James woke up at 7:30 took a shower, shaved and put on his flight suit, walked in to the kitchen sat his data pad on the table, started the coffee, and got out a bagel and put it in the toaster, got out the cream cheese spread, and waited for the toaster to inform him that the bagel was done, put some cream cheese on it set the bagel on the table and pored a cup of coffee and sat down, turned on the data pad and brought up the banking reports.
The accounts were in good shape, he then contacted Jake, Have you been able to scan the ships we captured yester day,
Jake: yes and had some repairs made so they can be sold, had the override software removed, and reset the AI software to argon standards, all goods and unauthorized equipment has been removed, I should have them sold within the next two Tazuras, do you have any special orders?
James yes Hold on to three of the best equipped Falcons and have them upgraded and maxed out then moved to the station for storage. Sell all of the goods that we don’t need, buy any upgrades that you need for the Falcons.

James looked at the time 8:25 then closed and turned off his data pad, put his cup and dish in the cleaner went and got his Jacket, called Jeff
Jeff: morning
James: are you and Justin ready for breakfast?
Jeff: I am but Justin is moving slow needs about 5 Mizuras,
James: ok I’m meeting Thresica in 10 Mizuras, then we are heading down to the cafeteria.
Jeff: we’ll be ready.
James left his suit at 8:40 and walked to Thresica suit pushed the buzzer, Thresica opened the door,
Thresica: good morning,
James: you ready?
Thresica: let me get my jacket,
James waited in the hall noted when Jeff and Justin entered the hall and walked toward him.
Thresica: we have company for breakfast?
James: Jeff and Justin are coming with us.
Thresica: ok let’s go. And led the group to the lift and scanned her card, and the doors opened. And she entered. Justin followed and Jeff and me got in and the doors closed, and the lift started moving, Thresica had selected the cafeteria before we entered, the lift stopped and announced level 1 cafeteria is to the left, the doors opened. I got out first with Jeff then Thresica and Justin,
Thresica: grabbed Justin’s arm and said this way, and led him to the cafeteria and found a table in the back. And sat down, Justin took a chair at the end of the table I sat next to Thresica and Jeff took the seat across from her. Ban and Josh entered and joined us, Then Chris and Rodger Hemingway his XO and Randy Humphrey his Senior Engineering Officer that I had met last knight enter the cafeteria and sat down at the table next to us
Donna: good morning what can I get for you? As she sets a carafe of coffee and a tray of cups down,
Ban: I would like a omelet w/hash browns and sausage please, and some orange juice.
Josh: I would like a western omelet hash browns with cheese and tomato juice.
Jeff: Stake & eggs special med well w/home fries.
Justin: that sounds good I’ll take the same and a glass of milk
James: eggs and a waffle, orange juice
Thresica: I think I’ll have two Waffles and orange juice.
Donna can I pore you some coffee?
Thresica yes please and all around the group nods.
Donna pours the coffee, I bring some more coffee and get your orders in
Jenny was waiting on the other table, and the cafeteria was filling up with Hawks people,
Dorothy & Scott entered the cafeteria and stopped at James table may we join you?
James; sure grab a seat, after breakfast we were planning on touring the station, will you guide us.
Dorothy: That is the plan, I have got every thing ready.
James: good
Donna returned with more coffee and cups, took Dorothy’s and Scott’s orders and left.
The group was mingling and talking, when Donna and Jenny brought the food carts loaded with there orders and pictures of orange Juice and tomato juices and extra glasses passed out the orders and pored the juices, asked if there was any thing else then left,
After breakfast Dorothy led the group through the station starting with the operations center, while Chris Gathered his crew and Pilots ready to load into the transports,
After the tour James: Ban would you like to fly with me, Jeff take Justin with you get a hold of mike and Sam ask then to come with us that will give us 4 escort for the 2 sparrows.
Ban: I’d like that I haven’t flown in that ship.
Jeff: ok, I’ll call them now.
James: Thresica Ill see you later, Dorothy thank you for the tour, James led Ban to the docking bay and they boarded his ship, Ban took the co pilot seat and strapped in, James strapped in, Jake prepare to undock and form up with the Sparrows.
