James followed Chris to the briefing room entered and took his seat at the table,

Jeff, Mike, Scott and Erick the security chief entered and took seats, then Linda Wailings, Maintenance Officer and Carlton Kirby, Ship Repair Specialist entered and took seats, Dan Crusher, Medical Officer
and Bryan Wright, Supply Officer entered, Carmen Mercado, Senior Communications Officer entered and shut and secured the door,

Chris: James it has been an interesting and profitable trip, we left Aladna Hill and entered Elena’s Fortune to drop off the captives we ran in to a pirate raiding party of 4 falcons 3 buzzards and 2 vulture Haulers, we destroyed 2 buzzards and 1 falcon we captured 3 Falcons 1 buzzard and 2 vulture Haulers,
And captured 8 Pilots and 1 DOA, the haulers were loaded with ,Power cells, Crystals, Computer Components, and had 10 captives, we also found 3,895,776 gold credits, a complete list is on page 7 of your hand out, we found that 6 of the captives were from The Hole and 4 were from Antigone Memorial, we also got information of a hidden ship location that was in Farnhams Legend, after we dropped off the captives from Elena’s Fortune, we jumped to the location in Farnhams Legend, we found 2 Dolphin Super freighters loaded See note #7 on pg 7. . we cap the ships and then jumped to The Hole and dropped off the captives, then jumped to Antigone Memorial were we ran in to a pirate raiding party attacking a supply ship, we attacked the pirates captured 3 falcons 1 buzzard destroyed 1 buzzard and got 896,000 credits for saving the supply, ship our bay was getting full so I sold 10 falcons 2 buzzards and 3 vulture Haulers, for a total 31,285.653, and the 896,000, and 3,895,776 = 36,077,429 I put in to the Phoenix 2 account.
We have the other goods in storage along with the 12 Falcons we captured in CBSW, now Ill let Bryan give you a status report on ships supplies,

Chris sat down next to James, and Bryan took the podium, if you look at note 7 on pg 7 these are the items we found on the 2 Dolphins, we also restocked our food and supplies in Elena’s Fortune, we have a full 20 Day supply. Then returned to his seat
Chris turned to James, Is there any other information you would like?

James: the status on the falcons we were upgrading for our trainees,

Chris: called Linda to give a report on the repairs,

Linda walked to the podium, Yes Sir

Chris; what is the repair status on the Falcons?

Linda: five have been repaired and completely upgraded, to the new specifications we have. The other five are awaiting the improved shielding, and weapons,

Chris: thank you
Linda returned to her seat,

James got up and went to the podium,

James: I would like to thank all of you for the excellent work you have done, while we were planet side we recruited << trainees, this is jus a start we will endeavor to keep good young men from joining the pirates ranks. And as long as they put ships out we will take them and there goods, and give them to good pilots to use against them. Thank you
James returned to his seat,
Chris dismissed his crew members, and ordered some coffee for James.

Madeleine walked in with a cart that had coffee cups and some pastries on it and passed out coffee and asked if they would like some of the pastries?

James took the coffee and a sweet roll, Chris did you send a report to Thresica? I think it’s a good ideal that you put the funds into the Phoenix’s account it will save Thresica from having to transfer funds to it, but she need to know how much was put in it. I got a little board sitting around at the lodge, I’m ready to get back to work.

Chris: No I haven’t sent a report to Headquarters yet, I wanted to tell you first.

James: when you send it tell I have been informed and approved it. Where are we going now?

Chris: I thought we would jump to Ore Belt and check on the progress of the station, unless you have some other place you would like to go?

James: Ore Belt is fine, I would like to check out the progress of the station and ask Howard if he can place a station here in Aladna Hill, the Pirates are terrorizing the stations and traders here.

Chris: that is a lat of area to cover,

James I think we can handle it and it will give us more trading area.
Chris: I will have Rodger set course to Ore Belt and let you know when were ready to jump, Chris leaves the briefing room and heads to the bridge.

