Project voXager: The musical version of Farnham's Legend

Post by HelgeK »

Hi Folks,

I think I've talked about that earlier. Late in 2006, I've started a project to put music to the words of Farnham's Legend. The style is categorized approprietly as "Space Metal", a mix of synths and melodic metal.

The name of the project is voXager. So far, we're one keyboardist, one guitarist and two vocalists, but since it's a project, and not a band, additional musicians are always welcome.

We're blogging about the process of making the album at this URL:

http://www.voXager.de/

It's in english language, and in the download section you'll find a roughmix (draft) version of the album's first song.

Per musica ad astra!

Hi all :-)

Here's the second song of project voXager:

http://www.voxager.de/wp-content/upload ... ds_v20.mp3

This song, and the first one, are also available in the download area of the project site http://www.voXager.de/

A drummer has just started to record "real" drums for the songs, and sometime next month (or early june) they're going to be re-recorded under a studio situation, so they'll sound even more pro.

Meanwhile, voXager is working on the next two songs, one of which is a ballad.

Have fun!

Per musica ad astra... by music to the stars?

Also, songs rock.

Thanks!

Yes, it means exactly that. I thought it was somehow fitting to the project :-)

Apt indeed.

And I know the square root of nothing about Latin! :P

Hope to see (hear) more stuff soon.
