James woke at 0700 Local shaved and put on his flight suit, he was picking up when he heard a knock at the door, walked over and opened it , Chris was standing there with two cups of coffee, Come in and he reached for the offered coffee, Chris walked in,

Chris: I checked the logs for last night there were no incidents recorded, Robert said that it was dead except for a few traders and two taxies, Tm 2 is now on alert with 2 fighters patrolling they have coordinated with Eagle Ones CAP and the sector is clear.

James: good, Let’s go to the mess hall,

Chris: ok and opens the door, and walked out into the hall, where he was greeted By Jeff and Mike,

Mike: we were coming to wake you up,

James: I’m up, were headed to the mess hall join us,

Jeff: that was our next stop, my tank is getting low,

Mike: your tank is always low like Sam’s who is probably all ready at the mess hall filling up.

Jeff: I sent Justin to the mess hall, what do you want me to do with him to day.

James: if he is ready but him in a ship, if not let him co pilot.

Jeff: I think I’ll let him fly and I’ll copilot.

James: ok ,

They entered the mess hall, Sam was sitting with Tracy and Justin was sitting with some of the other crew members, James walked up to Tracy mind if we join you

Tracy: no, pleas take a seat, I want to ask what can I do today,

James takes a seat , What do you want to do ?

Tracy: Fly escort,

James: I guess you can fly Mike’s ship He’ll be with the penetration teams, Sam can be your wingman, and Jeff and myself will be with you. And you can drop the sat for me.

Tracy: that’s fine,

Domenic: what can I get for you?

James: Hot cakes please,

Jeff: a western omelet toast and OJ

Mike: Hot cakes, and OJ

Chris: I’ll try the hot cakes and OJ

James: I’ll have some OJ also

Domenic: I’ll be right back with the Juice,

Mike: James with all the personnel and the 4 battle drones we’ll have to use three shuttles,

James: that would look to suspicious cut it down to two shuttles and have the third one standing by to launch, once the power is off and we jump in it can launch and assist at that point ok,

Mike: ok I’ll put the engineers and some of the security forces with them.

Chris: are we using my sparrows or the others?

James: Use sparrow 3, 12 there the most experienced pilots beside Gary who is not here.

Chris: OK

Domenic arrived with the juice and glasses, passed them out filled them and left.

James: Mike are the battle drones set to immobilize, or render unconscious,

Mike: to incapacitate.

James: that will work. you going to send them in first, I doubt they will have any thing large enough to disable them and we wont have to worry about our people getting caught in the cross fire.

Mike: yes about 30 Sezuras, before our people.

Domenic arrived with the breakfast cart and passed out the meals, then left.

After breakfast Chris went back to the Bridge, Jeff and Justin went to their ship, James followed Mike to his workshop to inspect the battle drones,

As they enter the workshop Mike activated one of the drones, it immediately scanned the area and reported no hostiles,

James: how does it know that I’m not a hostile?

Mike: I have loaded it with all of our bio information, that is all of our employees, and I have badges for the supporting personnel,

James: that thing would scar the bejesus out of me if it just appeared.

Mike that’s the plan to confuse and incapacitate, its first weapon is a knock out grenade, then a stun gun \, but has a laser of it decides that it is in mortal danger, or senses a rocket launcher or other heavy weapons,

James: I just hope it don’t blow up the whole station.

Mike I will be controlling it after we enter, I have Anthony Quinn from Phoenix 1 tm1 security leader controlling the one that will transport onto the bridge. And, Erick Jennings from Phoenix 2 tm 1 controlling the other one that will transport in to the docking bay. And Claire Chen will control the one that helps capture the station personnel.

James: Ill leave it to you. I’m going to see if our guests have arrived yet. Then left the workshop and to the docking bay, were he watch to argon shuttles landing, he watched as the personnel departed the ship and form up. And march away, then the shuttles departed and two more landed unloaded and departed then four landed unloaded and departed James each shuttle could carry 15 combat load troops that’s 90 and there being 168 to a company he figured that 6 more shuttles full were coming, but after the eight one landed He begin to wonder what was going on. When a Capt approached and introduced him self,
Capt Langley: I,m Will Langley commander of B Co 8/234 Special Operations Battalion and I have 2nd Platoon of A Co 8/234 th,

James: good to meet you I was getting worried that the whole battalion was landing.

