New Start 19 Station Party

James awoke and laid there thinking about the days events, he decided that he way not looking forward to hanging around the station while everyone would be getting ready for the party and visitors that would be coming to the station. He decided to get dressed and call Jeff to go with him to HOL.

30 Mizuras later he called Jeff, are you up yet?

Jeff: barely but I am dressed, why?

James: I wanted to ask you to go with me to HOL after breakfast,

Jeff: ok I wasn’t looking forward to hanging around here to day.

James: I know what you mean, see you in a few mizuras.

James grabbed his flight bag and jacket and left the apt. Met Jeff in the Hall and they headed to the lift, Jeff swiped his card and the doors opened, and they entered the lift,
James announced Cafeteria, and the doors closed and the lift started moving.

The life stopped, and announced cafeteria. And the doors opened,

James and Jeff exited the lift and headed toward the cafeteria, entered looked for an table, Jeff spotted Chris sitting in the back and motioned for James to follow him to Chris’ table, they both took seats near the back wall,

Chris: morning, I have been thinking about the new TL we have and I have maid some contacts with some experienced personnel to operate it how much can I offer them as pay?

James: Thresica has all of the information you will need , she has put together a very good employment package. Let her know what you think the specialists should start with.
Good job Chris that one ting I have been thinking about, Ill have the fighter pilots in a couple of Tazuras, if you can get a crew together then we can pick up the new ships.

Chris: Ill do that, and Ill let you know this evening how it going.

James that will be fine, Jeff and me are heading over to HOL to check on the station deployment, mainly to get away from here for most of the day.

Jeff Had ordered his breakfast and Jenny was waiting for James to order,

James: Jenny I think Ill have a stack of hot cakes and coffee,

Jenny: Ill be right back with the coffee,

Jenny brought a tray with cups and a carafe of coffee, then left

James pored a cup for Jeff and him self asked Chris if he wanted his cup filed up?

Chris: No I got to go to the ship and check on a few things, then Ill look up Thresica.

Chris left the cafeteria.

After Jeff and James finished there breakfast they headed to the dock and boarded there ships,

James: Jake prepare to depart and jump to HOL.

Jake: roger, hatch secured, departing station, gate notified, Linked with Hawk 2, Jumping, entering sector Home of Light, emergency signal from taxi 4 pirate ships identified, 2 blizzards 2 busters

James: Jeff lets help this taxi,

Jeff: roger heading to intercept tgt 1,

James: Jake intercept tgt 2 , notify taxi that we will assist,

James tried to strafe form the fire but did take 3 hits shields at 90%

Derrick: James do you require assistance, I have 2 ships headed toward you?

James: Check on the taxi, and block the east gate,

Jake: tgt 4 shields at 20% engaging tgt 3 with turret and launching missile,
TGT 4 shields at 10 % pilot ejected, tgt 3 shields at 60% evading, headed toward east gate, Hawk 8 engaging tgt 3 shields at 9% pilot ejecting,

James: Leann cap these ships, I going to assist Jeff,

James: Jake open coms with the Pirate,

Jake: com open,

James: attention pirate this is Hawk security, surrender or be destroyed you are boxed in, any further attempt to engage will result with you being blown to space dust, reply

Pirate: ok, I give up I’m stopping, I surrender,

James: Eject now.

Pirate: ok, I’m ejecting, don’t shoot.

Sector Police: we take him from here, contact the station and fill out an engagement report.

James: ok

Jeff: I got the ship heading toward the TL

Leann: the other ships are docking with TL

James: thank you, Jeff lets check on that taxi pilot,

Jeff: ok

Derrick: I’m holding the taxi at x3.125 z15.500.

James: ok be there in a mizura. Have him land at the trading station, and download a copy of his engagement report,

Derrick: roger, I’ll follow him to the trading station.

James and Jeff landed at the trading station, and met Derrick on the dock,

Derrick: I have the Pilot and passenger, waiting for you.

James: good Ill talk to passenger Jeff talk to the pilot, find out why they were attacked, then we compare stories and decide what to do.

Jeff: ok and enters the taxi and sends the passenger out to talk to James.

James: Hello Angie will you tell me who you are and how did you get here in HOL?

Angie: I’m Angie Walker from AP. I was flying to the trading station in Ore Belt when I was attacked by 2 busters , My Discoverer was damage but I did manage to land at the trade station, but I did not have enough credits to repair my ship so I was looking for a way to get home when I found a taxi willing to take me home and get the fare from my father Kenneth Walker who is the manager of the weapon components Factory in AP. And we were attacked by more pirates, and your ships showed up and took care of the pirates.

Jeff returned an told James that the taxi pilot said he picked up Angie at the Ore Belt Trading Station and offered to take her to AP SWCF alpha, she said her father ran the station and he would pay the fare 2200 cr. The pilot Name is Ed Sanders, his license is up to date, and he has no complaints against him.

James: I think it was the Girl the pirates were after, lets check with sector police, Derrick
Take Angie to the Eagle, and have the Taxi repaired and pay him the fare he is owed, and thank him, tell him we will see that Angie gets home, and that we are investigating the attack.

