[SCRIPT] Khaak Custom Start (non MOD) by Nividium 9/02/2007
Nividium Khaak Custom Start for X3 Reunion, Script Package.
Name of Script Package Khaak Custom Start
Version Number 1.00
Date Released 9/02/2007
Script Created For X3 Reunion v 2.0.02
File Package Available X3 Script Installer "SPK"
Download from here: Nividium Khaak Custom Start in "SPK" file format
Description:
This is a quasi Khaak Custom Non-Plot Start for X3 Reunion. This is NOT a MOD. So, you can add whatever Mods you want to this game start. You play as a Khaak. Everyone hates you. You start a fresh new game with any of the available non-plot game starts and then activate your Script Editor. Now you can either dock at the nearest Station and reload the game, or if you selected one of the Khaak or Enemy of the State starts, you might not be able to dock anywhere. In this case from within your Script Editor, click on the Re-Init Script Cache. In either case the Khaak Custom Start will begin and you will receive an email from the nearest Station. A rejected offer from the owners. You see, you were trying to sell a brand new fully-loaded Khaak Fighter, but they can't afford to buy it. So, go get it. Next, you will recieve another email from one of your employees at your Khaak Headquarters. You also get 1 million credits to start you off right as a Khaak. There is also a Friendly Khaak Shipyard full of cheap Khaak ships and a Khaak Equipment Dock full to the brim with Products in the Sector where your Headquarters reside, (you can do business with them). You might even find an abandoned Argon Mercury TS there as well. The rest of the Khaak race within the Universe hate you though, because you are a traitor to their cause. In addition, I have created an inhouse X3 Auction Services Station command. So, if you want to remain distant from the rest of the Universe and keep all races as enemies, you are in luck, as the X3 Universe Auction Services will sell all your Station/HQ wares for you. So, what are you waiting for you Green blob of Jelly, lets go Khaakinate the Universe.
Installation:
Use the X3 Script Installer.
Uninstall:
Use the X3 Script Installer. This is a Custom Start game so the Stations it creates MUST remain there. There is no point in uninstalling with the hope of carrying on the game. So, uninstall and start some other game.

does your hq get placed in a race sector or in an unknown one?
or do you get to choose
when wares are sold in the auction are they bought by other races and used in the universe economy or do they disappear
cheers
The HQ gets placed in a random Unknown sector.
When wares are sold in the auction, they are bought by and individual from one of the main races and the goods are then resold to that races Shipbuilding industries.

i started a new game with this tonight but ran into a couple of problems
my km3 ended up in
station : null sector : unknown sector
it is in my properties but has no command menu so i cant tell it to follow me or fly to etc
i tried finding it with scorpys map but it doesnt show
this was my second start with this script and the first time the km3 was in a station in same sector as me
the second problem is a bit bigger
the friendly shipyard has no ships available, should it have all the khaak ships including destroyer and carrier for sale
on the plus side the player hq and friendly eq dock both seem to work fine
cheers

These things shouldn't happen. Try downloading a new copy of the spk file and install that. I don't know why there would be no commands available on the docked Km3. Also, the Shipyard should work perfectly. Do you have other scripts installed that may conflict with this one? Ie: same text file and/or command slot used for the built-in Auction?
Also, it sounds like you are not receiving the emails either from the Station where your KM3 is docked and from your employee at HQ. As these are there to let the Player know what's going on.
Also, this is the command slot being used and below that, the text file that stores the info on the Station command button for Auctions.

Yes, the Km3 is supposed to be in the same sector as you and could even be in the same Station as you if your save derived from docking at one. You are also supposed to "Change Ships and get into the KM3, but you shouldn't have to do that though.
Yes, the Shipyard is full of Khaak ships of all models, class and type.
You say something about " tried finding it with scorpys map but it doesnt show". I have no idea what Scorpys Map is and why anything would show on it.
Hmm... try downloading a fresh new file and try again and let me know, Also need to know what other scripts you have installed. I tested this 100 times and it works fine for me. (But, I do not have any other scripts installed either).

Additionally.. How can i get more waepons at the shipyard/equipment dock?
thanks

The Equipment Dock has all the weapons of the known Universe and behaves just like any other ED. I don't know what you mean, by how can you get more weapons. What is happening? Also, if you buy a Khaak ship at the shipyard, it behaves just like any other shipyard, ie: buy 10 ships and you can outfit all 10 at the same time with any Equipment or Upgrades you want for the ship.