Will: no just us and I like to see your shuttles I was told they will hold 60 troops ea.

James: it has seating for 60 but there is a storage room and a small kitchen onboard, I guess the equipment could be stored in the storage room but we will be carrying two battle drones in them.

Will: can I take a look?

James: sure follow me, and he lead him to Sparrow 3 and saw Mike loading two Battle drones.

Will: those are some ugly suckers,

James: that’s the whole ideal scare the bejesus out of them and take em down,

Will: I guess so, don’t think Ill ask where you got them,

James: wouldn’t do you any good cause I don’t know where they come from and Mike is the handler, and you need to talk to him and get badges for your personnel, so that thing doesn’t mistake them as a threat.

Will: I’ll do that now while we are in side.

James let me go in first and make sure that they are deactivated, ok

Will: you bet cha. Call me when its clear.

James: ok and enters the ship, Mike are the drones still active?

Mike no I shut them down for now.

James: good I have Capt Langley with me he wants to see the shuttle and get with you on the number of badges.

Mike: sure, ask him in.

James: turns a stick his head out of the hatch, Come on in Will

Will enters the ship

James: Will this is Mike Strong one of my partners,

Will: good to meet you, are your pets secured ?

Mike laughs yes I put them to sleep for now.

James: I’m going to the bridge. Turns and leaves the ship.

James: enters the bridge, walks up to Chris, Looks like were ready for war, all of those ships part of our group?

Chris: all but Eagle One, and there is a cruiser blocking the South gate, The TS has Fighters and Sector Police blocking the East Gate and Eagle has fighters and Sector Police blocking the West Gate, that leaves the North gate open for travel to Argon Prime with Sector Police scanning all traffic.

James: what about ships Jumping in?

Chris: the gates control that and all request have to go thru Sector Police HOL is under Marshal Law till Noon.

James: have all the ships reported in?

Chris: about 20 Mizuras ago, we are on schedule for our 09:00 Jump off

James looks at his watch 8:51, I better get to my ship and prepare to go. Turns and leaves the bridge, upon entering the docking bay, he sees the hatches close on the shuttles, he hustles to his ship walks in : Jake prep to depart .

Jake: roger , Securing hatch,

James climes in to his seat straps in and checks the ship status, satisfied with the load out and weapon status, he puts on his helmet.

Jake: lifting off, departing ship, course set to South Gate,

James looks at the scanner H2 in position Sparrow 3,13 fallowing, with H3,4 trailing

Jake: formation established, Gate arrival in 4 Mizuras,

As James approaches the gate,

James: Jake take us thru.

Jake; roger, entering gate, entering sector ore belt, no ships detected, FFID off on all ships.

James: you have the course to the safe lane?

Jake: roger it was uploaded to all ships as we departed the carrier.

James: arm weapons and shields to max.

Jake; weapons armed shields at 120% speed 80 Kms, scans clear. 10 Mizuras till tgt.

James: watches the scanners the group is in a good travel formation.

Jake: 5 Mizuras till tgt scans clear, LT’s are in stand by, entering safe lane, all stop transports in safe lane station in 1 Mizura, transporters active, Sparrow 3 entering station, sparrow 12 entering station, LT inactive power drop power off no shields detected on station, Hawk 3 deploying Nav Sat. incoming transmission objectives secured.
Jake Jump signal detected.

James watches the scanners as the Phoenix 3 transports and 4 cruisers appear 20 Ks to his rear, then 3 sparrows exit the Phoenix and head toward the station and enter.

30 Mizuras pass, Jake: incoming transmission,

Mike: station secure No causalities, repeat No causalities, will start transporting in 10 Mizuras, out.

Jeff: that’s good news.

James; notices that the troop transport are closing in on the station. and stops at 5 Km out.

Jake: the station is under AI control LT are deactivated, station power coming online, transporter activity detected.

30 Mizuras pass , Jake: incoming transmission,

Mike: transport of station personnel complete. Station under Hawk Security control, fighters can land, out

James: I guess he wants to talk to me, Jake land on the station, Hawk 3,4 maintain CAP, Chris, initiate station security plan Alpha,

Chris: roger,

Jake: entering station,

James noted the 5 sparrows and about 30 other ships in the landing area,

Jake: landed, opening hatch.

