Like, i said - i checked the text file in the zip pack and the entry definately existed.
So I can only assume that the file 448112 in your t folder isnt the newest version and thats why your gtting the readtext errors?
EDIT: how does the installer choose which file to put in? Is it solely on date or down to which version of the script the .spk file was? As i possibly made one version of the text file and then also updated it on 23rd, ie. the same day.

well, it should use the last modified time of the file
so it only puts the file that has most recently been modified, which usually should be the correct file.
however i missed something, and this check is only performed if the scripts is the same, so if you have the same files in another script it doesn't check the time and just overrights it.
so its will be based on the most recent script you installed, this is fixed in the new beta thou

Hi,
I try to download the ZIP version, yet the URL sends me to another screen in this link.
Oh tried RIGHT CLICK and SAVE AS, yet its corrupted once downloaded.

Going round in circles with this...
I cant update the TXT file, as I can only download the SPK version (read above), when I try the ZIP link I get this page again in another window.
As I cant replace the TEXT file with the correct version, I get the READTXT errors still.
Can someone email me the zip or even simply the TEXT file I need. ???

Yeah, a missing 's' in the text file. Oops - will be fixed in the next version including more missions and variations. Due soon.
Some people seem to have issues with the download links - i've come across that 'opens the same page again' error before myself. Tho i dont know why it happens??? Anyone?
I've found that copying and pasting the link into the browser tends to work. I'll try an get them on a mirror soon. If anyone doesnt mind hosting them then that would be useful?

If its not released by tomorrow then there'll prob be an additional "celebratory" mission due to the release of serenity on dvd tomorrow! - now thats something to look forward too!!!

Cycrow: Cheers. That'd be good. I assume that you're ok downloading them off the links? (some people have had problems) There should be a new version of this script later today aswell. Can you PM me the links to the scripts where you're hosting them then.

Not sure if this is the correct BBS addon but I think it is
Assuming I am correct and it is this addon that gives you requests for transport to a nearby pirate base from an unsavoury character for arround 15-17k (if not anyone know which one it is)
When docked at ore belt having safely deliverred a passanger there I was offerred a job to take another unsavoury character to the pirate base in Ore Belt, thinking it may be an easy 16k I accepted, undocked and redocked only to be told that I was docked at the wrong place and he was getting off with no patment, I rechecked my msg recieved when I accepted and it definitely read from Pirate base Ore Belt to Pirate Base Ore Belt. was ot a real issue as to avoid any consequences I just reloaded the last but one autosave and redeliverred the first passanger.

Yeah, this is the right script.
Ok, cheers for bringing it up. I'll look into the code where it gets the destination and that and see how this has happened and fix it.