Derrick: roger

James and Jeff head to the police station.

James: enter the police station and asks the desk sergeant if the Capt was in?

Sergeant: Yes can I say who wants him?

James: I’m James Hawk of Hawk security.

Sergeant:: just a mizura.

Sergeant: Capt Jones will see you, and he buzzes the door and James walks in with Jeff behind him. The sergeant leads them to the Capt’s Office.

Capt Jones: walks from behind his desk and greets James” I’m glade to meet you Mr. Hawk, and shakes hands,

James: I have an engagement report for you and I would like to ask the pirates we captured some questions if I can?. James hands the data card over.

Capt Jones; that very irregular. Care to explain? As he takes the data card and plug it into the reader.


James: ok, we jumped into HOL and responded to a request foe assistance from a taxi that had a passenger, as it turns out the passenger Angie Friedman is a daughter of a weapons component factory in AP, and had been attacked in OB and her ship had been damaged, so she got a taxi to take her home, and they were attacked again, I believe that it may have been a failed Kidnapping and wanted to conform my theory.

Capt Jones: that is interesting, I have had some reports of kidnapping in the ore belt,
I have had the pilots that were brought in of the four two had a bounty of 500,000 on their head and one had 50,000cr the for the other pilot, the you got to surrender has no criminal record, I haven’t had a chance to talk to them yet.

James: the pilot we captured, what is his name? you say he has no record, lets talk to him first, I might have a deal for him, since the report doesn’t show him engaging the taxi. Lets see what his story is.

Capt Jones: His name is Justin Hooks, 21 of Aladna Hill ok but you watch from the viewing room.

James: that will be fine.

Capt Jones leads them to the viewing booth, while he has Justin brought up.

We watch as the guard puts Justin in the room and tell him to sit down and wait for the Captain. Justin sits down and looks around the room he looks scared, and his eyes are red from crying,

Capt Jones: kids you’ll never figure them out, Let me see if I can get him to open up. And leaves the viewing room.

A few mizuras
Later Capt Jones walks in to the room carrying a file and a can of soda, sets the soda down and takes a set across from Justin, Son what were you doing attacking that taxi?

Justin: I didn’t attack the taxi I was flying with Ron and Jim when they met up with Pete who ask them to help him catch that ship, I didn’t know why they were after that ship and I didn’t fire at it I just wanted to learn how to fly and Ron told me that if I join up with them he would let me fly one of his ships.

Capt Jones: the ship that you were flying in had been reported as stolen, and Ron Waterson is a known Pirate with a bounty on his head, and now that you were with a group of pirates you will be branded as a pirate did you know that?

Justin: A pirate no I didn’t know they were pirates, and he starts to cry, my dad is going to kill me.

Capt Jones: you don’t have to worry about that at be several years before you get out of Jail before he can get you.

Justin: but I didn’t fire on that ship.

Capt Jones: but you did fire on that security ship that tried to stop the attack on the taxi.

Justin: only to get away.

Capt Jones: its still a crime to be with Pirates and engage an argon ship.

Justin: still crying, I’m sorry I didn’t know.

Capt Jones: did you know that the passenger on the taxi had been attacked in Ore Belt?

Justin: I don’t know nothing about that, I was taken to Ore belt by Ron in his ship he picked me up in Aladna Hill and told me he was going to teach me how to fly.

Capt Jones: Were you with them during any other attacks?

Justin: no this was the first and they told me to get in front of the ship and block its path.

Capt Jones: well Ill talk to the rest of your friends and see what their story is. Mr Hawk from Hawk security wants to talk to you, about firing on his ship, ok

Justin: I’m sorry. I guess I can apologize to him.
Capt Jones stands up picks up the folder and throws the empty soda in to the waste bin, then presses the signals for the door to be opened, and leaves.

Capt Jones enters the viewing room, James do you want to talk to Justin,

James: yes I want you to release him to me on probation for 6 Mazuras, then he will be free to go, and this incident will not show up on his records ok, I’m going to sent out recruiter to get these kids trained in good jobs flying and to put a stop to the pirate recruiting.

Capt Jones: ok lets put the deal to Justin. and leads James to the integration room.

James and Capt Jones enter the IR, and Capt Jones tells Justin that Mr. Hawk has a deal for him and that he does not have to take it but that he thinks that it is in his best interest to consider it,

James: Justin I under stand that you were being recruited by Ron to be a pirate. explains that he can come to work and train with Hawks security for 6 Mazuras while on probation, and that he will be free to go after that with no record of this offense in his record, or he can go to a rehabilitation planet and serve his sentence.

Justin: I am sorry for firing at your ship, and I would like to take you offer so I can be a good pilot and thank you for helping me.

James: ok you will be flying with My wing man Jeff, listen to him and learn he is an ace pilot and trainer, when he tells me that you are ready to fly on your own we will provide you with a ship.

Justin: thank you.