James exited the ship Mike was waiting for him

Mike: James it was an easy take down, most of them were out from drinking, they had a party last night, I want to show you the stuff we found in the secret vault.

James: good job, I’m glad they were captured with no losses, lead on, James follows Mike to the engine room were the engineers were working on the power supply, one walked up to James,

Bob Carroll Engineering Officer: Mr Hawk this engine surprises me it shouldn’t be working at all, and we can only get 60% power from it, I don’t think it will last long, and the Electrical Engineer Rickey Zamora, tells me that the wiring is a night mare, and that it should be replaced if we are keeping this place. Other reports I gotten are just as bad, I’ll have a complete report in 6 Stazuras.

James: thank you, I’ll look it over and decide what we will do with the place, Is the Environmental systems ok?

Bob: as far as I know the Environmental Engineer Ali Harvey said they are working but didn’t elaborate on the condition of it.

James: ok, let me know of any problems.

Bob: will do.

Mike: this way, and led on to the back of the room behind some large crates that were stacked up to the ceiling, and press the trim at the bottom of the section of wall, and the panel slid open to revile a vault door with a key pad, Mike entered a code and the vault opened. Inside there were crates of weapons, power supplies, and 3 chest of gold coins,
and several creates of other equipment, then Mike went to the back of the vault and opened another door with a key pad, and it led to a secret passage that had several exits and ended up on the bridge area,

James: well done Mike, I will leave the station to you, I need to get back to the Phoenix and make a report to Commander Danna, we will meet later and decide what we are going to do with this place, send the personnel you don’t need to the phoenix and well send then back to there station from there, I’ll have Chris maintain the CAP to take care of any fighters returning, James then left the bridge area and found his way back to the dock area, Jeff was waiting for him,

Jeff: I have looked over these ships some are in good shape, others need a lot of work, found 134,897 in gold credits, and some small arms, had it loaded in my ship,

James: good I think these ships will make good trainers for our young pilots, and it will be an incentive if they get to keep the ship after training.

Jeff: yes it would, so we need Phoenix 1 to jump in and load em up for repair and upgrades,

James: yes that’s a good Ideal, lets get back to Phoenix 2 and we talk to Tracy and Chris,

Jeff: ok and Justin found his old stuff, his bags had been gone thru and most of it was gone, I told him he didn’t need it, that we will take care of the clothing.

James: give him 10,000 cr and let him replace it or save it, tell him it a bonus for his help in capturing this place.

Jeff: laughs he love that,

James walks over to his ship and enters, Jake lets go to the Phoenix 2,

Jake: roger, hatch secured, undocking, departing station,

James: Tracy meet me on the Phoenix 2,

Jake: entering ship, landing, hatch open,

James departs the ship, and waits for Tracy to land, watches her and Sam enter the ship, and head to a landing spot, and walks over to her ship, Tracy we need to ask for your help lets go to the briefing room, Jeff, Sam come too.

James leads the way and calls Chris and has him meet them in the briefing room,

As they enter the room, Chris is poring coffee for James,

Tracy: I’ll take one of those,

Jeff, Sam get a class of Juice, and sit down

Tracy sat down and Chris hands Her a cup of coffee, then one to James, picks his up and takes a seat.

Chris: wats up.

James: There are around 30 ships docked in the station in need of upgrading and repair, I want to use these as an incentive for young pilots, and I need options on how we can accomplish it, Jeff says to have Phoenix 1 jump in and load the ships, repair what they can and have HQ take care of the rest, Tracy Can you handle that?

Tracy: with the ships I have onboard the Phoenix I can only load 17 more that leaves 13 on station, I can do it with two trips,

Chris: we can hold 60 fighters our complement is 23 plus your 4 and the 9 falcons we captured yesterday that leaves 24 slots open, If Tracy jumps in and loads up, and we take the 13 with us, that should do it, and if you don’t want to take them with us we could jump back to the HQ and unload them.

James: I like that Ideal better, and Tracy bring HQ’s FTm 2 back with you to provide fighter support for the station, and Ill have Eagle One jump here to repair the station and drop some more LT’s,

James’ communicator buzzed, he grabbed it and looked at the display, Mike wats up

Mike: I was exploring the passage we found and came across a docking bay with 5 ships 2 were memba raiders that have been modified 2 modified falcons and one ship that looks like it an xenon ship, that I am having problems getting in to, I think we need to take a close look at these ships, can I send them to the Phoenix ?