Jake: hatch secured, undocking, exiting station, forming up on Hawk 2 Sparrow 2 & 5 Hawk 3&4 exiting station, Preparing to Jump, gate notified. Jumping in 5,4,3,2, jumping, entering sector Kingdoms End, heading toward Ship yard, docking granted Pad C-6, entering station, landing, docking, opening hatch.
Ban: that was smooth, I like the ship, and I see that you upgraded the AI as well.
James: yes with josh’s help. Let’s go I see that Salas is waiting for us.
They exit the ship and walk over to Salas,
James: good morning Salas this is Commander Ban Danna form AP.
Salas: good to meet you, I have heard so much about you that I fell like I know you well.
Ban: I have heard of you too and it good to finally get a chance to meet you.
Salas: Josh how have you been, you haven’t called lately.
Josh: just been busy, how have you been doing?
Salas: very well, If you will come with me Ill take you to your ship.
Josh, Ban, James, Jeff, Justin, and Mike clime in to the transport with Salas, Salas drives them to the docking bay where Phoenix 2 was parked, the two Sparrows that brought Chris and his crew were parked next to it and they were unloading, and entering the ship.
James: I see that you were able to get it painted and the company logo painted on.
Salas: yes and the fighters and transport are all ready loaded, I will drive into the docking bay all ship transfers have been made, all these ships were covered und your last credit transfer.
James: thank you.
Salas drove into the landing bay, it was huge. James saw the 4 sparrows and counted 26 Hawk Fighters,
James: Salas there are 26 Fighters that’s 6 more then I ordered but I’ll gladly take them.
Salas: yes and there are 5 more that have not been loaded, I was waiting to talk to you, you will come to my office and Ill show you, ok
James: ok
Josh: I really like what I’ve seen so far lets go to the bridge.
The group followed Sales to the bridge were Chris was watching as the crew started there stations.
Chris: the ship is manned and we will be ready to depart on your word.
James: good, Salas has 5 more ships that need to be loaded, if you will have 5 pilots met us in the docking bay we take them to the ships, then I need to stop by his office, Ben Chris will Show you the ship while I finish my business with Salas, Josh I’ll be right back.
James and Salas went back to the docking bay were 5 pilots were standing by in the transportation cart, Salas climbed in and I got on the passenger side. Salas asked if every one was ready. With some yeses and nods he left the docking bay out to the station, to the docking area were the ships were parked, let off the pilots and then headed to his office area. I followed him into the office, Salas: we have been using the replication machine that I got from Josh. We have been able to reduce the building cost tremendously. The savings more then paid for the extra ships.
James: that wonderful just keep any extra funds I gave you fore a bonus, and let me know if I owe you any more. I think I have enough ships for now Ill let you know if that changes. Salas it’s been a pleasure working with you, if you need anything please let me know,
Salas: I will, and I like to ask you if I can build 2 Hawks for My use?
James: sure but try not to lose them ok.
Salas: I won’t and if by chance 1 gets damaged Ill let you know.
James: thank you. Now if you would be kind enough to take me to my ship I will dock it on the Phoenix 2.
Salas: sure. And they get back into the transport and Salas dropped James off at his ship.
James entered the ship, Jake dock on the Phoenix 2.
Jake: roger, hatch secured, undocking, entering ship landing, hatch open,
James heads to the bridge.
Chris: all ships docked, ready to depart station.
James: let’s go.
Chris, undock and depart station.
Navigator: undocking, clearance received, departing station, cleared departure lane, ready to jump.
Chris: Jump to PC,
Navigator: gate notified, jump drive charging at 20% 30,40,50,60,70,80,90, Jumping
Entering system power circle, station notified, proceeding to dock. Reducing speed, entering docking path, docked.
Chris: well done, James I like to schedule some ship shake downs for this week.
James: fine and have the stations moved from the TL’s to the Phoenix 2, ok
Chris: wilco.
James; well Ban what do you think of the ship?
Ban: James it’s a very nice ship good speed large bays, good complement of fighters and transports, sure you don’t want to come back to the Navy?