James: Jeff what do you think about expanding to Aladna Hill?

Jeff: I guess it’s a prudent move but we will have to have a carrier here for a while, and we will need some more ships including freighters’ what kind of base du you want to set up?

James: check and see if there is a demand not being met here.

Jeff: ok I can do that.

Jeff: it looks like the need for Crystals and Meatstakes Cahoones are in high demand.


James: is there a silicon mine in the area?

Jeff: No but there is a large asteroid with silicon deposits in it.

James: let’s set up a Crystal Fab and a Silicon Mine.

Jeff: sounds like a winner to me we will need two transports 1 for the SM and 1 for the CF,
We can add an extra docking bay for our patrol ships, and I would add an extra docking bay and repair shop on the SM and quarters on both with 10 to 20 fighters for the area and escort duties.

James: sounds good I’ll contact Salas and order the ships, you tell Chris that we have to get the station and he can have them deployed, he’s wanted to try out the ship for station deployment here’s his chance.

Mike: I’ll go tell Him.

James: ok I’m going to my quarters and clean up see you in the mess hall in 3 Mizuras. James stands and follows Jeff out of the room. Jeff will you get quarters for the trainees,

Jeff: ok, and leaves the briefing room.

James went into his quarters pulled out a clean flight suit, went into the head shaved showered, then put on his clean clothes, opened his comms to HQ, Anjanette answered, James: Anjanette could you get Thresica for me?

Anjanette: did you have a good vacation? I get Thresica,


James: Yes, thank you,

Thresica: Hi James we have missed you, when are you coming to the HQ,
James: don’t know I’m headed for Ore Belt to check on things, I need you to find a Silicon Mine manager and crew, and Crystal Feb Manager and crew, I plan to open the stations in Aladna Hill, I will get the security and pilots for the stations I plan on contacting Salas and Commander Danna to day,


Thresica: I have 3 transport Pilots and 4 Fighter Pilots that have applied for positions they look good, I’ll send you there information, I see what I can find for the management positions, I really would like to see you,

James: tell you what meet me in Argon Prime tomorrow for lunch,

Thresica: Ok, Ill send you the location and time this evening,

James: ok, talk to you later, bye. James then called Salas, Salas I need 3 Freighters and 25 fighters and another carrier without the station deployment equipment and a large hanger and a repair bay, it need to hold 60+ fighters 2 to 4 transports,

Salas: James good to hear from you, is all well, and I’ll have the ships ready in 5 Tazuras, and the carrier can carry 75 m4,and 4 TS with the loss of 5 fighter slots, the repair bay can hold 10 M4 or 2 TS

James: all is well, and I’ll see you in 5 Tazuras, Salas thank you and could you put the passenger shell in one of them,

Salas, Yes I have a new one that I think you will like it will hold 100 passengers’. See you soon, Bye and closes the connection,

James then calls Ban, This is James Hawk Id like to talk to commander Danna please, the Commanders Aid: wait a Mizura Ill see if he is available, James was on hole for 2 Mizuras when Ban answered:
Ban: Danna here, James Hi Ban I’m checking to see if you have some pilots that I can get,

Ban: I’ll have to check, what are you into now?

James I’m thinking of opening a couple of station in Aladna Hill,

Ban: what kind of stations?

James: a Silicon Mine and a Crystal Feb, with extra docking bays and crew quarters for the sector patrols, the pirates there are terrorizing the shipping and trade routes.

Dan: I’ve heard about that. Sound like a good venture though, Ill see what I can do, Give me a couple of Tazuras, I’ll call you when I have some information for you,

James: Thank you, Ill be waiting for your call.

Ban: I have gotten most of the guests that you got for me sorted out and I will be sending a report along with a voucher to your HQ in the morning, I think you will be surprised of what we found out.

James: glade to here it, thank you again,



Ban: you take care I’ll be in contact with you soon, and then Ban disconnected the call.

James sat looking at his communicator as if it went dead then laugh to him self, Ben doesn’t like good byes.

