What is the role of the M8?

I capped a pirate peregrine M8 with very little hull damage and was chuffed as i'm still flying about in my M4 Sabre.
Its worth a few credits, but I can't see that its worth repairing as it is slow (100ms max speed) and has poor shields (5 or 6 x 25mj). Its missile compatability is poor as well and it doesnt have a hanger.

I was wondering if anyone could give me a reason not to sell it? I dont realy need the cash, but i could put it towards a better fighter.

The M8 is a H. Bomber. Think B-52. It's use would be taking out caps and stations. Load it up with Tomahawks or other heavy missiles. It is a bit usless as anything else. My advice, sell it for now. They are easy to cap