Capt Jones presses the signal to open the door and they leave the IR and meet Jeff in the Hall

James: Jeff this is Justin he will be your trainee.

Jeff: Justin follow me, Ill show you my ship,

James: thank you Capt Jones please let me know if you find out about who is running this kidnapping ring,

Capt Jones: will do and thank you for helping, with your TL in sector crime has fallen by 50% I just hope it stay that way when the station is finished.

James: The station will have active patrols in sector, fill free to call upon them.

Capt Jones: I will, and good luck with Justin. I will contact your office with the bounty requests.

James: thank you. Turns and heads to the docking area, enters his ship, Jake lets go to Eagle one.

Jake: roger, Hatch secured requesting departure clearance. Departing station,

James: Jeff are you about ready to go?

Jeff: give me a few mizuras.

James: standing by. 5 mizuras later Hawk 2 departs the station and takes up wingman position Jake lets go dock on Eagle one.

Jake: roger, course laid in. engines engaged,

As James approaches Eagle one he see the 2 Hawks flying Cap for the TL.

Jake: Entering ship. Hatch open,

James exits the ship and is greeted by Harold

Harold: good to see you James,

James: I just came here to escape the stations activities today, Hope I’m not putting you out, Did you hear of the incident when we arrived this morning.

Harold: yes and the ships are in the repair bay, the taxi will be finished in 2 stazuras,
I sent the pilot to the mess hall for lunch, Angie is also having lunch with Frances who is looking after her, care to tell me the story?

James: Sure Lets go to the mess hall I need some coffee. Jeff and his new trainee Justin Hooks, he was flying one of the ships we captured this morning, but he was a new recruit and I’m trying to change his career path.

Harold: you are a beaver man them me, if all you want is coffee lets go to the observation lounge.

James: ok lead on.

Upon entering the observation lounge James looked out toward the wheat farm, It looks finished?

Harold: almost we still have to pressurize it and check for leaks then we can start moving the residents in, the power plant is working at 150% with no problems and takes 60% less power cells to operate the wheat farm, I think Susan is moving in her people in the morning. Our job will be finished this evening, do you want the ship to jump back to PC or stay here?

James I think Ill have you stay here till the Phoenix is able to jump in then you can jump back to PC, she should be here tomorrow.

Harold ok

James: this morning we jumped into HOL and got a request for assistance from a taxi that had a passenger, as it turns out the passenger Angie Friedman is a daughter of a weapons component factory in AP, and had been attacked in OB and her ship had been damaged, so she got a taxi to take her home, and they were attacked again, I believe that it may have been a failed Kidnapping. I got Capt Jones from Sector Police checking on it.
Angie is a daughter of an VIP in AP, and some one wanted to nab her. Ill escort her home after we get her ship from OB. That gives me an Ideal, can you get Chris on the horn for me?

Harold: sure and he turns and picks up an intercom receiver and calls the bridge,
Then hands me the phone, says that Chris will be online shortly ,

James takes the phone and waits for Chris to answer,.

Chris: Hello,

James: Chris this is James I need you to jump to OB and assist me in recovering a Ship and be watchful for Pirates as I move the ship from the trading center to the carrier.

Chris: I will take me 10 Mizuras to get their.

James: take 30 Mizuras see you in OB.

Chris: Wilco.

James: I guess I had better find Angie and Jeff and head out,

Harold: do you want some of my fighters to go with you?

James: no they wont attack us there after Angie’s ship and we won’t depart the station till the Phoenix arrives. Then he and Harold headed to the docking area were Jeff, Justin and Angie were waiting.

James told Jeff to get ready to depart and asked Angie to ride with him in Hawk 1,
As they enter James has her sit in the Co-Pilots seat and tells Jake to get ready to depart for OB.

Jake: Hatch secured undocking, departing ship,

James: tells Angie that were headed to the trading station to get her ship then to AP to drop her off at the WCS were her dad is,

Angie: but my ship is damaged and only has 50% power and that one of her 5MJ shields generator is out.

James: no problem we are going to have a carrier standing by to carry your ship,

Angie: what about the pirates?

James: I hope they get stupid and try to attack it, the carrier has a complement of fighters onboard.

Jake: Jumping, entering sector Ore Belt, 3 Pirate busters identified,

James head to the trading station, let me know if the pirates try to intercept us.

Jake: wilco.

James: Jeff Keep an eye on the pirates.

Jeff: I’m watching them they have not changed coarse, they seem to be headed toward the station in the north quadrant or the north gate.

Jeff: Justin says there is a pirate base located out there beyond the Gate.

James: roger were preparing to land.

Jeff: I’ll follow you in.

Jake: entering station, docking, Hatch open.

James leads Angie out to the dock to check on her ship.

Jeff lands and he and Justin join James and Angie.

James talks to the dock master who tells him that the ship is in bay g6 and asks who is going to pay the docking fees James hands him his debit card and tell him to take them from it.

The docking manager takes the card and scans it, asks James to press the thumb scanner
.

James looks at the charges, 2100 credits, and says that kind of high for 1day docking fees isn’t it.