James: make sure there are no traps on them and send them here we’ll dock them in the repair bay.

Mike: wilco.

James: Mike found some more ships that he thinks we need to look at, he’s sending them over Chris put them in the repair bay under guard ok,

Chris: roger

James: Tracy go ahead and have Randle get the flight team from HQ and jump here,

Tracy: roger, and leaves the briefing room,

James turns to Jeff Mike says the ships he found have been modified, and that one looks to be xenon but he has not been able to get in to it yet, when they land check them out and let me know what modifications have been made ok

Jeff: roger, Sam come with Me I may need you to fly one of them.

Sam: cool, and gets up t follow Jeff,

James pulls out his communicator calls Harold, I need you to bring the Eagle to Ore Belt , hold position west of Phoenix 2,


Harold: Roger, is there any special equipment I will need, James: yes two LT’s and a power supply large enough for a station.

Harold: I have the power supplies, Ill send my Sparrow for the LT’s have you gotten any engineer report yet?

James just verbal should have the written report in a Stazura, Ill send it to you as soon as I get it.

Harold: ok Ill get some supplies also and stand by for the report.

James: ok, out Then has communicator buzzed, Hello Col what can I do for you

Col Winston: I’m calling to let you know that all of the detainees are secure and all of my personnel or back on board, that was a fine operation, the only time I seen one the went with out a hitch or two, and to ask you where can I get some of those battle drones you used?

James, they’re not on the market yet, But I’ll let Commander Danna know when we start producing them. Have you contacted Commander Danna on the Operation?

Col Winston: I sent an initial report I’m still working on the final one.

James: ok Ill give him a call thank you for your support, Maybe we will do this again.

Col Winston: call me,

James I will. And disconnects then calls Ban, Commander Danna this is James Hawk,

Aid: one Sezura please,

James: the support group is heading home with the gusts, and I’ve got people repairing the station, I wanted to thank you for your help,

Ban: Glad to and Ill send you a report on the guests when I get it sorted out,

James: thank you,

Ban: Ok James, and Ill stop by for dinner some time,

Tracy enters the briefing room, My ship is on the way,

James: ok, Tracy use the replicater, but don’t hesitate to buy new, if there is any parts you need contact Salas in KE,

Tracy: will do, I guess you want them maxed out,

James: Yes, by the time these young men go out own there own, most of these ships will be obsolete but we wont tell them that now.

Tracy; laughs I know you had a mean strict somewhere.

James: not mean, or dishonest the truth, the ships I offer them is better then any of them could afford, if they pass the training program then stay for a Jazura, If I were them and got to fly a Hawk I wouldn’t want a Falcon, and the pay is not bad ether.

Tracy: your right I wouldn’t want to fly a Falcon or a Nova, the Hawk out performs ether of them hands down.

James: Lets go get some lunch,

Tracy: is it that time already and looks at her watch 1300 local, Time fly’s when you are having fun. Lets Go

James opens the door and they head to the mess hall,

James: when will you be able to come back here?

James: were in the mess hall, come now and bring the data, and see if the engineers have their report ready, I need it so Eagle can get the supplies needed to repair the station.

James and Tracy sat down,

Madeleine walked up, What Can I get you,

Tracy: Ice tea,

James: The same, thank you,

Chris and Jeff enter the mess hall and walk up to the table and sit down,

Jeff: mike was right those ships have had some extensive modifications done to them. Speed, Rudder, Shields, all have been improved,

James: any thing we need to worry about?

Jeff: I don’t think so, the power plant on those ships can’t maintain the required power for very long, Sector Police will Have problems with them and probably the navy too. But it still no match for the Hawk,

James: Good but I will have to send a report to Ban,

Mike: I’ll send you the specifications,

James: ok , then spots Mike entering the mess hall

Mike walks up and sits down, then hands his data pad to James,

James looks over the data, then sends a copy to his computer on the ship.
Good Job Mike were you able to get in to the Xenon ship,

Mike: no had to give up two many interruptions, Ill get back to when I have time, I know I can break the code,

Jeff: I want to see it, and I have completed testing the other ships you sent over,

Mike: I’ll show it to you after dinner if you like,

James: Tracy’s ship is on the way and Eagle One will be here as soon as we determine the supplies needed, I want the Falcons on station along with the ones we captured Yesterday shipped back to the HQ for repairs and upgrades,

Jeff: we can send one of the modified ones as a model to go from,

James: I thought you said they had problems?