James unpacked his clothes and notified housekeeping of the laundry he had for them, then left and went to the bridge.

Chris: I was just about to call you we will be jumping in 5 Mizuras.

James: good we have a lot of work to do,

Chris: I have notified the ship yard in AP for the stations we will need for Aladna Hill, they will be ready for pick up in 2 Tazuras, I asked for completely automated stations so we can cut down on the number of personnel needed to run them. I’m looking forward to deploying them and checking out my crew, and then we can take some Jobs and earn our keep.

James: you are earning your keep just capping ships and selling them.

Chris you know what I mean we have crew members sitting around doing nothing, I want to put them to work, I have notified my engineers and they are eager to show what they can do.

James: I know, and I appreciate what you and your crew are doing.

Chris: I know, ready to jump to Ore Belt,

James: yes, let’s go

The Phoenix 2 crew went thru there procedures to jump and jumped to Ore Belt with no problems, once in Ore Belt sector the CAP deployed and escorted the Phoenix 2 to her holding station 10 K off the Station. Then docked

Chris: we have an call from Eagle one for you,

James on screen,

Howard: good to see you back, we are just about done here and the station is ready to move to its new location,

James: good, did you run into any problems?

Howard: nothing that we couldn’t handle.

James : see it has two patrols out.

Howard: one of them is mine we will be departing in 2 Stazuras, to pick up a trade station to be deployed in Empire’s Edge with a large bonus if we can get it done in a Wozura.

James: good, Ill look over your report, you have a safe trip,

Howard: will do, then closed the communication.

James: I think he be able to handle that with no problems,

Chris: He will.

James: Ill fly over to the station and see what changes have been made, I’ll be back in the morning before I go to AP to link up with Thresica.

Chris: Ok, I call you if any thing comes up.

James left the bridge and went to his ship, called Jeff to join him,

Jeff: roger meet you in the landing bay,

James entered the landing bay and headed toward his ship as Jeff was getting off the lift,

Jeff: there you are wats up?

James: let’s go over to the station and check out the improvements.

Jeff: ok after you and heads to his ship.

James enters his ship, Jake lets go to the station,

Jake: roger, hatch secured, lifting off

James strapped in as the ship lifted off

Jake: departing ship.

James saw that Jeff was following him, James watched the station as the closed the distance, some of the modification could be seen as he approached, two towers had been added, and the command center had been raised, larger radar dishes had been installed, along with more exterior lights, the station had been painted and had Hawks security logo on the side, the docking bay had been extended, and had larger doors on it. James ship entered the station, James noticed that the docking bay was larger and looked more organized, and a lot brighter, there was a patrol that flu by James as he approached the station but he had not been hailed. He heard Jake announced that they had entered the station and was landing,

Jake: Hatch opened.

James exited the ship and watched Jeff dock.

Jeff came out of his ship and walked over to James, the station looks 100% better on the out side, and this docking bay is as big as the one at HQ.

James: not quit but close. Let’s check out the rest of the place.

James was met by, Mary Lou Suarez who introduced herself as the station manager then introduced her assistant Vince Sandoval and her Maintenance Supervisor

James: glade to meet you, This is my partner Vice President and wing man Jeff Collins Jeff greets them and shakes hands, James then turns to Mary and asks: could you show me the station,

Mary; sure I let these two get back to work and I’ll show you the station, I am impressed with the changes, I’m sure you will be too.

James & Jeff follow Mary thru the station. As she pointed out the new features, and explained that they had 6 Shops to be rented and that Umbel had a shop in the station that would open in 3 Tazuras and that a Satellite shop was to open in 2 Tazuras, She showed him the trade center that was stocked as well as an argon trade station, then she took him to the Lounge introduced him to the Management and they had Lunch, After lunch Mary showed them the quarters area, James noted that most of the nicer quarters were located in the new towers, there were enough apartments to hold 300, and there were 10 Suites
5 of them were occupied by station personnel, 150 of the apartment were occupied, 25 were short term rentals, Mary explained that the security system were being upgraded like the one in HQ, were a security card would be needed to get to the quarters and station support areas, but the main trade area would be open.

