Hello there!

First of all thanks for your work Wink

But i still have a little Problem. One thing is, that the command is "read-text" and some points in the cheatmenu are read-text too (i.e. the one between train marines and add marines).

Is there anything i could do to solve the problem?


EDIT: I use the german version of X³-AP

The only thing you can do is to use the english T-File 1000-L044.xml and change the first line in it to 049 or PM me your Mailadress and I send you my changed one. As I described in the german thread there are missing some entries in the german t-file.
But put it into the directory T in x3TC not in the addon folder.

Is there a way to change the productivity of the stations? I have some stations who are producing hella slow Razz just wanna cheat so they CANNONBALL stuff out Surprised, Is this possible? I did it with a silicon mine, by creating an asteroid with 999999 yield, produces 300 products at a time, in 1 min. Any other stations cheats like this? Oops... Or just mines and asteroids... Please help! Cycrow, plz add!

Howdy,

cordinbird mentioned that cycrow had created a mod/script which randomises the location of the 19 abandoned starting ships in X3TC. Is that feature part of the cheat package?

It doesn't sound much like a cheat! Razz

He said it in that thread that you just linked (see below) Page 2 about half down. I'm probably misinterpreting what he means though. I'm using cordinbirds mod anyway and it's definitely got rid of the original abandoned wrecks. Guess I'll just have to wait until I find a new one to be sure it's working.

What crashes? The game, the manager, a plane? When crashes it? Is there any error message? If so, post it.

Can someone help me installing this script onto a Mac Version os X3 AP?

I can't extract the SPK file with the utility listed in one of the other forums. Sound like I just need the contents of the Scripts and T folder from someone who already installed the SPK on a Windows machine.

Would really appreciate the help!

1. Download the latest plugin manager
2. Install it
3. Run it
4. If it doesn't detect you game installation, goto add directory and manually select it

once the plugin manager is setup, there are several ways to install it.

You can double click on the spk file
You can right click and goto install
You can drag the file into the plugin manager window
You can choose the option in the plugin manager to install

Hello,

Unfortunately, it seems like your packages are breaking my game. I played with them previously just fine with tons of scripts, mods, and extra custom ships. Was beautiful. Now there's a bunch of crazy behavior with these steam versions / different system.

Game just wont start. Nothing happens after clicking shortcut. Rare times it does. Same behavior starting from Plugin Manager, direct exe., etc. Running as admin = no help. Exiting restarting steam, disabling cheat package in plugin manager, etc. worked a couple times, but often also has no effect.

In certain games, fresh starts, etc. ships weapons don't fire. Nothing happens when pulling the trigger / pressing button. Other starts, ships fire fine. Terran start has camera in middle of ship so space is seen through wireframe ship. Doesn't happen in vanilla before installation of mgr / packages.

Many xsp ships are invisible. May randomly show up after uninstalling, reinstalling. They often come up "invisible" with only the green hud square showing. Other times they don't even show up at all in the "create ship" list in the cheat, though they were installed and show as fine out of game in the plugin mgr.

Have uninstalled and reinstalled entire titles, with no results. Took out all the mods and ships, registry entries, etc. and only installed the plugin mgr and cheat package and got the behavior, so it is narrowed down to one of those.

Win 8
i7 920
24g memory
2 X GTX 580's 3G SLI
2 X 480g Solid State in RAID 0
1200W Corsair PS
3 X Viewsonic VS3D245's in 6010 x 1080

Beneath the hood, Win 8 is really just Win 7, and I was running the same SLI and monitor setup before when everything was fine with all the mods and extras... I have hard copy of TC but recently registered it with steam and bought AP through steam. I wouldn't be opposed to buying hard copy of AP if that would solve the problem, but hate to waste money if not.

there is a current problem with the plugin manager installing ships into AP.
sometimes the patch files get curropt and this causes the game to not run at all.

the fix is to simply delete the created patch file.

the invisible ships are also related to this, as the patch files is what stores the models of the installed ships

Ah, ok, thank you much... However when I delete all ships, I still have the problem of not being able to run the game.

You say the fix is to delete the current patch file... I'm unsure to which file you're referring. The ship file, the plugin mgr, the cheat package, the game patch file itself (reverting to an older version)...

Also, it breaks my heart to not be able to use those custom ships, so I try playing Terran Conflict but the cheat package isn't there. I've tried renaming my pilot to Thereshallbewings, but that doesn't do anything that I can see.

I suspect I'm probably missing or not understanding some simple things here, but I appreciate it.