Dock Manager: Says that the charges were for the storage fees for three days that it was scheduled for.

James: but it was only here for 1 day!

Dock Manager: but I have a contract for three days no refunds.

James presses the thumb scanner and retrieves his card, and asks the dock manager to take him to the ship so the damages can be assessed.

The dock manager says that the ship can be repaired for the cost of parts and a 10% discount on the labor.

James: says he wants to check out the damages then he decide on the repairs.

The dock manager calls one of his hands over and tells him to take us to dock G6

We follow the dock hand to G6, and Angie open her ship and lets me in,

James started the internal diagnostics and got the report that the engine has a 50% power loss, has 30% rudder damage and only 1 5KW shield operational and that the hull had 20% damage, James left the ship and explained what he found,

James: Jeff I am going to fly the ship to the carrier, I want you to wait 3 Mizuras then follow me out watch for any ships that try to intercept me, Angie I want you to fly my ship just strap in and tell Jake to dock on the Phoenix and let him fly. Jake is an advanced AI,

Jeff: roger

Angie: if you say so.

Jeff: I’ll get ready and call you when the Phoenix is in position.

James: ok lets do it.

15 Mizuras later Jeff : James the Phoenix is in position and scanning for ships, says that there is nothing near the station and has Chucks Team on ready stand by.

James: roger Departing station, James lifts off and engages his thrusters to exit the station the ship crawls along at 15KS and finally gets up to 20KS as James departs the flight lane and turns to head for the carrier the ship is difficult to steer, and the engine sound like it ready to fail at any moment, James watches the screens but they seem to be limited on what is shown he spots the carries at 15 KM from his position and head toward it, then he sees Jeff exit the station with Angie right behind him, Jeff hold at 5KM off James port side and Angie speed past toward the carrier,

Jeff: we got 3 ships headed toward you at 30 KM to the north, identified them as Falcons

James I don’t see them this scanner is the pits,

Chris: I’m Launching the ready stand by to intercept the inbounds.

James sees the flight of 6 Ships leave the carrier and turn north, and are soon out of his scanner range. With 6 KM to go.

Jeff: we got two more ships coming in from the east gate closing fast I’m moving to intercept, Identified as 2 Falcons 1 Buster

Chris: I’m sending out to ships to support Jeff,

Chuck: engaged three pirates two Falcons captured, and one badly damaged Buster. 3 pilots in custody heading toward east gate, with Hawk 23 & 24 Providing escorts for you James they should be on your six in 20 Sezuras,

James: roger I’m still 4km from the carrier.

Jeff: engaging 2 pirate Falcons Chuck take tgt 2

Chuck: roger

Jeff: tgt 1 captured 1 Falcon and the pilot is in the black, sending the ship to the carrier.

Chuck: Jean is engaging tgt 2, Bob is picking up the pilot Sector police not responding to Hails,

Chuck: Jean has captured the falcon, the pilot is being picked up.

James: that’s fine I want you to have a talk to those pilots, we’ll take them to PC with us.
I am approaching the docking bay, 40 Sezuras and Ill be inside.

Chuck: wilco

Chris: I have the approach lane open for you, and then we bring in the captured ships and the fighters.

James: roger.

James “what a piece of junk this ship is nobody should travel this way”.

James enters the docking bay and sets the ship down on a vacant pad and exits the ship.

Angie was waiting for James when he clamed out of the ship, James that is a very good ship you have I have never flown in any thing like that.

James: Angie I love my ship and it has saved me more times then I like t think about. But your ship is ready to fall apart where did you get it?

Angie: I bought it from a Pilot in argon prime His name was Ronald Watterson of Aladna Hill.

James: that figures he was one of the pirates that attacked you earlier, I think I’ll fix up one of these Falcons for you so you will be safer when traveling.

Angie: I cant afford that and I don’t think my father will pay for it ether.

James: we’ll cross that bridge when we get there ok.

Angie: ok

Tracy was standing by and watching the ships arrive,

James walked over to Tracy, Tracy can you take Angie to the bridge when you get done here and have Chris Head to AP WCF alpha.

Tracy: OK

James watched Jeff dock and depart his ship with Justin and did a walk around the ship looking for any damages, then Jeff walked over to James,

Jeff: I think we gave them some thing to think about for awhile.

James: yes they be more careful when they attack someone else, I need you to check out the falcons we captured and select the best for Angie, and get repaired and max it out with the best we have, Have her old ship repaired for sale.

Jeff: ok I’ll take Justin with me and show him how to inspect the ships.

James then headed to the bridge and asked Chris how much longer till we jump.

Chris: about 5 mizuras

James: fine and walked over to Angie and asked her if she had ever been on a carrier before.

Angie: No this is my first,

James: good now you get to experience a M1 jumping.

Angie: will it be different from when we jumped in your ship? That was a first for me too, my ship did not have a jump drive.

James: yes its different, you’ll see.

Chris: that’s the last of our fighters, Jump to AP.

