Can't get my cockpit mod to work

Ive loaded up the cockpit mod but I still don't have a cockpit. Do I have to enable it in the game or something. Cheers. Am playing version 2.0.02.

u'll have to fly to a new sector so the cockpit can be redrawn

you did select it in the mods list when you started the game right?

Who the hell want those cockpits to restrict their sight. If I remember well from X2, I could't fly an M1,M2,TL without being disturbed by the "bridge", the empty chairs and consoles, I started feeling like Cpt. James Kirk.

I thanked EGOSOFT for removing the cockpits in X3, along with the warp tunnel and those fake station interiors, and I don't want to see them never again.

I can imagine how a bridge on the bigger ships could get annoying....but in fighters, its irritating as hell that i have no idea wheter i'm in the ockpit, or a turit, or jsut some other odd view point....

thanks for that, it started working the next tiem I docked. Looks great and adds to the realism.
