Description: monitor the levels of ammo or station resources

This provides 2 commands, one for ships and one for stations. The commands function identically.

The Stock Level Monitor allows you to monitor the amount of a ware in the cargobay of your ships and stations. This can be usefull for ships that use Mass Driver Ammo, or stations that require periodic topping up, allow you to resupply them before they run out completely.

The commands simply take a ware and a minimum quantity as their arguments. If the amount of the ware in the cargobay drops to less than the minimum quantity set then a message will be sent to you informing you of the low stocks.

Can it be used or modified to monitor Non Player Factories, but rather than monitoring minimum levels I ' d like to set maximum levels.

I 'll explain what I 'd like to use it for that might make what I 'm saying clearer.


I like to buy weap/shields cheap and sell them to equipment docks.

If I could select a NPC weapon factory , set the number for the quantity of Stock (effectively choosing a price) I could get on with other things and when the price is right i'd get a message telling me it's time to send a TS to buy the goods.

I find it tiring to check tens of sector's "Best Buy" periodically , which is what i have to do now.