Navigator: gate notified Jump drive charging at 20% 30, 40 50 60 70 80 90 % Jumping, Entering sector Argon Prime, course laid in to WCP alpha thrusters engaged time to station 20 mizuras.

James: Angie lets go to my ship and pay your father a visit, ok

Angie: ok

James and Angie left the bridge and headed to the dock, and boarder his ship.

James: Jake lets got to the weapons Components factory alpha,

Jake: hatch secured, departing ship, course laid in engaging thrusters

Angie: I don’t mean to pry but how much does a ship like this cost?

James: You cant buy one, I designed them and own the rights for their manufacture, in order to keep them from being sold to anyone.

Angie: It sure is a good ship, and from what I see its fast, aren’t we traveling at 1200Ms now, and Jake had it going at 1800Ms from the station to the carrier, and those scanners you have are not civilian quality I not sure but I think it was picking up ships at the range of 30KM or better, and Jake would not tell me any thing other then not to touch the controls, He’s not civilian standards either is this ship Military quality?

James: Yes and that is all I can tell you.

Jake: approaching station docking granted, entering station, docking, Hatch open.

James: ready to go see your father?

Angie: I think so.

James led the way out. and on the dock Angie’s father was waiting, and move to hug his daughter.

Then Mr. Walker turned to James. Mr. Hawk thank you for returning my daughter. I don’t know how Ill ever be able to repay you for what you’ve done, but pleas lets go to my office and we can talk.

James: lead the way.

Angie: Dad I’m going to my room and clean up ok.

Ken: ok honey call me when you are ready for dinner.

Angie: ok and the heads toward the lift.

Ken: this way Mr. Hawk.

James: Call me James I’m not use to the Mr. Yet

Ken: only if you will call me Ken.

James followed Ken to his office, and took the offered seat,

Ken: would you like a drink?

James: Coffee if you have it.

Ken had his secretary bring two cups of coffee,

James excepted the coffee and tasted it then sat it on the table,

Ken: would you tell me what happened to my daughter?

James: I was on my way from PC to HOL to check on my station deployment, Jeff my wingman and myself jumped into HOL and heard a emergency request for assistance from a taxi that was being attacked by 4 pirate ships we intercepted the Pirates and were driving them away from the taxi then we were joined by a group of fighter from my TL we captured three of there ships and destroyed 1 the Pilots were picked up by sector police and taken to there station in the trading station, I had one of my ships escort the taxi to the station I landed at the TS and asked Jeff to talk to the pilot and get a copy of his engagement file, while I talked to the passenger Angie, she told me about flying to OB and being attacked by pirates and how she managed to land at the OB TS, she stated she did not have the funds to repair her ship, so she found a taxi driver willing to bring her here were she was going to have you pay the fare. I talked to the Police Capt Jones gave him my engagement report along with a copy of the taxi logs, Capt Jones told me that there were bounties on the Pirates and that he would credit them to my account after the files were reviewed and filed with AP. I had the taxi fly to my TL were it was repaired and the fare paid to the driver then sent him on his way. Angie fly with me to my TL and I told her that I would see that she would get home. I had my carrier fly to OB and station it self just off of the TS I had Angie fly with me to OBTS, were I checked out her ship, it was barely flyable, I had my wing man follow me in Angie,s ship to the carrier, after I left the station several pirates tried to intercept the ship But my wing man and a flight group of fighters from the carrier took care of them. I landed on the carrier and asked Angie were she got the ship, she told me that she bought it from a pilot here in AP when she told me his name I recognized it as one of the pirates that had been captured that morning. My theory is that the pirate sold her the ship found out who she was and were she was going and tried to kidnap her for ransom.

Ken: I want to thank you James, and pay you for rescuing my daughter,

James: the bounties I will receive for the pirates and the credits from the sale of there ships is plenty. Thank you and I am having one of the captured Falcons repaired and upgrade for Angie and will sell her ship or junk it.
Ken: I don’t know what to say, you are truly a good man and I owe you.

James: don’t worry getting rid of that kidnapping pirate is all the reward I need. I’ll have the Falcon delivered when its finished. James finished his coffee shuck hands with Ken and left his office and headed to the dock, boarded his ship Jake lets go to the Phoenix,

Jake: hatch secured, departing station, approaching the Phoenix , entering ship, landing, opening hatch.

James left the ship Chris was waiting, James : Chris can you bring me up to date on thr repairs and the interrogation of the pirated we captured.

Chris: I believe you are asking about the falcon it will be departing in 15 Mizuras and we have learned that there are several of these kidnapping rings working in OB, RL,RM,CBSE. And the main ones in AH and AB that decided to move to this area. We also got several names but no clear info of where to find the leaders.

James: ok, as soon as we get the falcon delivered and our pilots back jump back to PC and we’ll get ready for the party.

Chris: roger: Jeff is in the mess hall feeding Justin.

James: that’s were I’ll be.

