Has anyone seen the new 2009 ships of the line calendar? if so I would love to see the U.S.S. Spirit (August) in the game, See below for pics.

I managed to get some pictures of the ship, and other ships that would look good in X3 (R or TC)

These two are the same ship. It's ST, note the Nacelles

These Three are different angles of the USS Spirit. Pre art version

As it is in the Calendar

This Just looks cool. Not ST but still...

These Two are different aspects of the custom ship from this years SoL Calendar (2008).

Thanks in Advance.

well, yeah everyone wants the Enterprise or Voyager, nearly every easily modable space sim I've played has had those ships in it sooner or later, I'm just trying to inject a bit of creative thought into the community, See some new designs come in.

Speaking of which, another ship I have had on the back burner for a while for whichever game did it first.

Whoa! The Spirit looks cool, and it reminds me of the Normandy from Mass Effect. I started a thread a while ago on the Normandy, i think this would be a good alternative because theres no way EA will give the go ahead for the Norm.

not entirely correct, may I draw your attention to this thread, He has worked out (mostly) which ships will work for TC without having to rebuild the tships files for them

I probably sound like a broken record, but a little enterprise-E would really make my day.

Awesome.

EDIT: Probably hard to model though.

I ported about 7 star trek ships from X3:R into X3:TC but most of them had cockpit problems and internal docking problems, now the internal docking didnt bother me but the cockpit problems did.

Pic of a few ships i ported but they had the cockpit problems Crying or Very sad

Reguards,

Zayltsin.