James: I don’t think so the pay is better here.
Ban and James Laugh and head to the docking portal to exit the ship.
Once back on station Ban: well I guess Id better get back to AP.
James: your welcome any time.
Ban: thank you, turns and heads to his ship.
Josh exited the Phoenix 2 walks up to James,
Josh: James that is a nice ship, what are you going to do now?
James: expand on my shipping and escort services, clean up ore belt, head out to other argon sectors and recruit young men and train them to hunt pirates.
Josh: sounds like a plan, if I can help let me know.
James: I will and thank you for coming, have a safe flight back.
Josh: I will, Bye and heads to his ship.
James: looks at his watch 12:10 pulls out his communicator and calls Thresica,
Thresica: hi James were are you.
James in the docking bay, wondering if you have had lunch yet?
Thresica: No, you offering to take me to lunch?
James: I would be a pleasure.
Thresica: meet you in the lounge in 10 Mizuras.
James: ok and disconnects, heads to the lounge. Enter the private dining room and takes the table in front of the observation window.
Ken: what can I get you Mr. Hawk?
James: some coffee for now.
Ken; I bring that right away.
Thresica walked in to the dining room looked around, then walked up to James, table and sat down next to him.
Thresica: more of Phoenix 2 crew showed up this morning, I got them settled in and sent them to Melissa’s shop for jackets and flight suits, I finished the paper work on Justin but you did not tell me how much to pay him.
James: I have no ideal let see if he will take 2,000 a Mazura till his probation is over. I glad that Chris’ crew is here he wants to run some shake downs on the ship, and now I can sell the other TL’s once he has the stations unloaded. Are you going to go with us tomorrow for the station opening in HOL?
Thresica: ok, yes I need to get away for a little while and I like to fly my ship.
James: good, have you been able to run some sims?
Thresica: yes.
Ken returned with the coffee, would you like some coffee Ms Smith?
Thresica: yes thank you and could I have a cold glass of water.
Ken: I get that for you, would you like to order lunch, the Argnu stake is fabulous today
Thresica: that sound good, medium with a side salad ranch dressing.
Ken: would you like stake fries or a baked potato with that?
Thresica: baked potato with sour cream and extra butter.
Ken: and you Mr. Hawk?
James: the stake with fries and salad ranch dressing medium well.
Ken: I’ll be right back.
As James and Thresica sat James told her about the extra ships and how he planed to clean up OB, Ken pushed the dinner cart up to the table and placed their lunch in front of them, replaced the carafe of coffee and left.
Thresica: this is really good as she cut and tasted the stake.
James cut his stake and took a bite, then managed to say yes it is. They ate till they were finished.
James: do you want some ice cream?
Thresica: no I’m full lets just have some coffee, then I need to get back to work.
James: if we must. And pored her and himself some coffee.
After they finished their coffee Thresica went back to her office, James went to his ship,
James: Jake move to the station,
Jake: roger,
James left the ship and went to find Mike, found him in the station repair bay,
Mike: hi James, wats up
James: nothing just came to ask you what was found on that last bunch of ships.
Mike: just some energy cells and small weapons, But I did manage to get into one of the chests we had, It contained 987,500 gold credits and three data pads I’m working on them, four blasters three sets of ID and a journal that I don’t think was his because it talks about exploring different systems and some of the minerals that was found. I’ll have it analyzed by one of our engineers
James: ok, send the gold to the vault, are you going to the station opening tomorrow?
Mike: yes I had planned on it.
James: good, see if you can get Sam and some of the others to go.
Mike: will do.
James turned and walked back to the lift, scanned his card and went to the operations center, met Scott in the hall, Scott can you tell me about our housing and how many empty apartments we have empty?
Scott: yes sir follow me into the ops center, Scott opens the door with his security card and James follows him in.
Scott: see we have 906 crew quarters 313 are in use, 593 open, the Pent house’s we have 44, 20 Reserved for Us, 5 Leased, 39 open, we have 98 Suites, 8 reserved for Us, 20 Leased, 70 open, Lg Apts 4 Br we have118, 60 Leased 58 open, 166 Medium Apts 2-3 Br 75 Leased 91 open, 230 2 br Apartments 110 leased or rented 120 open, and 310 Rooms for rent, we average 60 to 140 rented daily. Shops Spaces 166, 100 leased or Used by HS 66 spaces open, Is that what you wanted?
