XGamer.
The reason there are "two" entries appears because for example the Argon Mercury Super-freighter can be bought as S, M , L variants. Differing ONLY in initial equipment and upgrades (and therefore price).
But ALL versions can be upgraded to the MAX speed and CARGO (for the class) and S, M, L variation is NOT a restriction on MAX speed, only initial purchase speed. (I am sure you already know this.) Its not really a problem
For me, the spreadsheet IS locked, and requires a password to use filters.
The Excel 2007 Ribbon is also "greyed-out." The pivot-table IS sortable, but the regular filters are not.
Easy to bypass, though as Chernish (Thu, 23. Oct 08, 09:00) said simply copy and paste each worksheet into a new workbook.
After I put all the data into a *new* workbook, I sorted by ship class and then stripped the ship data into separate tabs, one for each ship class M3, M4, M5, M6 etc because usually I am not interested in absolute values like MAX speed but a combination of parameters in comparison to get the "best" ship overall for the class. Hence my fleets are a real ragtag bag of the best ship in each class from different races.
Thanks again for the spreadsheet. XGamer rocks!
