Alpha Security

Chapter 1

Several months have gone by and Josh is back at company HQ with a new business more suited for his unique abilities called Alpha Security.

“Sarah contact Ban Danna and tell him his trainees are two hours late!”

Josh uses the time to check up on his other ventures. As he looks down the list Rious Shipping is doing well Ann and Elk have taken a liking to each other as they spend a lot of time together.

The Wheat Farm is thriving while Robert and Rose have been doing a lot of there spare time together.

The Solar Power Plant is operating at 100% and Umbel is about to open her third chain store.

Salas and Josh have obtained rights to operate on the New Kingdom End Wharf.

“Josh the TP has just docked with the Assault Team. They will be in briefing room three and ready for you in five minutes.” Saran replied.

As Josh walks in the men all jump up to attention. “At ease men and please take your seats. Our objective is to take control of the Pirate Base in Ore Belt. We are to oust all adversaries of the Argon Government. The station has been out of control for a long time and we’re going to put a stop to it.
We are not to destroy the station or kill everyone! Our objective is to remove the current Pirate organization that runs the station out of Argon Space. This is a house-cleaning mission and their house is very dirty! Anyone willing to leave on his or her own will be allowed as a courtesy except wanted felons.”

The plan was designed to cover a worse case scenario. Over two hundred of Argons finest would be swarming the station and taking control of their objectives when the time was right.

These men were the leaders in the operation their training will take two weeks. There would be two leaders per team. Each team will learn one main and two backup objectives. A first assault team would land with Josh and secure the landing bay.

After two weeks had passed Ban Danna checked on the men. “Are they ready Josh?”

“I am very impressed Sir I believe these men could have taken the station after the first week!” Josh replied.

“Well that’s good Commander because the assault is on for tomorrow. Good luck Josh make the Argon people proud. This station has been a thorn in our side to long!” Ban Danna declared as he left.

The assault team leaders boarded there transport and headed for Argon One to meet up with their squads.

Josh and his team boarded an Orinoco specially outfitted for the job and headed out.

A Lifter with Heavy Assault Drones and Marines landed behind the Orinoco. As the men left the Orinoco Josh remained onboard and out of sight till all was in place.

Transporters were installed onboard on all the Assault teams ships so they could transport Drones and Marines into key areas.

The team was in place. Sensors and security channels were under there control.
Two more Lifters had docked with more Marines and Drones. The docking area was under their control as Josh left the Orinoco.

Two fighters moved into position outside the station ready to take out the laser towers.

Three fighter wings and a new Corvette were waiting near the gate for security as a new Carrier came through the Gate.
The Carrier was assigned to Ore Belt as a permanent authority for security and sector defense.

Josh had a Station Security Guard take him to the Station Manager where Josh was disarmed.
Who in turn took Josh to the Owners office where the head of Security and the Owner were waiting.

Josh entered the office and was seated in a chair in front of the desk. The Owner behind the large desk asked Josh to say his peace. The Chief of Security was to his left and behind Josh with his hand on his pistol. A Security Officer was to his right and few feet back. The Guard that brought Josh was waiting outside the door. Josh was unarmed as he explained.

“Sir I am here as a representative of the Argon Government to offer you and your loved ones safe passage out of Argon Space.”
The Man behind the desk face begin to turn red as he said. “What the //////// are you talking about?”

Josh answered. “Please Sir I trying to save lives. This station is going to be under Argon control and I’m here to offer you safe passage out.”

The Owner jumped up reaching for his pistol. “I’ll blow your.” Was all he got out of his mouth as Josh had kicked the Head of Security back into the other Officer. Hurling himself across the desk as he grabbed the owners’ neck snapping it as he hit the floor while Josh snatched the pistol up ready for the two Security Officers.
The Head Security Officer had his pistol drawn as he jumped to his feet. Josh fired a shot taking him out before he could fire.

The other Officer stood as Josh took aim asking. “It’s up to you! Do want to live or die?”

In a daze the Officer got the words out. “I want to live!”

Josh explained to the Officer that Argon Security was onboard and about to take the station. And in order to save the lives of the guards and the people onboard order your men to main plaza hall. Order them to stand down and I will offer anyone wanting to leave safe passage out.

“What about the owners Family onboard the station?” The Officer asked.

“The same offer. Is there going to be a problem?” Josh asked.

“No problem He was brutal to his family and workers.” The Officer stated.

Josh transported the Owners Wife and here Son and their belongings onboard the Exaireo that had docked. Josh promised to relocate them to a safe place. But for now the safety would be back at HQ.

The security guards stood down just as they were ordered. Ships were leaving like ants rushing out of a hill you just stepped on.
The Argon Government gave the shop owners 24 hours to leave or have all their supplies scanned and checked.
Transportation was going to the highest bidder as the shop owners hired credit-hungry Pilots dump enough to land seeking big pay!
By the time the first few ships hit Pirate Space and unloaded the word would be out.
Pirates would come from every where to claim their easy mark as the exodus for pirate space went on.

The smart ones took what they could onto a fast fighter and left leaving the rest. The greedy wanted to keep it all and take a slow easy to capture or overpower freighter.

The Station was under Argon control as Josh boarded the Exaireo. Two of the landing Argon Security Force Marines were injured while trying to take Pirates into custody as they refuse to give up.

Eight Pirates were killed and twenty-three injured as they tried to escape in several firefights.
The felons would be backed into a corner of the station and Assault Drones were sent in after them.

Four hours later Argon Security gave the all clear for the Station.
Josh left the Station and headed back for HQ with the Owners Wife and Son.

A few months and some facial altering for the woman and Josh could place her anywhere safely as long as she keep a low profile.
Argon Security had eyes and ears that for the right price would talk if anyone wanted to find the Woman and her Son.

Only two people would know were they were going the Woman and Josh. Josh engaged the jump-drive and entered The Wall and docked at the HQ. After escorting the Woman and her Son to the safe house section of the Station Josh asked for some background information.

The Woman had no records and was the child of a slave who gave birth while on a ship in space. After talking for a while Josh realized the Woman and Boy had no records and very few people had ever seen them and no pictures outside of the ones she had in her photo album. The Woman explained how she was the second family the owner had started. His first wife and child tried to escape onboard a freighter and were killed as he ordered the ship destroyed.
The Woman went on to explain how she lived in a constant fear of being killed not knowing if he was going to hurt her or show kindness or both.

Josh told the Woman she was safe now and could start over after she had a new identity.
Her husband had hid a large amount of credits in his office that would allow the Woman and her Son to live out their lives in comfort.
After a month or so in the safe house and a new ID placing the woman would be rather easy as long as she keep a low profile.
Josh explained to the woman how and why she had to remain in the safe house for a while.

“The safe house has a medical area and medical drones as well as servant, cook and house keeping drones.
You can order anything you want just don’t send anything back or order anything unusual or rare. Anything you collect or rare foods you like can be used to trace you so don’t order them if you want to stay safe.” Josh explained to the woman as he showed her the safe house complex.

Josh left the safe house area and went to the command center of Alpha Security and waited on his team to return.

Good stuff Ed Man. I was getting a little worried that Josh woul end up as just another unfinished tale. Keep it up.
