Microchips have been reduced to 85000 units (or 75000 in current savegames Ich screwed up ).

Nice work with the 1.3 update, but how about having a running credit total somewhere on the hud?

I received the STEAM update last night.. Only took about 2 minutes to update.. MANY THANKS for the upgrade.. I haven't tested everything, but my gratitude for the following:
(San Asteroids) - Works wunnerful !! Need to have the Mineral scanner installed.. I had 4 Kestrel's scan Orebelt and they completed it in less than 3 minutes... By the way, it appears by default, they dock at the Trading station when they are done..
(Shipyard Sneak Peek) - This is nice.. gives you a clue on the ship stats..
(Sector Patrol Mission) - It is Sooooo nice that the bad guys are phased now instead of massed at the start of the mission; at least they were in an Argon Prime Sector Patrol mission.. I did notice that the "bonus" for M6's appears to have been reduced to just shy of 1 mill apiece, BUT, you now get the "bounty" in addition to the Bonus..
(Defend Station) - Same as the sector patrol.. Phased instead of massed..
("Blue" Pirates) It seems all those "blue" pirates in Argon Prime, Home of Light, and a couple of other sectors have gone bye-bye... Bummer, when I was just getting to the point of being able to "Cap" ...
(Boarding Pods) No shortage on these now... Most, but not all Outposts seems to have 2 on hand and they respawn pretty quick... Never used on myself, no M7 yet, so I'm wondering if they are good for only one launch ???
All in All... I'm quite pleased and Kudo's to EGOSOFT for the fixes and for prompting STEAM to get motivated and get the patch out..

I just got the patch 1.3 installed. I am sure that there was a lot of work put into it. However, what I was really looking for was the sound files being fixed. I still can't hear the voices. I would really like to get that fixed, It has been an issue for some time and yes I have asked tech support for help.

the lack of voices is almost definatly a codec problem rather than a game problem, so unlikly to get fixed in a patch.sillls wrote:I just got the patch 1.3 installed. It could be that sillls is refering to the issue where one actors voice cuts out anothers, such as the Terran mission to escort the freighters where the freighter pilot starts talking before the guy giving you the mission finishes talking, or the issue where accepting or rejecting a mission shows the actor responding in the monitor, but without any audio. Funnily enough I get the responses when accepting or rejecting map sales, just not for any other missions. I have seen these reported multiple times on the forum, but haven't sen anything about a resolution. It's possible I've missed it though. Post an update in your thread in tech support (please don't create a new thread!) saying what you have tried, and whether there has been any change in the symptoms. As CBJ said, the number of codecs looks iffy. Have you tried uninstalling cyberlink? There was a codec testing tool available in the X3: Reunion tech forum. Perhaps that can shed some light on your problems.

Has anyone seen if there are any phased laser array cannons floating around anywhere?
I havn't had much of a chance to play 1.3, but from the restart I can see the X universe economy no longer mirrored the US one, it seems very healthy and wares are avaliable.

Im been checking and the rest is so far so good... but mutiple sector patrols could take a lot of time! really a lot of time, not worth the time considering that assessinations missions still pay you a lot... but the money is OK now....
I wonder WHY the Yakis use Centaurs or ospreys in their station defence missions if they have the own M6s...
I fairy agree with all those ajustments for the missions, but trade missions STILL need that timer to be removed or highly increased...

well, the "jumpdrive ship" mission can be still easily bugged, just dont let them to destroy the TS you capture or the mission will restart, no matter if you made to finish it.

The Enhanced Dolphin from the hub mission can now be claimed!!! add a unique ship reward to that plot.

I wanted to move a level 17 pilot on my Baldric Universe Trader to a new Demeter Super Freighter and I ended up with 2 level 17 pilots, both with the same name. But I suppose that copying software pilots is supposed to work that way.

I just completed the Goner Mission with 1.3, but the temple is still empty, nothing to buy/sell. Everything I got back from the Goner is the stupid M6 - can carry all kind of weaspons, but the weapon energy is so underpowered, an useless ship.
I'm kinda pissed of this plot, all the tasks for no reward I could use of