James: thank you for the tour and I am impressed with the upgrades, do you have enough patrol ships? And do you think you will need any transports stationed onboard?

Mary: we have 6 patrol ships I think 10 would do better and a transport or two would be good to have around. I don’t know what we would have done if eagle one hadn’t been here, there were a few times that pirate patrols were in the sector bet ran when Eagles patrol headed toward then.

James: I’ll try to get you 4 more patrol ships maybe 9 so you will have escorts for the transports and see about some transports, we may set up a shipping station here with you if the need arises.

Mary: that would be very good.

James & Jeff headed back to there ships, James: what do you think Jeff you been offal quite throughout the tour,

Jeff: I like the improvements, and I agree with you 15 patrol ships are needed in this area, a shipping port would be good, if we can secure this sector.

James: well have to see what the demand is; we might put another station here if it turns out to be profitable.

Let’s head back to the Phoenix 2.

Jeff: ok and heads to his ship,

James enter his Ship Lake lets go to the Phoenix,

Jake: roger hatch secured lifting off. Scanner has picked up a group of unidentified fighters entering sector.

James: on screen, he then sees 3 falcons 3 busters and a Harrier Hauler but the friend foe has not identified them, he also sees the three Patrol fighter turn toward the incoming group, James Jeff lets back up the patrol,

Jeff: ok I’m on your 9.

James: Jake set intercept course for the patrol notify the patrol leader that we will back them up.

Jake: course set Ldr notified. Intercept in 15 Sezuras, 10 Sezuras, 5 Sezuras 4,3,2,1 Thrusters Off, group identified as Pirate firing range in 10 Sezuras 9,8,7,6,5,4, engaging tgt 4 falcon, shields at 70% tgt launching missiles turrets tracking , engaging, 2 missiles destroyed, 1 tracking Hawk 2, destroyed, tgt shields at 15% 10 % pilot ejected, engaging tgt 5 falcon shields at 30% 15% pilot ejecting tgt 6 disabled, engaging tgt 7 Harrier, incoming message, tgt 7stop f****** firing at me I surrender,
Jake: tgt 7 engines stopped shields down,

James: eject or we will blow you out of the ship,

Tgt 7: ok ok I’m ejecting,

Jake: pilot ejected, capping ship scanning, ejecting space weed and space fuel,

James Jeff cap the other falcons and pick up the pilots,

Jeff roger tgt 6 capped, scanned clear, capping tgt 5 scanning space weed ejected,

Randy: James thanks for the assist, we could have handled it.

James: Randy I didn’t know you were still in sector,

Randy: well you did assign me as instructor for these new pilots,

James yes I did, but why do you only have 3 fighters up?

Well it’s a long story, can I land these busters on the Phoenix and Ill meet you in the briefing room to explain,

James: sure I have the Phoenix put up a larger cap to patrol till we are done.

Randy: thanks,

James: Chris take over sector security till I can talk to you,

Chris roger launching tm 1,

James noted that 6 fighters depart the Phoenix 2 and take up a patrol formation,

Jake: all captured ships heading to the Phoenix 2, course set landing in 20 Sezuras,

Jeff: Ill follow you in,

James: roger

Jake: entering ship, landing, hatch open,

James exited the ship and waited for Jeff,

Jeff: that was a good engagement,

James: Ill have Mike check out the ships, that’s three more Falcons for our trainees, let’s go to the briefing room, turns and leads the way. As James enters the room he found Chris Mike Sam and Derrick Townsend along with his assistant Sonja Trujillo Flight Deck Assistant (CAG) and Erick Jennings Security Chief, James and Jeff took there seats

James: Lets wait for Randy, Erick there are three pilots held in Jeff’s ship and Randy has some to will you move them to the brig for questioning, Mike I want you and Sam to check out the captured ships and inventory what they were carrying, send the 3 falcons to be upgraded,

Erick: I have Tm 1 securing the Pirates, Randy has landed and the captured ships are docked

Mike: OK, do you need us for the briefing?
James: yes you need to know what is going on.

