RELEASED SG-1 Puddle Jumper TP

it looks pretty good. i used a turretdummy for the front gun/..note that is my custom turret dummy3.. download from my custom guns folder or replace in the scene file with turretdummy..only diff is textures and split guns vs twin cannon look.

I'm having trouble getting thr front guns to fire (can ire missiles and the cockpit looks fine). Also, this is a pretty high pol-count (I assume that's the reason for the large BOD), so everyone should note that it takes some time to instantiate this ship.

The XSP is up and working, except for the front guns. Very smalle VERY fast ship.

Shouldn't it have the engine pods deployed? It's been a while since I've watched Atlantis, but I'm pretty sure that when in space the Puddle Jumper has deployed engine pods, and it's generally only when going through a gate or when landing/docking that they're closed. Plus, the engine pods are where the actual Puddle Jumper's guns (well, drone launchers, but whatever) are, so we wouldn't have to use the turret, which looks out-of-place.

actually the engine pods and weapons are seperate.

the weapons are just infront of the engine pods when they open.

but yes, when its flying, the engine pods are usually open

i need to watch more sg1 :) the front gun is a modified turretdummy i call turretdummy3.bod all i did was change the textures and push the cannons closer together. you need to download the turretdummy3 from my customs guns folder and place it in the ships/props sub folder. the tships line already calls it so no more work needed to use the cannon.

if you dont want my custom gun go into the scene file and take off the number 3 at the end of turretdummy to make it a plain old turretdummy. then edit the tships line and do the same in the guns area.

all that will do is make the gun look like a default turret.
