What is it: This is an "Artificial Life" script.
BenCo Industries has revolutionized the Energy Resource industry. BenCo's new slogan is, "Stop using expensive Energy Cells and start using the free Energy of Garbage". How is this new technology achieved you might ask. Well, our R&D team has put together a package that utilizes the power generating capabilities of a typical standard "shield generator". The actual technology is a trade secret, but you will notice a new "1 MJ shield" installed as your primary resource together with the addition of "Garbage" as another primary resource.
You can retro-fit any single Factory for a flat installation fee of only 5 million credits and as an added bonus, BenCo Industries will supply you with all the Garbage you can handle, with fast free Freight Beamer deliveries too. FREE energy to run your Plants. Just think of the savings! No more Freight Transporters risking their necks to go buy and deliver those crappy old energy cells to your factories (that's a huge savings right there!) plus free energy to run your plants. Energy is one of the highest costs of turning raw resources into products and now with BenCo Industries, you can kiss all of those associated costs good-bye! See below for answers to our customers most FAQ questions:
FAQ:
What about the 200,000 energy cells, I have already bought and that sit in my Factory right now?
ANSWER:
Don't worry, BenCo's got it covered. We will buy all your energy cells at market price. These energy cell will then be given away free to charity.
FAQ:
If I have a single Factory and convert it over to BenCo's system, then later I have another Factory built beside the first one and have that one converted too, can I then combine these two Factories into one single complex without any problems?
ANSWER:
Of course you can. Any factory that has been converted can then be added to a “Complex”. You can also add single factories that have been retro-fitted onto prior existing “complexes” that have not been retro-fitted. These newly added factories will use the new garbage recycling technology whilst being connected to the older “complex”.
FAQ:
What if I already have a small or large non retro-fitted "Complex" built, can I retro-fit it to use the BenCo system?
ANSWER:
No. The myriad and possible combinations of prior existing “Complexes” are beyond the retro-fit capabilities of the BenCo Garbage recycling program. However, if you start from scratch and build a “complex” by only adding individual factories that have already been retro-fitted, then there is no problem in building small or even large “complexes”, even closed loops, etc. Also, you can (as already stated above) add new factories that have been retro-fitted (individually) first, onto an existing old complex that is not retro-fitted.
FAQ:
Will there be any change in the production times or rates of my finished or intermediate products after installing the BenCo Garbage Recycling Program?
ANSWER:
Yes. The new system utilizes garbage to finished product “BATCH” process. So, you will notice that there may be a change in the quantity per minute cycle. For instance, a factory that used to produce 10 units of finished product every 10 minutes, might after retro-fit, produce 20 units of finished product every 20 minutes. So the ratio is the same, but the size of the “batch” and time taken to produce it, will be increased. But the end result remains the same.
FAQ:
The details of my Factory showed a 0 credit per unit of Garbage cost, so then I played with the price selector and now the cost is locked in at 4 credits per unit of garbage. This is overstating my actual costs to produce products. How do I know what my real cost is if my actual cost of Garbage is FREE?
ANSWER:
Yes, this is a problem and one that BenCo cannot control. Unfortunately, your Factory is using “old” outdated locked in or hard coded prices for certain resources and there is nothing BenCo or you can do about it. However, lesson learned, don’t play (change) the price setting for the garbage. Also, BenCo will check and reset your actual cost of garbage back to zero every 20 minutes or so. The cost shown doesn’t have any impact on your real cost as you get the garbage for free. But, we understand that you want to be able to cost your product, so that you can adjust your selling price accordingly. So, once again, BenCo’s got it covered.
FAQ:
Are the rumors true, that BenCo is just looking for a way to get rid of their "toxic waste and garbage" by implementing a new Garbage Recycling kit that runs on said garbage. What are the health risks to my Factory employee?
ANSWER:
These rumors are nothing more than, contrived, spiteful, lies that are being spread by the Solar Power Plants, Crystal Fabs and others who have a stakeholder’s interest within the energy industry. These rumors are totally unfounded. BenCo is the future and the future is BenCo.
How to use it: See the "ReadMe" file for this.

Hmmm, no you don't have to be docked. Yes it works on a Mine. Don't know what your problem is. Guess it just doesn't work for you. Sorry, can't help you.

Check with the script installer (I assume that you would be using it) if there are any conflicts? Though in the community index the command slot doesn't appear to be used.

No it Does Not! It uses 1147
| Code: |
<t id="1146">COMMAND_TYPE_STATION_46</t> : Station Profit Monitoring - fortysix2nz
<t id="1147">COMMAND_TYPE_STATION_47</t>
<t id="1148">COMMAND_TYPE_STATION_48</t> : Complex Manager : Naffarin |
Are you sure you even extracted the thing into the proper subdirectories?
If the Station Commands don't show up, it is either because the setup file is missing or you have installed it into the wrong directory or you don't realize that the Station Commands show a BLANK command list until you click on one of the BLANKS and drill down deeper into the submenues.

Actually, did a little checking, Shovinus never got his script added into the community index, but it does use the same command slot. So, it's nobody's fault here.

1147 - Dock Upgrade Manager
1245 - Upgrade Single Ship

His thread is here
Can we have a different command slot, please? I'm planning to use this in the future as well

I don't know. I'm packing them just fine and installing them just fine as well, so either you are crazy or I am j/k. Do you have the latest plugin manager version? (1.86) Also the older version of plugin manager was said to put the wrong files in the wrong directories (t to scripts, scripts to t).
Just to remind you, Dock Upgrade Manager does conflict with this one.