James entered the mess hall and joined Jeff and Triton, How’s the training going,

Jeff: purity well,

Justin: I’ve learned that the ships used by the legal people are much better equipped. And your ships are some of the best, coarse I don’t know I haven’t seen many ships and only flew the one you caught me in.

James: just learn well and I make sure that you get a good ship, after your probation is over.

Justin: I want to thank you for saving me from my self, I was in a rush to fly, and willing to do any thing to get the chance. And I guess I wanted to get away from Aladna Hill and the unchanging life I had.

James: well I have bigger plans for you, I want you to help me recruit other young men so they don’t end up pirate bait.

Justin: I be happy to and I know of three others that are just as anxious to fly.

Chris enters the mess hall and walks up to James, we’ll be jumping in 50 Sezuras, then leads the way to the bridge,

James: Jeff bring Justin to the bridge and he can watch a M1 Jump.

James followed Chris onto the bridge with Jeff and Justin and stood behind the commander’s seat.

Chris: Jump to PC

Navigator: Gate notified, jump drive charging, at 30% 40 50 60 70 80 90% jumping entering sector Power Circle.
Chris: dock with the station.

Navigator: course laid in station notified docking granted, docking path lit.

James: Jeff you will have to stop by Marissa Shop and get Justin some clothes to ware to the party tonight and get him a few flight suits and a jacket.

Jeff: roger

Justin: Party what party?

Jeff: I’ll explain later,

Jeff took Justin into Marissa’s Clothes Shop

Marissa: Hi Jeff how can I help you?

Jeff: I need to get some clothes for Justin,

Marissa: ok let me get his sizes, and she pulled out at tape measure and started taking his waist, shoulders, arms inseam, and height and inputted them in to her data pad.

Jeff: we are having a station party this evening this is a new station. and this is the open house, and a lot of VIP will be here.

Justin: cool I’ve never been to a station opening,

Jeff: what clothes do you have on your ship?

Justin: I didn’t have time to pack, all I have is what I’m wearing.

Jeff: ok grab a cart and lets get busy,

Marissa: led then to a suit rack and asked which of these did he like.

Justin: looked at the suits and picked out a gray pin stripe one and a black one and was trying to decide which one he liked the best.

Jeff: toke both and the dark blue one two.

Marissa: I thing these will look good on you, and she handed them to her assistant told her to have them hemmed. Now lets pick out three shirts that would look good with the suits, then led them to the under garments section. And handed Justin a package of three under pants then a package of t-shirts and some socks, and was about to head to the shoes,

Jeff: take two more packages of shorts and shirts, and get some boot socks.

Justin picked out a package of briefs and a package of boxer shorts then grabbed two packages of t-shirts.

Marissa: led them to the shoe section and measured Justin right foot, then the left foot found that the left food was slightly larger then the right, and asked Justin if he was left handed?

Justin: Yes

Marissa: thought so. And picked out a pair of black dress shoes and handed them and a pair of dress socks to Justin try these on.

Justin took the shoes and socks and went to the bench and sat down and started taking off his tennis shoes and socks and put on the dress shoes and stood and started walking around, the room.
Jeff: brought a pair off flight boots and work socks. Try theses on two and handed them to Justin.

Then Jeff picked out three flight suits and a Jacket and asked Marissa to have the patches applied to them found some pajamas and slippers put them in the basket then walked back over to Justin. How do the shoes fit?

Justin: very good. He was putting his tennis shoes back on.

Jeff: pick out some sweats and shorts to work out in then well go to my place and get cleaned up.

Justin followed Marissa over to the sports clothes and picked out two sets of work out suits, and some shorts, then asked Jeff if he could get a new pair of tennis shoes,

Jeff: ok and you will need some jeans and shirts for casual ware.

Marissa scanned all of the things in the basket and the tags from the suits and dress shirts, told Jeff that the suits and shirts will be press and delivered to his suit within the next stazura.

Jeff looked hat the receipt. That will be fine and hands her his debit card,

Marissa swiped the card and handed the thumb scanner to Jeff.

Jeff pressed the scanner. Thank you then turns to Justin grab those bags and lets go.

Justin grabbed the bags and followed Jeff to the lift.

Jeff swapped his card and the doors opened and they entered the lift and Jeff announced Suite level. The lift doors closed and the lift started.

When the doors opened and Jeff led the way to his suit and opened the door showed Justin the room he could use then went to his bath room, picked out a tooth brush and cleaning past some deodorant and shaving gear and took it to Justin and told him that they had 2 stazuras before dinner.

Jeff answered the door buzzer, It was one of Marissa’s assistants with the Suits and shirts for Justin. Jeff took the clothes and thanked the assistants for their fast service and closed the door took the clothes to Justin’s room and hung them on the door then went in to his bathroom to get cleaned up.

James finished his shower and but on his Black Tux and dress shoes called down to security and had a security card made up for Justin and told Amanda to take it to Jeff’s suit and scan Justin and give him the card.

Amanda: ok I’ll head up as soon as I get my people out.

James: thank you. James walked out of his suite and went next door to Jeff’s suite rung the buzzer.