Randy walks in and takes a seat,

James: Randy how is the training going,

Randy: very well but I don’t think the 6 pilots that are assigned here can handle the intrusions, there has been several in the last few Tazuras, Eagle 1 has been keeping the patrols up, and when the patrol heads toward the Pirates they head back thru the east gate.

James: Ill have the Phoenix 1 bring the other 4 pilots and stay here while the Phoenix 2 takes me to KE to pick up the new ships, do you think 10 ships can handle this area?

Randy, unless the pirates mount an evasion force, but a carrier would be nice to have till the area is secured.

James: Ill think about that, I am adding 3 transports and 5 escort ships; I guess they can back up the stations security to. Randy Id like for you to take the station CAG Position

Randy: well I guess so, ok I’ll take it but I would like an assistant to help out with the paper work.

James: ok Ill see that you get a good pilot, that will give you 17 Fighters on station and three Sparrows,

Randy I will take good care of then and the station.

Chris: I will keep the sector patrols up till the Phoenix 1 arrives,

James: ok Ill call Tracy and have her jump here. James opens his communicator and selects Tracy, Hello, Tracy I need you to bring the 4 pilots for Ore belt and bring Hayford Leann and her ship,

Tracy, I bee there in 2 Stazuras,

James: Good, How are the upgrades coming,

Tracy: very well I think you will like the ships finished designs.

James: see you soon and disconnects the communications link.

James: Tracy will be here soon and I’m having her bring Leann Hayford as your assistant Randy,

Randy: Yes she is an excellent pilot and has good administrative skills, Thanks.

James: your welcome, If you need any thing let me know, Jeff get with the communication and set up an emergency signal that that will have our ships jump in when a station is under attack.

Jeff: we already have a quick response signal, I see that it get set up on the station.

James: ahh ok. Let’s get to work unless you have something to add?

No one spoke up so the group left,

James: Chris do you think we could use another carrier like this one?

Chris: it could come in handy but is got a high operating cost, unless you put it to work along with adding protection to the sector it’s operating in, I’m sure that Tracy would be more then happy to command it for you.

James: I’ll bring it up to the partners and see how it goes over, I think I’ll go and look over the ships, let me know when Tracy gets in sector, James turns and head out of the briefing room,

Chris: ok, and follows James out turns and heads to the bridge.

James enter the landing bay and heads to the repair bay, There were two security guards standing in front of the bay doors, Rebecca Reynolds and Morgan Gould,

Rebecca: hello Mr. Hawk

James: Hi, how’s it going?

Rebecca: Quite

James good is Mike in the repair bay?

Rebecca: yes along with Jeff and Sam

James: have a good one and Morgan opened the door for him, James entered the bay and saw mike and Jeff talking by the Harrier as he approached, they looked up,

Mike James we found a security chest that was booby trapped, I disarmed it and opened it, we found a map and a list of supplies along with 22,098,765 credits,

James: Were does the map lead to?

Mike: I’m not sure; I don’t recognize the sector layout.

James: send it to Jake and see if he can identify it.
Mike: ok. Mike scanned the map and sent it to Jake, asked him to try to identify it and notify James when done.

Jeff: these Falcons are in good shape, they should be ready in a couple of Tazuras.

James: good, will you try to find some pilots to train the trainees,

Jeff, ok I’ll check out the pilots list and find the best ones to train the recruits.
Jeff open his data pad and opens the pilot lists and assigns the following.

James was looking over the list of items found on the ships when his new message notification chimed,
James look at the selection list from Jeff, James: good job Jeff I thing the selections are good, Notify the trainees at dinner and I’ll forward this to the pilots. James forwarded the listing to the Pilots, then went back to reviewing the items list,

James: sell them.

Mike: will do.