Jeff: the ship no the power supplier yes, but we have one that is more then capable of handling the power requirements.

James: ok send one and have our power supply installed, but I want it tested before it used as a model for the other ships,

Tracy: I’ll take care of that,

James: good, mike did the engineers have their report ready?

Mike: no, but Bob said he have it done in 30 Mizuras the others were completing there reports and sending them to him.

James: thanks for checking for me.

Mike: no problem Lets eat,

Madeleine: Can I take your order,

Mike: argnu stake medium with fries and salad, ranch dressing

Chris: stake sandwich with a salad and no dressing

Madeleine: I’ll get the order in and bring some coffee and tea out. Then returned with two Carafes of coffee and a pitcher of tea, Ill be right back with your meals, and left

James: we’ll stay here tonight and jump to Aladna hill tomorrow,

Chris: that’s good I need to send Sparrow 12 for supplies,

Madeleine returned with the meals passed them out, asked if anything else was needed and left.

It was quite during the meal till Tracy’s communicator buzzed, she answered it, yes,
Thank you Randle, yes near the station, ok bye, and put her communicator away.

Tracy: Phoenix 1 is in sector and moving to the station.

James: good, let me know when you are ready to jump out,

Tracy: ok

They finished there meal and departed the mess hall.

James went to his ship to get the report ready for Ban, he entered the ship,

Jake: James you have several messages,

James I’ll take them in the cabin,

James sat down at his desk and viewed the messages, and forwarded the report from the Engineers to Harold , and started on the report for Ban, after he sent it he sat there thinking, Jake: has your AI been loaded on the Modified fighters,

Jake: not yet,

James: picks up his data pad and exits the ship, heads to the repair bay, Sam was there going over the ships,

James: Sam download our AI onto the fighters, I’ll start with the Falcons.

Sam: ok and heads to the Memba Raiders,

It took James over 20 Mizuras to upload the AI onto the Falcons, after he had finished he called Jake I want you to make a assessment on the ships modifications and to compare them to the Argon Nova, and Buster,

Jake: wilco,

James went to the closes Memba Rader and looked it over,

Sam exits the Memba, I have all ways liked this ship, I would like to work on these and see if I can improve on the modifications,

James: if that’s what you want its fine with me, the Falcons will be at the HQ, and you could ask Salas for assistance, or even Josh,

Sam; let me see what I’ve got then I go from there, all I’ve been able to due is fly it and look at it, I need to get into the engine and power supplies and see if I can add heavy shielding,

James: we have a better power supply and a engine and an improved Jump drive with the space saved you should be able to add a larger shield.

Sam: well see.

James: have you heard from Jeff or Mike?

Sam: not since dinner time when they told me they were going to look at the Xenon ship.

James: did you stop for dinner?

Sam: no I was flying the Memba,

James: Lets go Ill get you feed then check on Mike and Jeff.

Sam follows James to the Mess hall sees Hubert wiping down some tables and waves him over,

Hubert: what can I get you?

James: is it possible I can have some coffee, and a large Argu Stake for Sam he missed dinner,

Hubert: sure how do you want that cooked and would you like fries an a salad with that?

Sam: medium well with lots of fries ranch dressing an ketchup.

Hubert: and is coffee ok or iced tea,

Sam: Both,

Hubert: ok chuckles to him self and leaves, shortly returns with a tray with a pitcher of tea 2 glasses a Carafe of coffee with 2 cups sets it down pores James a cup of coffee then Sam one and a class of tea, your meal will be out shortly, the he continued cleaning tables,

Hubert arrived with Sam’s meal, and sat it down if front of him,

Hubert: your welcome is there anything else I can get you?

Hubert: very well, turns and leaves.

James: I need to check on the loading of Phoenix 1, and Jeff, I’m going back to the docking bay see you when you get finished, ok

James stands and leaves the mess hall, and heads to the docking area. Then his communicator buzzed, he looked at the display( Thresica ) he answers Hi wats up,

Thresica: I have 6 Pilots and three trainees that Josh Galen sent over, what do you want me to do with them?