Jeff opened the door, Well look at you,

James: well your tux looks like you are going to a wedding or something.

Jeff: the or something. No weddings for me.

James: were is Justin? Amanda will be up in a few Mizuras to make him a security card, then we will have to decide were he will stay.

Jeff: leave him in my spare room for now.

James: are you sure?

Jeff: yes, I can teach him better if I don’t have to go looking for him.

James: ok

Justin: calls from the bed room Jeff I need some Help.

Jeff: Ok I’m coming

James Ill wait for Amanda.

Jeff returns, He needed me to fix his tie.

The door buzzer sounds,

Jeff opens the door and Amanda walks in

Amanda: Hi Jeff, James. Don’t you two look Good, were is Justin?

Jeff: he’ll be out in a few Sezuras. Are you on duty tonight?

Amanda: only for another Stazura, then Ill be at the party you will save me a dance wont you?

Jeff: sure will and Ill be counting the Mizuras.

Justin: wow, I cant wait to get to the party.

James We have a little business to take care of Amanda needs to get your hand print and bio information for your security card. Amanda Justin will be staying with Jeff so he will need access to the suite area.

Amanda: no problem, Justin place your right hand on the scanner, she holds the scanner up, ok now stand still while I get your picture, ok now put your left hand on the scanner, good now turn around I need to get a pitcher from the back for the security system. Good all done, as the machine produces the security card, Amanda hands the card to Justin Keep this with you at all times while on the station the station security will be able to see you and give you access. With out it you will only have access to the docking bay level 1 and level 2. OK

Justin takes the card inspects it and says ok.

Amanda: see you at the party and leaves.

James: lets head down to the lounge I want some coffee.

Jeff: ok you ready to go Justin?

Justin: yes I could use a cold drink kinda warm in here.

They left the suite and Justin tries his card on the lift and the doors open,

Justin enters and James then Jeff follows. Justin announces Lounge and the doors close the lift starts to move.

The lift stops and announces lounge level 2 and the doors open.

James exits the lift and heads to the private dinning room. Finds a table and sits down Jeff sits next to him and Justin takes the next seat.

Ruby: hello what can I get you?

James: Just coffee for now.

Jeff : coffee.

Justin: large Cola on ice please.

Ruby: Ill be right back with that.

James: I wonder how Thresica is holding up.

Jeff: Call her, I was going to wait till tomorrow to tell her about Justin, but it wont hurt to give her a heads up.

James Calls Thresica, Hi I was wondering how you were holding up to day.

Thresica: were are you ?

James: in the lounge with Jeff.

Thresica: stay there I’ll be there shortly.

James puts his communicator away, I don’t know what is going on but Thresica is on her way here.

Jeff: that sounds bad.

Ruby returns with a carafe of coffee and a large drink for Justin.

James: tastes his coffee, and sets the cup down.

Thresica enter with Ban, and Josh.

James gets up to greet them, Hello Ban, and shakes his hand, Josh how are you doing, and shakes his hand, glad you could make it would you like some coffee? Then introduces Justin. And explains that he is a trainee.

Thresica: is this the young man picked up in HOL that Chris told me about?

James: yes and I am going to have him help me recruit more young men before the pirates get them.

Ban: I think that is a wonderful idea, I did get the report from Capt Jones.

Josh: am I missing some thing here?

James: Justin was recruited by some pirates so they would teach him to fly, and ended up with the short end. And I bailed him out, he will be with us for 6 Mazuras at least and I hope he decides to stay.

Justin: I will.

Jeff: I am training him and I believe he will be a good pilot.

Thresica: well you will have to bring him by my office so I can fill out some paper work on him.

Jeff: I plan on doing that tomorrow.


James: how the party going,

Thresica: only a few of the people are here, I got a message from Captain Desmond, he says you could have waited till tomorrow to turn in the pirates you captured. And that he may be a little late getting here.

Ban: I have lined up some more pilots for you and some help for your new TL. They should be showing up soon.

Thresica some arrived to day and I have put them up and invited them to the party.

James good, I like your dress and I see that you changed your hair stile also, it looks very good on you.

Thresica: thank you and you look good, I don’t think I ever seen you dressed up, Jeff you look good too, Justin you will have to save me a dance.

Justin blushes, yes maim.

Thresica: we need to get to the ball room and mingle.

James: I guess your right lead on James set down his empty cup and followed Thresica, Ban, and Josh out of the dinning room down the hall to the ball room there were several of Hawks security personnel there and some others that James did not recognize, Dorothy and Scott were greeting people as they arrived.

Dorothy: James I want you to meet the governor of Power Circle,

James: ok as he introduces Ban Danna and Josh Galen

Dorothy: it my pleasure to meet you, this is my assistant Scott Hill

Scott shakes hands with Ban and Josh.

Ban: I would like a tour of your station tomorrow if that’s ok.

James: that can be arranged, would you like to do that in the morning?

Ban: that will be fine, and maybe we can get a look at the new TL.

James: I haven’t picked it up from KE, I’m waiting on Chris to get the crew together.