James: I’m going to the bridge, see you at dinner. James left the repair bay and headed to the bridge. James entered the bridge : Chris has Tracy call in?

Chris: no but I can check on her if you like?

James: get her on the line,

Carmen: roger, Phoenix 1 communication Established,

James: on screen. Hi Tracy are you ready to jump yet?

Tracy: I’m Pulling in my patrol should be jumping in 10 Mizuras, I had 10 of the Upgraded Falcons moved to HQ, loaded the pilots and there ships,

James: good we’ll wait for you and have dinner when you get here.

Tracy: ok see you soon. the connection closed.

James waited on the bridge and watched the sector screen, saw a couple of blips but no ships were near but the patrol the Phoenix had launched, the Phoenix 1 arrived on schedule, and parked next to the Phoenix 2, Tracy beamed in to the bridge, as James watched 5 Hawks depart the Phoenix 1 and head toward the station,

James: Chris keep the cap up till midnight then Tracy can take over till Randy has his crews organized. Hopefully by 0600 then he can take over sector security, send him a message to that effect,

Chris: roger

James: Tracy lets go to the mess hall and find a quite table.

Tracy: ok

Chris: I’ll be there in a couple of sezuras,

James: ok, and walked off the bridge with Tracy following,

They entered the mess hall found a table in the back and sat down,

Grover walked up and asked if he could take there orders,

James: Just bring some coffee and ice tea for now we will wait for the other to arrive before we order.

Grover: ok, I’ll be right back, urns and leaves.

James: Tracy I think we will be getting another Phoenix 2 I was wondering if you like to Captain it?

Tracy: I would love to.

James: we’ll be going to KE in 2 Tazuras, I want you to go with me.

Tracy: I can do that, I’ll turn the Phoenix 1 over to Randle and let him find an XO,

James: while we are waiting for the ship I’ll let you select the crew, it will have more fighters then the Phoenix 2 and your main mission will be to protect the companies interests, we will be putting two stations in Aladna Hill and possibility of another HQ here in Ore belt, were you will be stationed.

Jeff, Mike, Sam and Chris arrived and sit down,

James: Tracy has agreed to take the Phoenix 3,

They all congratulated her,

Grover: returned with the coffee and Ice tea, and cups and glasses set them on the table and offered to pore the drinks, then took there orders,

Tracy: James I would like Chuck Conder to be my XO,

James: Good choice, Mike contact him and have him come here.

Mike: ok

Jeff: the trainees have been informed of there assignments, and the pilots will pick them up tomorrow.

James: sounds good, remember we are going to AP to meet Thresica tomorrow.

Jeff: that’s right I forgot, but the pilot don’t need me here to collect there charges.

Grover returned with there meals and passed them out, asked if any thing else was needed , then left.

After dinner James, mike, Sam and Jeff went to the repair bay to look at Sam’s Memba.

James I like the paint job, Sam had painted it a matt black with the Hawk emblem on the sides.

Sam: it’s a new radar absorbing finish, I’ve upgraded the power plant and the shielding, and maxed tuned the engine and steering.

Jeff: how fast is it?

Sam I’ve gotten it up to 900ms.

James: lets take it for a spin.

Sam: go ahead I’ll wait here,

James: Jeff you fly I’ll ride,

Jeff: Ok and enters the ship and straps into the pilot seat.

James gets into the Co-Pilot seat and straps in.

Jeff gets clearances and has the hatch secured, then departs the ship, once in space he open up the thrusters, The ship accelerates quickly and the turning was good and tight.

Jeff flies to the patrol team and buzzes thru them. Heads toward the north gate, then back around to the Phoenix 2 and lands,
James exits the ship first, walks over to Sam and Mike, : You did a good job on it Sam,

Sam: I like it,

Jeff walks up : it flies good Sam.

Sam: mike you want to take her out.

Mike said no he wanted to retire for the night,

James: I think I’ll go to my room and get ready for tomorrow. Turns and follows Mike to the quarters area, bid him a good night and enters his quarters, gets cleaned up and goes to bed.
