the code is in place to allow playership boarding, but its never been tested

there are not NPC boarding ships, so to get it working, u will have to add these to the universe and give them the boarding command.

this could either be a simple addition to the jobs engine, or created via an AL plugin.

all the script commands to make an NPC boarding command are in place


and it was original left out because we believed it would annoy too many ppl if they started looking thier capital ships to the AI

So what limitations are there in regards to Boarding and how could it be made more interesting? I notice there are certain items within the game like side-arms and various others of the sort, of course realizing that some of these are commodities used for trading, but would it also be possible to in a sense equip these to your marines to increase their odds of success?

Also is it possible to have a smaller ship use a smaller version of the Boarding Pod missile. Maybe only 1 or two marines to the projectile, but not to capture other small fighters just the usual corvet class and up. What would the boundries around this be?