Ban: then we have to go to it, My calendar is clear for three Tazuras.

James: we see if we can help you pass the time.

Josh: I’m looking forward to seeing the station and ship also, and I have a few things to talk to you about.

James: I well make my self available for both of you.

Dorothy returns with the governor, James this is governor Hastings

James: good to meet you governor what do you think of our station? And shakes his hand

Hastings: good to finally meet you Mr. Hawk, I am pleased that you decided to stay in PC, its been wonderful for the system, I like the station it will bring more visitors to PC and help with our growth. If there is any thing I can do for you please let me know, then the governor turns to Ban, Its good to see you Commander Danna.

Ban: Governor how is the family,

Hastings: fine thank you. Will you be staying with us.

Ban: I’ll be here for a few Tazuras.

Hastings: fill free to visit me.

Ban: I may do that.

Hastings: and who is this reaching for Josh’s hand

Josh: I’m Josh Galen of Argon Security, and receives the governor’s hand and shakes it.

Hastings: I’ve heard of you, It’s a pleasure to meet you.

Dorothy leads the governor away to meet some others.

Thresica: Would you like some refreshments, as she leads the group to the tables filled with food stuffs.

Jeff: I think I’ll take Justin and mingle ok

James: good he needs to meet our people.

Jeff and Justin walk off as Chris and Tracy arrive,

Chris, Hello Commander, Mr. Galen, James, Thresica you look wonderful,

Ban: hello Capt Johnson, Ms Eastman

Josh: Hello and shakes Chris’ hand then turns to Tracy Hello and takes her hand and you look wonderful Ms. Eastman.

Tracy: Thank you Mr. Galen

Josh: call me Josh and smiles at her.

Chris: Thank you Commander for sending the ship personnel to me I will put them to work very soon.

Ban: I hope so I would like to see this new TL you are getting.

Chris: Me too. I think I have the personnel to move it here but I will have to barrow Tracy’s Engineer for a while.

Thresica: I have two that showed up to day, they should be here tonight and you can talk to them.

Chris: wonderful will you be as so kind to point them out to me when they arrive.

Thresica: I will have Scott send them to you when they arrive, Ill be back in a few Sezuras, and heads toward the entrance.

James: help your self’s to the food and drinks, I see some one I need to talk to, I’ll be right back. James walks over to Marissa Sama,


James: Hello Marissa, are you enjoying the party?

Marissa: very much thank you.

James: I wanted to give you a heads up: we have sever more employees that will be showing up for Jackets and flight suits, if we need to add credits to our account just tell Thresica ok.

Marissa: I don’t think that will be necessary with the profits I have maid in the short time that I have been open I owe you more then you owe me, I cant wait to open the next branch I think I will ask mom if Julie is ready to handle it or will we need to hire some one to run it.

James: that’s good news I’m glade that things are working out for you. If you need any thing please ask, and we will help any way we can.

Marissa: Thank you, would it be all right if I ask Jeff to dance?

James: sure, Please do he needs to get away from Justin for a while.

James turned and was greeted by Mike who had on a dark blue suit with a gray stripe down the legs, a white shirt and gray tie. Hello Mike,

Mike: James this is the greatest, I have been able to meet our new people and others, Sam is trying to dance with any woman or girl that will except his offer I saw Jeff Talking with Marissa. I think Justin will work out fine, Heard you had some excitement today.

James: yes I did but we wont go there now. Tomorrow we will be touring the station with Ban and Josh then we are going to KE to pick up our TL, I want you and Sam at breakfast tomorrow at 0900.

Mike: ok and when things slow down we need to have a meeting, I got some news to share with the partners.

James: ok have fun tonight I need to get back to Ban and Josh. James turns and walks away.

When James found Ban, he was talking to a group of pilots, and Thresica was watching the dancers on the floor, James: would you like to dance?

Thresica: yes, and they went out on the dance floor,

James and Thresica were on there second dance when Josh cut in and took Thresica,

James was heading to get a drink when he was intercepted by Tracy,

Tracy: you’re not getting off that easy and grabs his hand and leads him back on the floor, they finish the dance and Mike led Tracy to dance floor.

James was about to head to the drink table when Anjanette intercepted him, and back on to the dance floor they went. After the dance James and Anjanette went to the food area and grabbed some snakes and drinks then sat at a table and talked.

James: I guess Id better mingle, as he gets up and walks away, he mingled till the crowd started thinning around midnight. Then he and Thresica left the ball room and headed to the lifts,

Thresica: I’m glad that this is over, I don’t think I stay awake much longer, I’m dog tired, as they enter the lift, James announces suit. And the lift closed the doors and started moving, when the doors open James followed Thresica out.

James: get some rest, we are due for breakfast at 9:00, I’ll stop by for you at 8:45 ok.

Thresica: that’s ok I’ll be ready, good night.

James: good night. watched Thresica enter her suite. Then turns and heads to his suit enters and heads to his room, changes to his night clothes and laid out a clean flight suit, then climes into bed and was fast asleep.
