. Security is stepped up further with the destruction of the Mars Trans-orbital Accelerator Gate meaning the only access to Earth comes via the Moon.
Kenji graduates officer training and is promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade… he now awaits re-assignment for active duty as a USC fighter pilot.…