James: yes, That was what I wanted and you explained it exultantly, thank you.
Scott: your very welcome, is there any thing else I can do for you?
James: not right now, thank you, James turns and leaves the Op center back to the lift, then down to Security section, uses his card to open the door and walks in, he is greeted by Duane
Duane: good evening Mr. Hawk what brings you down here?
James: just wondering around the station, is every thing quite?
Duane : yes, have a look,
James walks over to the monitoring stations and look at the monitors, the monitors were set up to show split screens of the station, 4 were showing the main corridor, 4 were showing the 2nd corridor 4 were showing the 3rd corridor 4 were showing the landing bays, 4 were set up to show movement on the living area floors 2 were showing the Penthouse area 4 more were set to detect movement in the restricted areas, 4 security persons were sitting in front of the banks of monitors watching for trouble off to the right of the monitoring station was the comms and sensor station with two personnel. As James looked around the security stations he noted several were communicating with the patrols that were patrolling the corridors, and the drone controllers that were navigating the drones thru the restricted areas.
James: Duane all looks quite, I’ll leave you alone, I’m going to my apt
Duane: not a problem, stop by any time,
James: have a good evening, turns and leaves the security room. Walks to the lift and scans his card, the doors open and James enters and presses the penthouse button, the doors close and the lift starts,
James left the lift on the pent house floor and walked to his Apt,
Entered and went to his bed room to change for dinner,
James finished getting dressed and went in to the kitchen for a cup of coffee, look at the clock 6:15, James decided to forgo the coffee, turned and left the apartment, entered the lift and went down to the lounge floor and exited the lift walked to the private dining room and entered, there were a few persons there James went to his favorite table and sat down,
Janice: can I get you something to drink?
James: Just coffee for now, thank you.
Janice: ok, I’ll be right back with that.
James sat looking out the window at the ships going by when Janice returned with his coffee,
Janice: can I pour you a cup?
James: Please
Janice pored the coffee and handed it to James, sat the carafe of coffee on the table, Janice: will there be any thing else?
James: no thank you , I’m waiting for Thresica then we will order, OK
Janice: I’ll watch for her. Turns and leaves
At 6:30 Local Thresica enters the private dining room and spots James sitting by the window looking out or deep in thought, walks up to the table and states, I’m starved
James: looks at her, That is a nice looking outfit, is it New?
Thresica: yes, Do you like it?
James: Yes, can I pour you some coffee?
Thresica: yes thank you, How did your day go?
James: I got bored so I went thru the station ops and security.
Thresica: you didn’t!
James: ya , and I felt like a jerk not announcing that I would be going thru there sections, You may have to smooth it over with the Managers.
Thresica: did you find any discrepancies?
James: no, the personnel were performing perfectly, as far as I could tell.
Janice: con I take your orders?
Thresica: a large Chief Salad and Ice tea please with house dressing.
James: a large stake medium well salad with house dressing, and fresh coffee
Janice: I’ll put the order in and bring a fresh pot of coffee and your Tea.
Thresica: we maid more credits to day then we ever have for escort services, and deliveries.
James: that’s wonderful, the station is making a profit tomorrow we open the wheat farm and I have a good filling about it, and I have been thinking of where to go next, I think Ill stick to escorts for a while and let the ships pay for them self’s for a while.
Thresica: I think that’s a good ideal, and you need to take a break,
James: a break I fell like I’ve been on vacation, I need to get out and fly and kick some but.
Janice returned with the coffee and tea placed them on the table and took the empty carafe and left.
Thresica sat there looking at James, I think you should let the pilots go out, ( knowing the if she said that James should stay clear of the fights would be a mistake )
Chris approached the table and sat down, James that ship is sweet, I cant whit to take her out.
James: we can take her to HOL for the station opening.
Chris that would be great, I’ve got the stations moved to the Phoenix 2 and she is loaded up with supplies, and food, the crew is anxious to go.
