Picture Edit of an Argon... something or other

This is an edit of an image of an argon... what ever it is, from an X3 Screen shot. I placed it into this city image and gave it some motion blur for some effect (And to preferably make it mix with the city picture)

Please post any comments and criticisms (Be constructive though, don't be an all out jackass)

The only thing I would have changed is the area around the engine flare- I would have added some ripple, or radial blur, or both, to give more of a sense of heat. That's all I've got for criticism though ^^

One thing about the X forums... there aren't a lot of all-out jackasses.

Incidentally, I would most likely wet myself and faint if I saw an Argon Nova flying that low over the city

1) Yea... i thought the engine flare might need some improving

2) I'm sure the Argon Nova's a hell of a lot louder when it's in a planet and near the ground.

Quick things you could improve, would be a bit more fading on the engines trails (they seem too "cut-out"), and some atmospheric distortion effect as Scarflame said...and also, reduce the over-all blur on the ship, and make it more blurred toward the rear and less toward the center, sould give a bit more sense of depth ("zoom" radial blur work well, usually)...

I'm happy to know I'm not the only one to do such things

Ok, i admit it, i own a Nova, it's not like I've been flying around acting like some sort of futuristic pirate or anything. So MAYBE i shouldn't have tested the Hammerhead 2500k's of the UK shore, it's not like anyone noticed though... i mean, a massive explosion in the middle of the ocean in the middle of no where, i mean, how could you? it was 3:30 in the Morning! The only people on the beach were drunken idiots... really, they were all sleeping, and those who weren't, who'd believe them?

And besides... no one can PROVE i own it... i mean, what if the picture i have really IS a fake hey? Who'd believe you.
