Steve! That's a killer of a clif hanger!!! It sounds like Max is in real trouble nnow. Looks like his only hope is Z now! Can she call the others and then take over the base?
Anyway, the PDA has a book reader in it. It will bookmark any point that I wish to stop.

Good to see the story's still going strong 
Rarr's investigations... hmmm...i'm wondering what's going to be revealed there, and will his report be what Max expects, can Rarr be trusted ? (I just hope Rarr hasn't worked as an investigator for the Daily Star...or.. News of the World  )
Skull?....*sigh!*...I can't even guess what the outcome or content of THIS meeting's going to be 
Looking forward to the next part of the chapter

Yay, nice start to the new year
Right, Happy New Year, first of all.
Cool read, I like it very much. Very good diplomatic dialogues, good change from the straight forward kick-butt mentality 
found two little things:
Let?s here it Max! -> should be 'hear'
Then that?s settled. -> you have two of those very close to each other.
Can hardly wait for more. Since I'll be back home in about weeks time I should find more time for reading anyway.

Yet another very readable and tense addition to the story, seems to have walked into a well laid trap tho, will be very interesting to see how Max gets out of this, whats he going to offer, all I can imagine that might be worth his life is a possible deal concerning money laundering, but I guess i'll see when you post the continuation of this part of the story.

He could sell some of the Jump Drive stuff. After all, it is his mission to find out about all that. What better way to buy his life?
Other than that, there really isn't much I can imagine the Skulls wanting being as powerful as they are and with the resources that they have. What else could he offer them?