James: ok be ready to fly at 08:00 and we will be onboard for breakfast, How is the quarters coming.?
Chris: Most of them are finished, the remaining can be finished at any time, we ended up with an extra 50 rooms, I put a hold on completing them. I may need to change them to storage.
James: what you decide is fine with me.
Chris: I will let you know after we handle some station deployments.
James: would you like to join us for dinner?
Chris: no I need to get back to the ship and finish some paper work and check on the security staff. Before I forget we have 6 fighters with no Pilots what do you want me to do with them?
James: I thing they will be stationed at the wheat farm, but I will need to get the pilots trained first.
Thresica: we had 4 show up to day, I was going to ask you were you want them.
James: have them load their things on the carrier, we train them then move them to the wheat farm.
Chris: I’ll notify them tonight, Thresica do have there information and where can I find them?
Thresica: hold on and she pulls out her communicator and calls Scott those 4 pilots I sent down to you this morning have them move to the Phoenix 2 and report to Chris, Thanks and hangs up. Chris they will report to you tonight.
Chris: thank you, see you in the morning, Chris got up and left the dining room.
Janice delivers their dinner and ask if she could get them anything else?
James: not right now thank you.
Janice leaves.
Thresica starts on her salad
James starts on his stake and fries.
The rest of the dinner went by quietly, as James thought about what Thresica has said, James decided to let it go, that he couldn’t help it if his people were concerned about his well fair, he would do what he all ways did, and that was to be adventuress.
Thresica: James, I didn’t mean to upset you.
James: I know but I’m not used to being worried over, I know that you are concerned for my well being, but I left home to be adventures and to be y one man, It will take time for me to get used to being the boss and stay in one place.
Thresica: if you would walk me to my apt I would appreciate it.
James: it be my pleasure.
They leave the dining room and head toward the lift, James scanned his card and the doors opened, they enter and James selects the penthouse, the doors close and the lift starts, when the doors open, James starts to exit Mike was standing in front of the lift doors,
Mike: James I’ve been looking for you will you come with me to the repair bay?
James: ok, hold the lift, I’ll be right back. Then he and Thresica depart the lift and head toward her apt,
James: Ill pick you up in the morning ok,
Thresica: ok, about 0700 ok
James: ok, then turns and heads back to the lift, Mike was holding the lift when James entered, wats up?
Mike let go of the hold button, and selected the docking bay, the lift started. Mike: I found some information that I think will get us a fortune.
James: what kind of information?
Mike: Id rather show you ok.
The lift stopped at the docking bay area Mike and James exited the lift, headed toward the repair area , Mike walked up to his work shop area and scanned his card, the door opened and they entered, on the work bench was a data pad, Mike walked over to it and turned it on, logged into it and brought up a map, Mike : James look at this map, it took a while but I have Identified the system.
James: looked at the map it had no system name, just some stations and other markings, located in a nebula was a S with a line over it.15.676 3.312 55.989

James: where is it, and what is S/ mean?
Mike I have identified it as Ore Belt, no ideal what the S, Ws, or the AT is the others are stations FATS is an Trading station,
James: I got them and the solar coordinates; guess will have to look at those coordinates when we get a chance,
Mike: I found an encrypted file, and he pulls it up.
James read the file, I’ll be dammed here is the coordinates that will take you in to the Pirate base that is not covered by the LT. and how to get in to a sub vault that located in the engine room, and the codes to disable the security systems. I just hope these are for the Pirate station in ore belt.
Mike: I think they are, I think this guy helped set up the pirate base, or ran it,
I found some other files that refer to setting up a base and what would be need for it.
James: we will check that theory out in a few days. Chris wants some missions and I need to get away from here for a while. Ill see you in the morning we leave at 08:00 breakfast is on Phoenix 2. James turns and leaves.
James thought about the information he just seen and started a plan to check it out, while he headed back to his apt. when he entered the apt he went to his room picked out his gray suit shirt and tie, and shoes placed them in a hang up bag, then got a clean flight suit out and underwear, placed them on his dressing stand, then went to bed.