James: Have them get Flight Suits and Jacket from Marissa’s and any other clothes they will need assign the Pilots H80 – H85 have them load there gear on their ship and when the Phoenix 1 returns have them load there ships on her and ship them and the trainees to me.

Thresica: ok every thing is going smooth here, and I heard that you had an easy time there, is there any thing I need to ship you?

James: I don’t think so, but thanks for asking, and call if any other developments arise, ok

Thresica: ok, Bye

James: Bye, and puts his communicator away and walks out onto the docking bay, watches as a ship that he hasn’t seen before lands, and Jeff exits it,

James: is that Xenon?

Jeff: yes and a new model at that ,

James how did you get it to open,

Jeff laughs: Mike always thinks things have to be coded, I told him to try open in binary and the hatch opened, and I flew it back here, I’m going to up load our AI and see what this baby can do,

James: that sounds good, we have 6 Pilots and three trainees coming from HQ, I’m going over to the station to ask Randy if he will train them for me.

Jeff: good luck. See you when you get back,

James: ok, and let me know how that thing compares to a nova.

James heads to his ship enters, Jake lets go over to the station,

James: exited his ship, and found Mike and Tracy talking , walks over and asks Tracy how the loading is going?

Tracy: slow these ships need a lot of repairs, we almost had a collision when the steering went out on one of them,

James: ok, be careful, there are some pilot and trainees at Hq I want you to bring back on your 2nd trip.

Tracy: aah Randle off loaded the fighters before he left the Hq, that made enough room to load all of the ships here in one trip,

James: I don’t want them Jumping before we have had a chance to train them,

James: you say he off loaded your fighters is the pilots with them?

Tracy: yes,

James: call your team leader and have him escort the new pilots here, that will take a Tazura and a half flying, and have the Trainees fly with your people ok

Tracy: wilco and pulls out her communicator and relays the instructions to Chuck her Tm 1 Ldr who asked her the rules of engagement if attacked or run across some Pirates,

Tracy thought a sezura then said defend your self’s and protect the ships, if a request for assistance is received use your own judgment and be paired to explain it.

Chuck: roger see you in 46 Stazuras,

Tracy: fly carefully.

Chuck: I will.

Tracy puts her communicator away and walks over to the shuttle that was landed, and enters.

James: Mike where is Randy?

Mike: looking for some quarters, to stay in,

James: I need to talk to him,

Mike: I’ll have him meet you here ok,

James watches as the ships depart the docking area and exit the station, some were flying wobbly some were flying canted,

Randy walked up to James : you wanted to talk to me,

James: turns to face him, yes I have some pilots flying in, I need you to train them so they can protect this station, ok

Randy: me train them, aaah James any thing but that,

James: well I’ll send them to the TS in HOL but you will have to stay here till they are trained and sent here.

Randy thinks things for a Sezura complicating the living conditions on the station,: ok Ill train them, when do they get here,?

James: Chuck is escorting them from Hq to here it take about a Tazura and a half,

Randy: can I call Chuck and pass on some instructions?

James sure.

Randy turns and leaves the docking area,

James pulls out His communicator and calls Harold,

Harold: Hi James we will be leaving here in 2 Stazuras

James: good, did you get the reports?

Harold: yes, I have Sparrow 4 shopping for the equipment we will need.

James leaves the ship, walks to the repair bay, Jeff & Sam were looking over the data I had sent them,

James: go ahead, we have the equipment.

Jeff: Ill modify one of the Falcons and test it the other one can be sent to HQ

James; we’ll be leaving tomorrow after noon for Aladna Hill

Jeff: I’ll have it done,

James: if you have to prefab any parts make doubles and set then in the other Falcon, and have the equipment made for the Memba also, I’ll be back after supper to work on it.

James heads to the bridge. Enters and walks up to Chris, Take a look at this and hands him the data pad showing the Specifications of the Modified ships and what they could be after upgrading,,

Chris: these could be a real threat to the Argon,

James: no not relay we are the only one with the modified equipment, but they were a threat to shipping and other pilots I want to know who made the design modifications and if there are more of these.

James taps Chris on the shoulder and steps up to the viewer, Tracy Have you loaded the Modified Falcon?

James: ok, recover your flight team from the Hq and jump back here tomorrow after noon,

James: I am sending you some data to look at, I’ll talk to you tomorrow. Then sends the data from his data pad to the Phoenix 1.

James: Chris I hope to be able to Jump to Aladna Hill tomorrow unless something comes up, let me know when Eagle 1 arrives,

Chris: we’ll be ready, I’ll call you when Eagle 1 is in sector.

James: I’m going down to the repair bay, turns and leaves the bridge.
When James entered the landing bay and turned to walk into the repair bay he was greeted by 2 security officers, Johnathan Sharp & Robert Farley

Johnathan: Hello Mr. Hawk

James: Hello is Jeff here?

Johnathan: yes he is inside.

James: thank you and enter the repair bay as Robert holds the door for him.

James walks up to Jeff, is the upgrades working as predicted?

Jeff: yes and I think this is even better then predicted, we can put a 125MJ shield in these and still have power to spare.

James that’s good, we will be jumping tomorrow, is there any thing I can do to help you with here?

Jeff: No I’ve got it covered , and Sam is putting the upgrades in the Memba, he loved that design.

James: It will give him something to tinker with, as long as he is happy, I am going to go and pack, call me if you need me.

Jeff: ok

James heads to his quarters. Packs a bag with three changes of clothes, and toiletries and other things that he thought he would need while away from the ship. Sent them to his ship. Then heads to the mess hall for dinner

James enters the mess hall and goes to sit down with Chris, Jeff and Mike,

James: I got my bags packed, did you get your packed?

Mike: yes and sent them to my ship.

Jeff: Not yet I’ll do it when I get ready for bed.

Chris: I hope you guys have a good trip.

James: I plan to. Have any of you seen Sam?

Jeff: he’s still tinkering with the Mamba fighter.

James: I’ll call him he’s got to eat, James opens his communicator and calls Sam:

Sam: yes

James: its time to eat, meet us in the Mess Hall,

Sam: is it that time all ready.

James: Yes, see you in 3 Mizuras, and closes the connection.

Hubert: Can I take your orders, and sets down a tray with cups and a create of coffee,

James: I like a Argnu stake sandwich with fries, the coffee is fine.

Jeff: I would like a argnu stake med well, fries and a salad with ranch dressing and could I have some ice tea.

Mike: that sounds good I’ll have the same, please

Chris: I’ll take the stake sandwich, and fries.

Hubert: I’ll be right back with some Ice tea, and order your meals. Turns and leaves

Sam walked into the mess hall and sets down next to Mike. Sorry I’m late, guess I got to distracted with the Memba,

James: ok but you got to eat, and you need to pack for our trip tomorrow,

Sam: can I sit this one out and stay on the Phoenix 2,

James: I guess so, but I will have Chris make sure that you don’t miss any meals.

Sam: ok

Chris: you mean I’ve got to baby sit him?

They all laugh it that one and Sam looked hurt,

James just make sure he doesn’t starve, ok

Chris: ok, I will.

Hubert returned with a Picher of ice tea and some glasses,
Sits them on the table then asked Sam what he would like to eat,

Sam: a Lg Stake medium with fries and a salad with house dressing and some dinner rolls

Hubert: I’ll be right back, turns and leaves.

Chris: Howard called a little while ago, said he found some more problems with the stations gravity generator, and is replicating the parts to repair it, says it will be working 150% better with the new parts. And that other repairs and upgrades are on schedule,

James: good, I hope he can get the station up by the time we get back.

Chris: I’m sure he will. I had some of me engineers go over to help they will be back by morning,

James: are there any engineers that we need to leave behind to help?

Chris: Ill ask Howard if he could user some help. The engineers need the practice,

James: whatever you think is best.

Hubert returned with the meals and passed them out, and asked if there was anything else he could get?

Sever shakes of heads and Herbert left.

The rest of the meal went quietly, after dinner they went to the lounge and sat and talked till Chris got ready to leave,

Chris: I’m going to the bridge to check on the status then I’m turning in for the night.


James: that sounds like a good ideal I think I’ll turn in now, if you need me give me a call.

Chris: ok. Then leaves the lounge.

Jeff: I think I’ll go and pack,

Sam: I want to go back to the repair bay,

James: some sleep would be better.

Sam I wont stay long.

James: ok but get some rest tonight,

Sam: ok mother.

Mike: laughs and says he is going to bed and follows Jeff out.

James heads to his quarters, Sam heads to the repair Bay.
